Thank you, Jaz. 😃 The mother-and-son meet was a really poignant moment - especially if you think that his eyes (supposed to be a carbon copy of hers) were meeting another pair exactly the same! Very tantalising and beautifully played by Ashish.

Today was PaRud all the way.
Sanaya looked too stunning for words. I don't know whether to appreciate her beauty or her acting chops.

Loved kakisa's dialogue to Sumer about wanting to knock out his knees so she can make sure where his brains really are😆

Today the two rain sequences did not work for me. As you pointed out, Sadia's dialogues lacked the emotional feel of a desperate mother. Hope it gets corrected in upcoming mother-son scenes.

Thank you for your kind words. 😃
Ahhh yes PaRud just effortlessly dominated the screen. Rudra is really putting Paro through her paces. 😆 At this rate with this simmering attraction between them, he'll never get any satisfaction out of Laila!
Kakisa was on a winning spree!! Already cracked Paro's secret, and then decided to get her kicks out of Sumer. Does anybody think what she's doing to Sumer borders on abuse? I mean, she's always hitting him, never mind the jibe-a-minute, and now almost water-boarding him and threatening him with knee-capping!! And she has this unerring instinct for canoodling couples - always puts a dampner on Mythili and Samrat, and last night tried to shut down PaRud. Except Rudra's made of ...erm..harder stuff! 😉
Yes hoping Sadiya will get under the skin of her character soon - she's too experienced an actress not to.

The sizzling intense moment between Paro and Rudra ...So beautifully described by you 👏

Thank you, Sonia. 😃 Glad you liked the title and my take on PaRud.
Yes that impromptu meeting between mother and son after 15 years was just too loaded with meaning. Ashish's expressions were everything you could wish for in a scene like that. It would have been even more brilliant if Sadiya had shown a flicker of uncertainty - but I suppose she couldn't have. Because then, she'd have rolled down the window some more, and Rudra would have seen her. No wonder she was made to play nervous and preoccupied.
PaRud are burning hotter with every new moment, and I wonder how much heat we can stand before we meltdown.😆

Paro baisa is quite the devil she likes being the damsel in distress all at the expense of poor Rudra bannna nerves. His expression changes from surprise first at her defiance, then shock is she mad, concern at his helplessness at her stupidity and to anger damn these women I sure hate them. If the situation wasn't grave I would have had a hearty laugh, Rudra set such a good scene he had the upper hand, he even had a great come back but all his night's work wasted he is back to square one worrying about Paro life. I felt really bad for him he is fighting a lone battle trying to save a woman who doesn't want to be saved. I think Paro and Rudra have a signature word between them it is Rudra's incredulous 'kya' at Paro.

A kindred spirit. My thoughts exactly. Loved your entire post. Didn't expect to find an amazing post within an amazing post! 😊

You! Yes you... How do you do this? I love this post to bits!

That scene between Rudra and Paro would have super heated steam.

And totally agree on the scene between Mala and Danveer. It fell flat and felt like she was going through the motions.

I find it hard to be sympathetic toward her right now. When she stands apart from her identity as Rudras mother, I really love her. A soft spoken loving wife blind to her husbands treachery, a mother figure to Paro. Despite all evidence pointing to her being Rudras mother. I had held on to a tiny bit of irrational hope that she wouldn't turn out to be his mother. I had hoped it was a red herring. What a rude awakening she's in for if she hopes a few tears will wash away the acidic poison flowing through her sons viens. I'm eagerly waiting for that day where they see each other, fully aware of who the other person is sans the protective veil of rain and fogged glass.

Lovely take as always!
The first Danveer Thakuran scene fell falt for me, Sadia's dialogue delivery was not up to the mark.

The mom-son scene was much better ... the rain soaked night made an appropriate backdrop to the first meeting after fifteen years, and the look of desolate yearning in Rudra's eyes as the car drove away ... beautiful!

The PaRud scene ... exquisite! You said it ... the love-hate equation, the scorching chemistry, the relentless seduction and the beginning of reluctant attraction on both sides ... brilliantly portrayed by Sanaya and Ashish. The defiant Paro, trying not to melt, the softly seductive Rudra ... and then falling instantly into their now familiar roles of protector and protected when kaakisa made an appearance.

