There is just something wrong with this woman, oh wait I know the word delusional she has no idea the man the son that is waiting for her at the other end, she thinks she will shed a few tears tell him how much she missed him and they will be one big happy family. If she wanted a teaser then she should have heard what Rudra told Aman regarding the wife of that Kamina Tejawat without even knowing who the woman was Rudra had pumped up the hatred meter. Grab some popcorn and lets wait for the big reveal he is going to bury her alive mommy or no mommy she is toast. Ok I won't rant about this character any more but she is just off putting and I know everyone thinks there is one big conspiracy behind all this but still don't like her from whatever we have seen so far.

The scene between Rudra and his mother highlights how desperately they are stuck in time holding on to a past that is long gone. Rudra just those eyes was enough for that boy to come back who wants his mother desperately, and his mother too is thinking of a happy child playing around who is going to embrace her the moment he sees her. Sadly for them the boy is long gone, and the pure image Rudra has of his mother is tainted, when they both face the realities of who the other is and how much has changed between them then the volcano will erupt.

I also laughed at Rudra scolding of Aman awww. Rudra does have a very dry sense of humor, is aman taking orders from god, no aman boy even if god himself came Major is your boss you better not cross him. I love how Aman takes it all in good stride and admires and respects Rudra. Rudra is superior in rank and has got trust issues but so far we don't see it with Aman. I hope these will two always be friends, brothers, coworkers, and colleagues. Rudra needs a sweet Aman, and Aman needs a tough teacher like Rudra they complement each other.

Ok now the highlight of the episode steamy interaction, wow Rudra entered with guns loaded firing from all barrels. See if Paro was truly repulsed by Rudra she would react to him the way she reacts to Sumer whenever he crosses her path. She would never let Sumer even get close to her neck before punching him the gut, but with Rudra even though she doesn't like it there is just something between them that keeps her rooted to the spot and she lets him have his way. She might not like it but she doesn't mind it either. Rudra too seesawing between playing the game and being honest, his expression after taking off the necklace was serious like why would I touch you he knows he is not a pervert and he was letting her know that. His expression at her bruised wrists were guilty he knows he was too rough and he felt bad. Ok bangle wearing scene is a classic Indian treasure a must in any show, points to writers for making this one unique in its own way because these type of scenes are done to death so nothing can shock you. What was unique in this scene is that Paro didn't fight back don't tell me she is afraid of her wrist getting cut like Rudra warned, it all goes back to her unsaid connection with him she doesn't like it but doesn't mind either she will let him have his way.

But when all is said and done when the dust settles only one truth remains he is her shield, he could have let her go his little seduction game was over, but instead he grabs her to place her behind him to show his spiteful Kaakisa to prove one final point that no one gets away with hurting his girl.

I am more and more believing this marriage with happen but on Rudra's terms and it won't be based on hate. Rudra wants to keep his job desperately what would be the most diabolical thing to do is to have Paro taken away by Tejawat and then catch him red handed in action, it is called luring the prey using a bait. Rudra being a military man should be aware of these basic war tactics. But Rudra never seems to consider this angle, never will he place her life deliberately in danger in the hopes of saving himself or even his beloved country. His immediate reaction to Kaaki's announcement of bride exposing function is to stiffen up, she is going to get hurt he dreads it, he can't let that happen. He doesn't think oh wait someone will attack her then I will catch them all red handed brilliant idea Kaakisa.

I believe Rudra will keep his job but this isn't going to benefit Paro in terms of securing her safety. His job matters to Rudra, his country is important to him but Paro will become the most important thing in his life. He will be forced to marry her because he won't be able to get Thakur off her back, his gut instinct to always shield her that is what is going to force Rudra hand to claim Paro as his wife because her life, her safety all will become too precious for him even more important than his fear of marriage and commitment.

This is how much Rudra has bonded with Paro whether he accepts it or not his gut instinct is to assume Paro is on his side. Hence his quick reply to her come on woman think of an excuse, but Paro stumps poor Rudra. Paro knows Rudra well now too a glance at his face and she knows what she must do to piss him off, I wonder does she secretly enjoy Rudra staking his life for her. Paro baisa is quite the devil she likes being the damsel in distress all at the expense of poor Rudra bannna nerves. His expression changes from surprise first at her defiance, then shock is she mad, concern at his helplessness at her stupidity and to anger damn these women I sure hate them. If the situation wasn't grave I would have had a hearty laugh, Rudra set such a good scene he had the upper hand, he even had a great come back but all his night's work wasted he is back to square one worrying about Paro life. I felt really bad for him he is fighting a lone battle trying to save a woman who doesn't want to be saved. I think Paro and Rudra have a signature word between them it is Rudra's incredulous 'kya' at Paro.

