Rudra's New Role: It's uniforms all the way for Rudra Bhaisa. Just exchange the olive fatigues for the white coat. Rudra was so convincing as a medic, that he didn't even need a stethoscope or thermometer to shore him up. His two-handed pulse-check was admittedly outside the norm. But who's to say it was less effective? And the temperature test was super-quick so that he'd barely touched the patient before she pronounced herself recovered!! History-taking, however, could do with attention.
thanks buggy, for ur recommending his potentiality as a medic man 😛...he will be in need of an alternative profession, very soon,as per spoilers.
jokes apart, the moment appeared quite poignant to me that the man who was known to conceive strategy with tigerine skills, looked utterly lost when faced with the danger of losing her. all the threats called from various sections that can affect paro's well being...ran one after another in his head, and unable to decide which one to choose he hung his head at his utter failure to protect her.

Well written detailed take, thanks.
Loved the PaRud interaction today, Rudra is sure losing it and he hasn't realised it yet. He playing doctor doctor was hilarious, Ashish was good there.
Story is moving forward with more revelations. Mohini kaki is not just grey but evil, she is making a deal with Thakur for Rudra's death. Sure she is behind her sister leaving her son and husband.

Thank you, Malini. 😃 Glad you liked it.
Yes PaRud were heart-warming. Everything was light-hearted - Rudra's orders, Dilsher's teasing, Sanaya's reaction - but with a more serious undertow. There were real emotions under it all, Rudra's fear of loss and Dilsher's recognition of what is going on and his hope being paramount. Ashish was brilliant as usual!
Mohini Kaki is the surprise package. It's a rather jarring leap for me. To go from tongue-lashing to murder seems out of character. I wonder if the CVs had this in mind for her originally, or if it has been influenced by newer factors. I agree, it's almost certain that Mohini is behind the runaway sister.

Yes, the episode was indeed dhamakedaar!!!! Especially since a lot of characters came out in the front and displayed their shades!! Who would have thought Thakur could be so soft with Thakurain (unless it is a pretense) or that Mohini harbored so many ill feelings and can be so muderous? Laila didn't show any different colour than is expected of her! The conversation between Rudra and Laila only reiterated the fact that Rudra needs to be extra careful with Laila as she is potentially dangerous. And the best revelation was Rudra going all uncharacteristically soft on Paro and was genuinely scared and worried for her. However I thought it to be very cute of him to slip into the role of a doctor!!! Pulse-checking, temperature checking!! What was THAT Major Rudra Pratap Ranawat?!!! LOVE?!!! But the best part was the way Thakurain proudly pronounces her son's name! RUDRA PRATAP RANAWAT!!!

Well, the stage is set for a wild goose chase! The exchange offer, Paro for Rudra's head, is about to be rolled out!!! Am all excited now!

Thank you Mozart. 🤗
@ Lots of covers ripped: Agreed! The Thakur-Thakurain relationship was a real eye-opener for me. Yes we've seen them hug before. But the real tenderness in his eyes, his tremulous joy for her son's wedding - really masterful acting by Tarun!! But will he let his feelings for the Thakurain influence him when it comes to dealing with her son?
And Kakisa - that is one evil cold-blooded devil there!! I mean this is sibling rivalry in the extreme. She's actually sick, literally! There must be a psychiatric term for what she's got. I want to tell PaRud to get out of the haveli and out of her sight.
Laila: Another loose cannon. Don't know when and what she'll do! Rudra really has so many enemies baying for his blood, that it seems to me amazing to think they'll even get out this mess alive.
@ Rudra playing doctor: He was so cute! Out of his mind with fear for Paro. And then so relieved he couldn't believe his eyes. Seemed to me he needed to touch her to reassure himself that she was really there, that all was well.
@ The exchange offer: Strangely, I'm quite dreading it. Even Kakisa can't know what she's letting loose on PaRud. I really want her to get her fingers, and more, burnt!!

Helloo Shreya, 😃
@ Rudra's alternative profession: So he's going to need one definitely, is he? I seem to have missed this spoiler - but it's not surprising, just saddening.
@ The seriousness underneath the hilarity: Agreed. he'd lost it there from the time that Laila issued the threat till the time he saw her. And when he saw her he still didn't quite believe his eyes. I felt that he needed to touch her to be sure she was actually there and not kidnapped. Dilsher saw straight through him - that was the drunken truth there when he said Rudra had gone crazy. And yes, I hated that he blamed himself for failing to protect her. My heart went out to him in that instant. He seems to be carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders!!