Sabs!! Lovely lovely post!! 🤗
Yes, the two scenes you wrote about here are the only stand-outs for me. However I am a bit curious why Rudra's mom wasn't as enthusiastic as I thought she would be after meeting her BIL and also having a chance meeting with Rudra on this rainy night?! Can't entirely blame Sadiya's dialogue delivery as we know she is a far better actress! Something just wasn't gelling right! Especially the blank expression on her face when she rolls down the car window after Rudra lets her go. Though a poignant scene. Didn't work that much effectively for me because of Sadiya. But kudos to Ashish all the way!!! He carried out that scene stunningly!! My eyes were locked on to him through out that scene!

The HOT scene was purely sensual, sizzling and brought out many finer shades in Rudra and Paro's relationship! Both are equals! If he knows how to rile her up then so does she! Yet, they trust each other unknowingly! Rudra's protective instincts get sharper around Paro!! Why do I feel that this protectiveness is not JUST the Witness Protection Program protectiveness?!!! It is much more than that and soon Rudra is in for a shock that the feeling is something different!! Well well we are sure for a great ride ahead!!

After the rain came the steam: I'm referring, of course, to the beautiful PaRud meeting that was drenched in sensuality
A soaked Rudra raised an arm to squeeze out the water from his hair, unconsciously mirroring Paro's raised elbows as she fiddled with the necklace clasp. The opportunity seized to play with her. They would do everything in tandem from then on. She'd match him step-for-step as he slow danced her back to a pillar. Then the music of her name on his lips, unbearable, so that she forbade it, to match the sweet melody on hers when she called him'Jallad'.
His hand curving as if to cup the graceful line of her neck left bare, but for the chain. Her face tilting away... his angling in, slotting perfectly into the vulnerable wedge just below her earlobe. His nostrils filling with her essence; her skin soft under his fingertips as he worked the clasp. The puffs of his breath feathering over her hair; his heat enveloping her body; overpowering her senses. Until she scrunched up her eyes to suppress the tumult.
And then, fraction by nerve-tingling fraction, he dragged the necklace from around her neck, lingering for a moment at the base of her throat, before it brushed a trail of fire all the way down her body beneath the fall of her hair. She'd wanted to undo the clasp, he said, holding the necklace out to her.
But when she snatched it, ready to flee, he caught her arm and held her back. He had a gift for his fiancee - red bangles. They were the right size, he was sure - his fingers had measured her wrist often enough. She could see that, she fought back against the drag of his fingers on the tender skin inside her wrist, and nodded to the weals blazing red from his savage grip. For a moment his eyes narrowed and his face closed. Then relaxed into pure seduction as he quelled her efforts to break free with a gentle admonishment. His hold on hers tender as he eased the bangles over her hand one-by-one.
Sabs ... Girl ... The entirety of the scene ... Hot hot hot ... Beautifully written ... Sensual heated Text without an iota of squeamish ... You breath life into the scene for me ... Thanks Sabs ...

Poona ❤️ Thank you for your generous appreciation. Believe me, it isn't a patch on the music of last night! Nope, not squeamish at all. Discarded inhibitions long ago - they interfere with my writing integrity. 😆

If the first scene was supposed to evoke some sympathy for Thakurayain it certainly did not, the scene fell flat, only blemish in an otherwise crisp episode that was just right from all angles. There is just something wrong with this woman, oh wait I know the word delusional she has no idea the man the son that is waiting for her at the other end, she thinks she will shed a few tears tell him how much she missed him and they will be one big happy family. If she wanted a teaser then she should have heard what Rudra told Aman regarding the wife of that Kamina Tejawat without even knowing who the woman was Rudra had pumped up the hatred meter. Grab some popcorn and lets wait for the big reveal he is going to bury her alive mommy or no mommy she is toast. Ok I won't rant about this character any more but she is just off putting and I know everyone thinks there is one big conspiracy behind all this but still don't like her from whatever we have seen so far.

The scene between Rudra and his mother highlights how desperately they are stuck in time holding on to a past that is long gone. Rudra just those eyes was enough for that boy to come back who wants his mother desperately, and his mother too is thinking of a happy child playing around who is going to embrace her the moment he sees her. Sadly for them the boy is long gone, and the pure image Rudra has of his mother is tainted, when they both face the realities of who the other is and how much has changed between them then the volcano will erupt.