excellently said !👏👏

What a powerful, poignant moment!! And beautifully played by Ashish, who looked haunted by his sudden vision. Everything in this scene worked for me: the trench-coats, the line of cars, the simmering suspense, the surprise reveal, and the soul connect, before mother and child headed off yet again - in different directions.
After the rain came the steam: I'm referring, of course, to the beautiful PaRud meeting that was drenched in sensuality
What a truly scorching scene!! Some great screenplay here, matched by outstanding acting that brought alive the love-hate chemistry, the relentless seduction and the unwilling attraction of Paro and Rudra. Ashish, Sanaya and Team RR take a bow for this memorable Scene of the Day. 👏👏👏

Superbly written 👏

Aashish was outstanding in that scene with the thakurain. Brilliant direction and acting. (also agree that sadia was a bit flat throughout today).

And the paro rudra scene -- oh my. what can one say...it was perfection from start to finish. As scorching as you describe it! SI was looking out of this world beautiful. IImagine what Rudra would be feeling looking at her, touching her ever so lightly, and then not so lightly...

loved the gifting of the red bangles. beautiful touch to a superb scene :)

Clearly, the Thakurain blames Dilsher for the estrangement with her son, and thinks that a hug, a few tears and a chat will bridge the years. She has no clue that her son is no longer the boy she left behind, but an embittered, distrustful, half-savage man, for whom forgiveness is an alien impulse. And even less idea of the reception that awaits her. So perhaps it was for the best that she agreed to wait until the wedding was over, leaving a kada for Paro. Will Paro recognise it?

@pink -- I like what you said and agree with you! unsaid connection indeed.

@red - haven't seen this kind of scene before (except in IPK where it was a lil different) and loved it :)

Profound insights as usual, Loveanime. 👏
@ Kamina Thakur: Agreed. Mother has no clue what lies in wait.
@ Rudra and Aman: Yes a sweet friendship, a true brotherhood that Rudra particularly desperately needs to bring some normalcy back into his relationships.
@ Parud: Agreed. If it were Sumer coming close to Paro, he'd be singing falsetto before the necklace was unclasped. Also, at no point, but with his fingertips, did he touch her. And the fingers were primarily undoing the necklace.
@ Bangle scene: It probably was a clich with a twist, but I saw it more as a reprisal of a classic scene in another love-hate serial, where bangles that don't fit broke and a shard injured the heroine's wrist. The size of bangles is alluded to there too. And I thought this scene was a nod to that - that Rudra had got it right first time, and therefore was her prince.
@ Rudra the protector: It seemed to me a combination of both voluntary and involuntary. Yes to prove a point to Kakisa, but also because he couldn't help himself. And what of Paro's (non) reaction?
@ Marriage on Rudra's terms: I certainly hope, like you, that this won't be a hate marriage.
@ Dangling Paro as bait for Thakur: 👏👏 Yes indeed. He could have done that. But hasn't even thought of it...will only ever protect Paro, not endanger her. Very acute observation!!
@ Forced to marry Paro to shield her: Hmmm, I think he will still fool himself that it's to keep his witness close to him.
@ Assumes Paro is on his side: Yes he is also slightly nave re: Paro's feeling about her imprisonment, when for all he knows she will run at the first opportunity. Seems to have lost sight of the wood for the trees.
@ Kya: Hadn't noticed that so thanks for pointing it out. Will watch out for it from now on.

That scene between Rudra and Paro would have super heated steam.

And totally agree on the scene between Mala and Danveer. It fell flat and felt like she was going through the motions.

I find it hard to be sympathetic toward her right now. When she stands apart from her identity as Rudras mother, I really love her. A soft spoken loving wife blind to her husbands treachery, a mother figure to Paro. Despite all evidence pointing to her being Rudras mother. I had held on to a tiny bit of irrational hope that she wouldn't turn out to be his mother. I had hoped it was a red herring. What a rude awakening she's in for if she hopes a few tears will wash away the acidic poison flowing through her sons viens. I'm eagerly waiting for that day where they see each other, fully aware of who the other person is sans the protective veil of rain and fogged glass.

