Very nice recap Diya.

Does Rudra believe Paro is innocent - no, though the thought has crossed his mind once or twice before being quickly dismissed. He has tried intimidation and that did not work. A day full of MaChi-sa's introducing Paro around has kept him on the tenterhooks, the confrontation that happened was a sheer aftermath.. more in the angle of "open your eyes and look what is happening around you..", a vociferous argument that included truths about her husband and villagers. While the necklace removing was planned, this was not but the goal is the same - an impassioned attempt to shake her out her reverie, a race against time as the clock is ticking thanks to her grand introduction to the outside world.

As you mentioned, very festive sets and lovely attire on all around except for Rudra. Precap was interesting and it had nothing to do with Paro and Rudra 😃

Lovely take as always you do. thanks.
I enjoyed the episode with all the buildup for something big to happen and Sanaya in the blue costume looking breathtakingly beautiful made my day.
Loved PaRud convo, finally making some progress story wise with some revelations. Can't wait for next week.

But if looks could kill, Laila would be serving jail for Paro's murder by now ... for sure.🤣

OMG...Diya.. thank goodness she had no gun on her...Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

The face-off was just brilliant. Reason one being that these two talk and spill it all out. When Paro said now you will say that you were born to protect me! And he goes, "Yes I saved you!"...I loved this bit of their argument the most...it was deep and was the crux of their relationship.

And then of course thank goodness he disclosed everything about about Varun. Never mind if she does not believe at this point of time. But she will have a lot to sit and think about when the real truth is out.

Second reason being they were both brilliant. Loved Sanaya going wide-eyed in shock and Ashish lashing out in frustration and anger. The push she gives him at the end was just superb.

Somewhere here felt Rudra went beyond his call of duty. This was not Majorsa and a captive's face-off. It was more personal. Maybe here we can find out answer as to why he wants to marry her knowing she is innocent.

He has lost her once to Varun, do you think he would let her go the second time. Punishment he sahi, but now it goes beyond that, his feelings for her run deep...whatever they may be at this point...protectiveness, possessiveness, care, fear for her life, attraction...strangely they all sum up to Love.

About Mohini, so Tej knew she was married before and had a son. She also continues to call Dilsher her husband and Danveer her devarsa. He is even ready to help her meet her son.

This means her marriage is not dissolved and she wears the sindoor and mangalsutra in Dilsher's name. So is she just living with Thakur. You can't be married again until you end the first isnt it? But do the villagers of Birpur know that? What is the deal with Tej? To still be married and live with another man. How come Tej is ok with that. Some mystery there.

Also after all that Paro told Rudra that she does not believe her life to be in danger, she decides to stay back in the room. No doubt she does not want to participate in the revelry, but she always defies him. So how did things change now...I wonder. Somewhere she might have started to sit and think.

Sanaya looked like a Princess. Royal and regal and stunning in the sea-green ensemble... a colour that stands for hope and new beginnings.

Cant wait for Monday...tooo far away...

Thanks! 😃 I would call it a filler episode ... but such episodes are needed ... can't jump straight into action without everyone being in position.

Thank you ... writing it showed how many scenes there were of everyone moving into position ... now hope to get a dhamaka next week. But going according to soap tradition, there will be a series of near misses till the actual wedding day ... nothing ever happens in soap land except right at the wedding mandap 😆

Today was the "setting up the scene" episode, the culmination of this current drama will happen next week. Glad that we got to see all the principal characters and each has an agenda driven by their goals.

Parud scene was the highlight again and I can understand Paro's denial of Rudra's accusations. Without proof Paro cannot be expected to trust a BSD officer and go against the people who were her guardians since childhood and unlearn all the prejudices she was brought up with. Just like Rudra continues to believe Paro, a beautiful, deceitful woman, knows of the nefarious activities of Tejawat. It is his words against hers. Seems both need to be at the brink of death to know of each others truth.

Diya, a good point why the marriage tactic if Rudra had any inkling of Paro's innocence? Why the insistence of a big wedding with all the rituals if he wanted to keep Paro's presence a secret in Chandangadh? So, in putting down Kakisa he fell prey to her tactics. The personal and professional lines are getting blurred for Rudra.

Are Dilsher and Danveer happy for this wedding or resigned to it? They both fully know under what circumstances it has been organized and that it is more of a pressure tactic than a wedding. So, puzzled about their revelry and drinking, unless they will spill some beans next week.

Mohini continues with her quest and Laila is sharpening her claws, most likely to become a snitch. The precap completed the picture. Thakur knows of his wife's previous marriage and child, the curious case of Mala contuines.

The set decoration and costumes indeed were good. Sanaya looked stunning in the sea green lehanga choli.

U, great post ⭐️

The beauty of this MU is that it has a solid foundation. Both are mired in their individual prejudices ... while we know that Rudra is right, we can't blame Paro for not believing him, she has the evidence of her own eyes, as well as the prejudice of her entire childhood, and the death of her parents at the hands of the BSD, as she believes. So for her to rid herself of the image of the BSD man being just a cruel killer, is not going to be easy at all ... and he has not done much to change her mind about the general cruelty of the BSD. AND he has made lots of accusations against the Thakur, but hasn't given her an iota of proof about a single one. So why would she believe him?

Yet we know he's right ...

So only a major dhamaka will make her change her mind ... either that or Rudra and Aman somehow getting some proof about the Thakur and showing it to her.

Dilsher and Danveer are just having a good time at Mohini's expense ... am sure she controls the purse strings very tightly in normal circumstances 😆 And they know they can't change Rudra's mind, ... or Paro's, for that matter ... both are equally obstinate. So might as well go with the flow. Also Dilsher likes Paro ... he knows her truth, and would be quite happy if the wedding goes through ... I think he sees Rudra's redemption in Paro.

Thakur thakurain .. I have given up guessing ... am waiting to see the whole story emerge. It is most unpredictable! 😆

Rudra ... professional and personal lines are getting very blurred indeed. With the need to keep Paro hidden ... he should never have challenged Mohini into a big wedding at all.

But then how would we have gotten all the beautiful decorations and costumes for a week of wedding celebrations 😉

today's take was awesome, diya👏
captured the feel of the episode perfectly!

rudy boy said that he really needs that signature.. and so he will continue terrorizing her to sign.
he also said that he will marry her either way.. as punishment for her refusal to sign, if it comes to that. (actually, she is at a stage that no one wants her, not even the army.. and i dont think anyone will care if he actually does marry her. )

as you said, the special episode was shining beauty.. very specially decked out. it was an intriguing watch for those new to the serial.. i'll say trp is gonna jump up next week.

Perfect title and a great post, Diya!⭐️ Among all the festivities, the singing and dancing, the lights and decorations, there is this pall of danger, of impending doom that is lurking, and is very apparent to the people in the know. In other words, the audience, Rudr and MoChi Sa. Saddest part is that Paro appears to be completely unaware of this, when it is her life that is danger the most.

Exactly so, Savs!⭐️ He does not believe in her innocence yet...to him, she is still the treacherously beautiful woman that she ever was. In his one-tracked mind, her refusal to accept Thakur's guilt firmly puts her in the dock. He just cannot comprehend that what is patently true to him, could be anything less clear to anyone else. He might listen to his heart for a moment and consider her to innocent if she accepts that Thakur is the villain, and that she unknowingly became part of his schemes.
Both are blinded by their prejudices and preconceptions. A huge dose of open-mindedness is in order for both😃