I also laughed at Rudra scolding of Aman awww. Rudra does have a very dry sense of humor, is aman taking orders from god, no aman boy even if god himself came Major is your boss you better not cross him. I love how Aman takes it all in good stride and admires and respects Rudra. Rudra is superior in rank and has got trust issues but so far we don't see it with Aman. I hope these will two always be friends, brothers, coworkers, and colleagues. Rudra needs a sweet Aman, and Aman needs a tough teacher like Rudra they complement each other.

Ok now the highlight of the episode steamy interaction, wow Rudra entered with guns loaded firing from all barrels. See if Paro was truly repulsed by Rudra she would react to him the way she reacts to Sumer whenever he crosses her path. She would never let Sumer even get close to her neck before punching him the gut, but with Rudra even though she doesn't like it there is just something between them that keeps her rooted to the spot and she lets him have his way. She might not like it but she doesn't mind it either. Rudra too seesawing between playing the game and being honest, his expression after taking off the necklace was serious like why would I touch you he knows he is not a pervert and he was letting her know that. His expression at her bruised wrists were guilty he knows he was too rough and he felt bad. Ok bangle wearing scene is a classic Indian treasure a must in any show, points to writers for making this one unique in its own way because these type of scenes are done to death so nothing can shock you. What was unique in this scene is that Paro didn't fight back don't tell me she is afraid of her wrist getting cut like Rudra warned, it all goes back to her unsaid connection with him she doesn't like it but doesn't mind either she will let him have his way.

But when all is said and done when the dust settles only one truth remains he is her shield, he could have let her go his little seduction game was over, but instead he grabs her to place her behind him to show his spiteful Kaakisa to prove one final point that no one gets away with hurting his girl.

I am more and more believing this marriage with happen but on Rudra's terms and it won't be based on hate. Rudra wants to keep his job desperately what would be the most diabolical thing to do is to have Paro taken away by Tejawat and then catch him red handed in action, it is called luring the prey using a bait. Rudra being a military man should be aware of these basic war tactics. But Rudra never seems to consider this angle, never will he place her life deliberately in danger in the hopes of saving himself or even his beloved country. His immediate reaction to Kaaki's announcement of bride exposing function is to stiffen up, she is going to get hurt he dreads it, he can't let that happen. He doesn't think oh wait someone will attack her then I will catch them all red handed brilliant idea Kaakisa.

I believe Rudra will keep his job but this isn't going to benefit Paro in terms of securing her safety. His job matters to Rudra, his country is important to him but Paro will become the most important thing in his life. He will be forced to marry her because he won't be able to get Thakur off her back, his gut instinct to always shield her that is what is going to force Rudra hand to claim Paro as his wife because her life, her safety all will become too precious for him even more important than his fear of marriage and commitment.

This is how much Rudra has bonded with Paro whether he accepts it or not his gut instinct is to assume Paro is on his side. Hence his quick reply to her come on woman think of an excuse, but Paro stumps poor Rudra. Paro knows Rudra well now too a glance at his face and she knows what she must do to piss him off, I wonder does she secretly enjoy Rudra staking his life for her. Paro baisa is quite the devil she likes being the damsel in distress all at the expense of poor Rudra bannna nerves. So well said Loveanime!!

All the bold points above are so insightful!!!

For me too first rain scene between Bhabhi and Devar didn't work out. Fell flat. Thakurain is surely expecting too much after a gap of 15 years!!! Wish she knows what devastation she left behind in the form of Rudra as well as Dilsher. Two broken men. One has grown up to be an embittered, totally damaged soul who will never find salvation in his mom. I seriously wonder why his mom left him. From what I have seen of Thakurain after her return to Chandangarh, she seems to have an air about herself. There is seriously some problem with her!!

Rudra unknowingly called names to his mom when he was talking to Aman about Tejawat's wife!! I too hope Rudra always has Aman to his side as he needs a friend like Aman in his life! That is the only happy point in Rudra's life at present.

About the steamy scene!! Uff, it got too hot!! Almost scorching! They are equals and slowly but surely coming together without realizing it!! Good to see Rudra also getting another salvation point in his life soon in the form of Paro, besides Aman. This shattered soul surely will need it even more after he meets up with his mom finally and that day Paro will realize all that Rudra was telling her before. Right now Paro is too wrapped up in herself and is going through life and situations mechanically though is unknowingly going through the change due to Rudra. Wake up Paro!!
