I usually crib over Laila Rudra scenes cz for some reason they seem to happen on the days i dod WUs!😆 But today for the 1st time i actually enjoyed watching the scene!👏

Finally Ankita has justified why she is cast among the other stellar actors of this show, as i always doubted their choice till now!!

ANYWAY, I have to disagree that I have not had a more impactful moments/ episodes. For me till date the best episode is the one where Paro points the gun at Rudra and then turns it on her.. Nothing has surpassed that one for me.

But i do agree that this was an amazing episode. She was brilliant today!! 👍🏼

I am a very sporadic watcher and cant say i have seen many other Laila scenes ...or anything that stood out ...

today thought I thought she did brilliantly and Ashish supported her very well...just enough for the curry to taste good and not over power it 😆

I missed the gun scene and went and watched it just now ...it was dramatic yes ...just that this had many more ingredients to it ...

and then again not all of us can agree on the same best scene right ...so yup this will go up along with that for audience loved moments😃

PARO 's character is not very well written , but I STRONGLY agree with Diya that parud fights have that spark , for ex Friday episode , v have to understand PARO can not fight like Laila cuz her character is totally different from Laila , how can v aspect PARO who's is gentel , soft spoken , innocent girl , fight or confront with RUDRA like , bold , prostitute Laila

I agree with you Ankita was good today... But I don't think that's the best scene ever in the show because I have seen more better scene before in the show. For me the best was the gun scene with Paro and her tear drop on Rudra was the most powerful scene in RR for me till date I watch that scene many times. Today is not an episode I wouldn't go back to but it was good but not great the highlight for me was Mausam aunty dance.

True, subjective it is.

I think, good dialogues, direction and camera work and acting made the scene impactful. What seems to be working in it's favour too in terms of luster is that the story also seemed to move ahead a bit after a couple of weeks of setting all the characters in place. The story got a shot in the arm with Laila taking on shades of "Lago".

Kaki, Dilsher, Rudra and Laila have got the most dialogues in their scenes, but there were some powerful scenes of Rudra and mostly Paro with very little dialogues which have been equally impactful. Some of her scenes in jail were very poignant and heartwrenching. Yup, the makers are lucky to have got this talent onboard, hoping the writing fully utilizes this. I am sure even Thakurayan and Thakur have interesting scenes ahead.

However, today Ankita was good in her scenes, so a well deserved appreciation post.

i don't think any of these scenes would hold the same impact if they were not watched at the correct time. (After the 1st time whenever u watch it again it will evoke the same emotions if the scene was good but the 1st moment should be with the flow of the story. )
u watched this scene in the heat of all the discussions and also with the buildup to it in ur mind. The gun scene u didn't watch like that, u just went back n watched it with the present Paro already in ur mind, her current equation with Rudra already in mind..

in anycase people may have different fav moments. i just thought to mention the above as i thought comparing watching it out of sync with an insync scene would be unfair.

Anyway i would rate today's scene much lower than the gun one.. its as u said a personal choice.. it make the whole forum pretty much weep that day..

But Ankita was at her best today! i still stick to that!

How you come up with this " prostitute " word.. Can you please explain..? Rudra and laila are in a relationship.. You can very conviniently accept Rudra with paro.. And named Laila as kothewali, prostitute, other woman, vamp.. Why these double standard..?

Just like others i am also very much interest in parud love story.. Love their online chemistry.. But that doesnt mean we will use slangs for laila..

And in this thread we are here to praise Ankita( laila) for her performance .. Like we praise other actors some other day. Its her day today.. Simple

the thing is I watch most of this with half an eye open and then perk up ...and run the scene and judge it from a very technical point of view ...so thats what i did for the other one as well what precedes etc does not come into it ...

and that scene seems to be the fav for many ...and i am not questioning that ...at all...
