Rudra is using the saying...'jab jor jabardasti nah kam aaye toh narmi se kaam loh' coz I believe he said to aman Paro will tell the truth soon...in the process he is falling for her no doubt 😊
Paro is playing along to save her folks but she too will soon start caring for her would be sasur sa😊

Its not surprising at all, from the first scene PaRud was in Rudra has been drawn towards her, remember the way he looked at her when he heard she is getting married or the way he looked at her while saving her the first time where they had no previous connection at all, or in the wedding when he bumped into her, the way he softened...? the foundation has been laid in the narrative from Rudra's side even before the whole BSD/witness connection.

Also he isn't alway soft or too caring etc, not when she is awake then he is abrupt...its just that when she is asleep or not aware of him he lets his guard down a bit or shall we say starts to notice her innocence and almost naive demeanour and even then as we can see he is awkward, because as somebody mentioned he knows how to handle someone like Laila but not someone like Paro, actually both the father and son are like that towards her; since the father also keeps asking her whether she is cunning or just that naive/innocent in life.

And we saw the change in dialogue where he used to call her his suspect but now refers to her as a witness, therefore in Rudra's eyes somewhat decreasing her level of 'betrayal'

Just the previous night he made her sleep on the floor and taunted her that she would go to hell etc.. It's the developing feelings part that I don't agree with.. It's too soon.. They are showing that innocence and beauty is melting his heart I get that but then it's run of the mill then.. Every show has the hero being especially affected by the heroines tears alone!

What's different here.. They should have retained the gruffness in him.. He can be helpful to her.. But not tender and romantic!

Youre right in a way. They haven't shown enough of scenes as a build up to this. The only communications between the two were the few sentences that she spoke bravely. we need some more small incidents (like you said...him seeing her care for his father). He hasnt seen the babasa/paro duo. only we have. It makes all the difference.

I do not think its odd. If he behaved like this while she is awake then its odd. A persons real character comes out when he is alone. I think Rudra is by default of caring nature and will always be. But towards people he may act in differently. See the example of his relationship with his father. There is no doubt that he loves his father but act bitterly and brutal when he is around.
Paro - Rudra relationship is still in budding stage. Paro is like a delicate and fragile angel and Rudra has always been protective about her. So the sympathy factor is slowly gaining momentum. Somewhere a small window has opened creating a small ripple in Rudra's heart. Def not love yet! Just a small decrease in the hatred. Mostly i felt he is just curious at her and may be physical attraction. But no feeling that can be called as love yet!

Rudra is not evil or animal by nature. He is a human being who don't trust beautiful women or as a matter of fact anyone because of his past.

Rudra has a heart which he has concealed from the world. We can see its glimpses in his interactions with his father. He definitely loves his father though his way of showing love is crude and gruff.

Rudra's heart always takes over his head whenever he sees Paro in pain ( as a matter of fact I think he will help anyone who is in need. I his first encounter with Paro he was protecting Paro then a stranger to him. He for one I think cannot see anyone in pain or cannot stand any injustice). It is more now seen in case of Paro because they are literally living together. So far Rudra has always lived alone or with his father ( whom he loves very much which we can see). BUt now Rudra and Paro are bound together by destiny.

He doesn't refer to Paro as a criminal he refers her as a witness. There is vast difference.

His care for Paro was evident both when Paro is awake ( during the bike ride scene) as well as when she is sleeping ( in the hospital scene as well yesterday's episode). But the way of showing the care is so different in both the cases. While we see his rough nature during the first scene we witness his tenderness when Paro is sleeping.

I totally agree... I felt the same way... getting unwittingly attracted or being conscious of a beautiful woman is completely different to the level of regard/conscious care which was portrayed in that scene...as earlier 2 are unconscious reactions ..but regard needs to be based in trust and respect..

Please don't take me wrong guys... Ashish is great actor..easy on eye and it was a lovely scene but would have been great if it fit the storyline and respective characters stands...

I don't know if attributing tenderness is true to Rudra's character ... it does not stick.. if you know what I mean... life has served him such a blow..its made him a cynic, harsh and unyielding...tenderness has no place in his life.

And no foundation was laid..he thinks she is guilty..now the BSD are going to investigate him..should that not make him angrier..instead he was almost feeling her pain!
At the hospital it was spontaneous..it wasn't care..she was having a nightmare and he reacted!
The physical caring is ok..that he should have helped her as soon as they reached that room..so that hr foot heals quickly..him seeing her asleep and carrying her to the bed...that's not how a hardened army major behaves with his prisoner surely??
That's why I mentioned that if he had come to know that she helped his dad atleast then it was ok..like he cut the ropes binding her hands immediately after his father mentioned that she made food for him,.no tenderness there...just a reaction.
Even paro asking him why he is angry was out of place...if they want to stick to the army background story for a while that is...if the story ahead is taking a different turn then it's fine!

His he really a hardened Major though?????? lets not forget that Rudra was a happy child till his mother left. I feel that he is not bad person he fights for the truth and am sure deep down if she is hurt he would want to protect her... we might say that the scene looks romantic, but to me he looked really awkward whilst helping her last night.. to me it showed more of Rudra Character, Rather than Romance

I see what you're saying, but I didnt' feel it was that odd...he's been in the same room - consciously ... for just a few days, like when he was awkwardly aware of her as she slept in the Haveli the other night...and the sui dhaga...so the awareness has been rising...but then he was always protective of her. Instinctively I think, for many many reasons... but at base, its really about the contradictions of human emotions. There's rarely any list one methodically ticks off, and oen responds at various levels consciously or unconsciously. Such is the mystery of what's happening to him, but I dont think its love yet at all... jsut caring and that too in the privacy of total aloneness...no one sees it, not even she. I thought it was a lovely scene 😳

Also, his tough exterior hides a deep deep vulnerability. I think...his inside is as confused and vulnerable as it was when he was a child...the bluster on the exterior and the dare-devilry is carefully cultivated to give control and meaning to a life that is till stuck in the blackhole of an abandonment for which he has no answers, no explanation no understanding... in that sense he is on a "khoj" still, to make sense of what happened to him.

if he loves, really loves, it will be total; and then if he is betrayed...God forbid...he will destroy and annihilate all, even himself. especially himself.
