Maithili is as big a wimp as her hubby ... maajisa is okay with Paro, so Maithili can talk to her again. 😡

Paro had started to trust Rudra ... but he let her down big time today. I hope she fights back tomorrow ... that's the only thing that will cool me down ... I am mad at him today. He used a situation created by his wicked kaaki to his advantage ... why can't the man think and do something for himself?!

Let's see how he handles Paro tomorrow ... and how Paro handles him 😳 Collar grabbing and all 😛

Yes, hoping Paro gives Rudra a good fight even if she is left with no option in the end. Just a day before Rudra held her hand and told her gently that she can turn to him for anything and next day he gave her an ultimatum. Yes, he is also desperate to clear his name but what a shock to Paro who knows nothing.

The CO was right about Rudra, he is brave but when provoked he loses his head and acts rashly. If only he had not killed Varun's unarmed kaka when the old man was begging for his life, today he would have a credible witness. He is paying for his hot head and Paro too will suffer with him.
Waiting to see where the creatives take the story from here.

Lovely take as always.
I guess the marriage will not happen as that will be suicidal to the show. As you said Ashish is doing his job well, i hated Rudra yesterday, am waiting to watch how Paro fights back..

Hi Diya,
I see a lot of discussion about Rudra's behavior on the forum, and rightly so, you know where I feel the disconnect starts is you have this Rudra who is hell bent on scaring the living day lights out of Paro and intent on making her submit to his demand by sheer intimidation and appropriate blackmail thereby saving his own ass even while he has admitted to himself that she is innocent then you hv that Rudra who showed glimpses of compassion and tenderness in the recent episodes gone by. Something does not quite match up. I might be the only one but they should hv kept to the ruthless Rudra because that would hv established his character as that... Now It's almost like he can switch back and forth between this normal as he can be given his own situation and this monster he can flip a switch and morph into. Let's face it, he is a troubled, flawed and emotionally damaged individual who like his senior officer said is rash. And now that his only real identity is under threat, his worst is coming out. You can judge a person by how they handle adversity. Paro is holding up admirably the same cannot be said about Rudra, even though he is supposed to be an officer oft he law and by definition an honorable man. May be that is how they intend to establish his character and show his flaws.

Sure he saved her honor numerous times and has even saved her life by keeping her in his haveli. But does that justify this blackmail? No way. So the best thing is to accept that he is flawed, and Paro is caught in this unfortunate whirlpool and has been reduced to a mere pawn between more powerful people. Could he have saved her by other means? Possibly. But widow or not, criminal or not, Paro is first a human being and deserves to be treated as one. One right does not justify ten other wrongs.

This goes to show, that more often than not those that need protection and a voice are the ones who rarely get it.

Loved your post!! And yes, Rudra is schizophrenic in his behaviour and that's been my problem with him as well.

Lovely post, Diya! Missed you today.

And great points, Rudra is at his wits end, and will try anything now to hold on to the best part of his life as he knows it, his identity as he thinks it. And what poetic justice if he were to lose it all through Paro as she did - lost her life as she knew it, her identity as she thought it - through him. Will he be able to rebuild his life with the scraps that will remain as Paro has done?

It's easy for us viewers to scream at Paro to wake up and grow a brain, but that's because we know what she doesn't. And we are not in the same position as her - clinging on to her certainties about the people she grew up with, in a world gone topsy-turvy. Take away that anchor, and she is completely adrift. And for what? For a man whom she has seen killing her husband?

For all that I can see Paro's point of view now. It is Rudra's sorry fate that tugs at my heart-strings just now. Looks like lose-lose to me, whichever angle I take.

Thanks tvbug 😃
It's lose-lose for both of them at this point, but when Rudra's motives seem selfish and self-serving, then I cannot feel sorry for him. He is at ground zero right now ... rock bottom, but a lot of his situation is due to his own high handed actions and his prejudices, not to mention an very badly thought out plan of action ... his tragic attack on the baraat, where he managed to wipe out all the possible witnesses, and saved only the true innocent.

Ironically Paro was at such a point a few days ago, and she has started to rise, with her own strength and his help. It's time for Rudra to do the same ... but we will see his black despair and rage first ... the unpleasant part is that it will be centred on Paro ... whom we know to be innocent.

To all ... thanks for replying and for the very heated engaging discussions here ... be back later.

it seems with the track or the show itself now walking in muddy waters of all other saas-bahu kitchen politics show our dearest diya's WU have come down from the dreamy eyes of paro to kakisa's kitchen politics.
anyway as usual amazing how much time you give to the forum which is like 10-12 hrs?

I think Rudra is just threatening Paro but she may call his bluff😆
Because she truly does not know anything. Of all the people he could have captured in that Baarat, he picks the only innocent one😆 Boy does he have bad luck or what?

Anyway I don't think this marriage is happening... If it's true that tejawat's men are looking for Paro , the Scenario may be that Paro tries to escape and runs into his men or thakurain's men..or may be into Nandini...who knows..but I think this will lead to one on their misunderstandings getting cleared up. ...after 3 months ...of course.😉

I like the way you put it ... Rudra killed the people in the baraat, all of whom were guilty and knew it, and saved the only innocent person 😆... so well done to him on that front.

BUT he was supposed to get evidence against Tejawat, that was his original brief ... and he failed rather spectacularly in that aim.

I hope the marriage doesn't happen ... at least not till one or the other has some inkling of the truth. But if the cvs have to have the two staying under one roof, it will happen. Which is crazy, because currently no one wants the marriage, neither Rudra, Paro or Mohini 😆
