Semanti comes to bury Rudra, not to praise him
The BDS(M) that men do lives after them,
The rasiya-ve is oft interred with their bones
So let it be with Rudra.
The noble Paro had told you
Rudra was cruel and wrong
If it were so, it was a grievous fault.
And grievously had Rudra answered it.
Here, underwearing Paro and the rest.
For Paro, is an honorable woman.
And so are they all.
All (Laila tsk tsk) honorable women.

IMO, Rudra : Honorable :: Mohini : Polite 😆

Whoops. I forgot to reply to your Brutus-Rudra-Caesar wala triangle.
As though Rudra-Paro-Laila and Dilsher-Mala-Tejawat weren't enough.

Kal ka homoerotic tension is aaj ka heterosexual love-hate story?

Take a bow yaara! (and Cvs)

People need to stop justifying every thing the male lead does yaar.

Tomorrow, if he comes drunk and angry and abuses Paro, will you still say it was his rage?

FLS, 👍🏼

I am not disappointed in the serial as much as I am disappointed in me, why do I nurse such expectations? I am always let down, I feel I wasted 30 minutes and I waited for this not doing so many other more important things. I agree no one asked me to but, people like me make the audience that in turn make the serial and again I make a bad one.

Honour, pride and yada...yada...is just that mere words...

It is fiction and all but please do a fair job and don't reduce the content into a bucket of goo, respect your audience and if we are saying this so soon, then CVs need to get a reality check and fast.

but i dont think it is right on the part of the makers to show an officer blackmail a civilian into marriage to get her sign the confession
the only end the makers have in mind is to have the contract marriage , they dont care about the story line of how they react this end
i find it irresponsible
@semati
i have an army background , probably the reason i dont see it as just a character
edited that part

hola P,

i know what you are saying. My pathi dev's family is a group of Army Devotees. I can see the sense of propriety.

But, this is hardly a well researched drama in the ilk of say Homeland or House of Cards, both of which are eerily similar to real life happenings in CIA and Congress respectively.

To the kostin of Rudra being honorable - it depends on his social and military conditioning. What he has been taught and brainwashed to believe. He thinks he is hold the torch for honor, while as civilians we see human rights violations.

I don't think Rudra's actions are honorable - my personal opinion. But when one deals with terrorist suspects and traitors, as he seems to believe Paro is, armed forces of any country is known to use emotional tactics. Guantanamo, anyone?

and now i am mad at you Sem, for pulling me into analysis-paralysis with your sensible kostins. i am shutting up.