Thank you Niyoti. 😃 You are too kind.
PaRud were breathtakingly hot! 😳😃
Rudra's mother does not evoke much sympathy right now. Saadiya may need to settle into her role a bit, because the lines were great, but not her emoting.
Hmm, I'm not entirely sure that she's blind to her husband's crimes. I think she's on to something much more here. What else could justify abandoning husband and child (although she claims it was never her intention to abandon son)? At least I hope there's more to her running away because I would find it very difficult to empathise with her at all otherwise.

The first Danveer Thakuran scene fell falt for me, Sadia's dialogue delivery was not up to the mark.

The mom-son scene was much better ... the rain soaked night made an appropriate backdrop to the first meeting after fifteen years, and the look of desolate yearning in Rudra's eyes as the car drove away ... beautiful!

The PaRud scene ... exquisite! You said it ... the love-hate equation, the scorching chemistry, the relentless seduction and the beginning of reluctant attraction on both sides ... brilliantly portrayed by Sanaya and Ashish. The defiant Paro, trying not to melt, the softly seductive Rudra ... and then falling instantly into their now familiar roles of protector and protected when kaakisa made an appearance.

Thank you Diya. 😃 And for taking the time to comment.
It really was the look on Rudra's face when his eyes met his mother's and after she drove off that made the scene special. Ashish was inspired!!
PaRud as protector and protected, was just so heart-warming and special - a truly RR moment, like the heroine's dupatta/earring/gota etc getting caught in the hero's personal effects in another love-hate classic. And I'm sure we'll see many more takes of this classic RR stance.

Yes, the two scenes you wrote about here are the only stand-outs for me. However I am a bit curious why Rudra's mom wasn't as enthusiastic as I thought she would be after meeting her BIL and also having a chance meeting with Rudra on this rainy night?! Can't entirely blame Sadiya's dialogue delivery as we know she is a far better actress! Something just wasn't gelling right! Especially the blank expression on her face when she rolls down the car window after Rudra lets her go. Though a poignant scene. Didn't work that much effectively for me because of Sadiya. But kudos to Ashish all the way!!! He carried out that scene stunningly!! My eyes were locked on to him through out that scene!

The HOT scene was purely sensual, sizzling and brought out many finer shades in Rudra and Paro's relationship! Both are equals! If he knows how to rile her up then so does she! Yet, they trust each other unknowingly! Rudra's protective instincts get sharper around Paro!! Why do I feel that this protectiveness is not JUST the Witness Protection Program protectiveness?!!! It is much more than that and soon Rudra is in for a shock that the feeling is something different!! Well well we are sure for a great ride ahead!!

Mozart 🤗 Thank you!!!
@ Sadiya: Yes something was off last night during that first monologue. I hope it's a blip. As far as the mother-son eyelock goes, I buy Aman's explanation that she was too nervous and preoccupied, and she must have been thinking about her son's wedding, to have registered Rudra's presence. But Rudra, unlike her, was focused only on her car and hyperalert to everything about it. Ashish carried that scene entirely. His expression when first something clicked, when the stimuli of the voice and the eyes registered was amazing. Almost like someone walked over his grave.
@ Shades in PaRud's relationship: Agreed. Although Rudra has the advantage of sexual experience, he doesn't have any prior knowledge of love. And that's where the playing field becomes level. Because his response to Paro is much more than lust. It never has been lust. From Day One he has protected her first, and the physical attraction has been a by-product of their closeness. Only thing is that this essential difference from lust/manufactured lust is now hidden under many convenient layers. And when the veils drop is, as you say, when Rudra is in for a shock.

Thank you Dazee. 😃 Glad you enjoyed it.
Ashish carried that scene on his shoulders last night. And yes excellent direction.
@ Rudra touching Paro: 😳 Love the way you put it.
@ The red bangles: At first I thought they were a slightly cruel touch - gifting a widow red bangles, reminding her of everything she'd lost. Then it struck me that they were apt replacement for the bangles he broke when he threw her into the prison cell, eased ever so gently on to wrists that he had handcuffed before. And on the heels of that came the thought that they were actually a repayment in some small measure for her grief at his hands, a thin layer of salve for her wounds, a gift of hope for a fresh marriage, and the promise of a new life with much more to offer her in every way than the one before.
A beautiful touch indeed.

I know, Shreya, it seems strange to say the least that she thought it okay to take a 12/13 year old boy away from the man he has considered his father for so long and foist on to another man. The CVs had better give us proper justification for this. And no letter, no sit-down chats with the boy to prepare him for this impending upheaval in his life. What is the point of saying that she returned a month later to pick him up, but he wasn't there. What about all the months before? Curiouser and curiouser... I am intrigued, a little...
