Lovely post, as always.

Absolutely loved Lesson # 8. Just one query: Shouldn't it be an Enfield rather than an Harley? On an aside, I was impressed by the fact that the registration number of the bike that was blown up in the desert when he first rescued her was not the same as that of the one that he has ridden (before or...) since.

Thanks. 😊
Nice one - re: Lesson #11.
Harley definitely if you are speaking figuratively, as I was.
But you want to be literal then Enfield (if you say it is).But what then of the Yamaha?
Can't say I'd noticed that they hadn't used a diff reg plate, but if that is the case, then am seriously impressed.

If figuratively, yes. It's rare that you would find a bike aficionado preferring an Enfield over a Harley. But, I was wondering if the patriotic Major expressed a preference for the Indian-made Enfield (and also because it might be standard issue for the forces at the border) over a foreign-made Harley.

Re Yamaha -- isn't she the one who also likes to call the tune in her household? That fits right into Yamaha's product profile.

Re reg plates, when he is first shown, he is shown with the bike bearing the same plates as the one he currently uses (RJ 15 SB 1882). But, when they showed him heading towards Birpur the day that Paro was returning from her trousseau-shopping trip, he rode another bike / a bike with another registration plate (RJ 15 SB 3777). Since that day (I may have been less vigilant than I should have in order to make such an assertion), I haven't seen that registration plate being used.

Lovely post, great analysis!!! 👏
Kaakisa struck back ... Rudra won the first skirmish, now lost the next battle ... he will be back, the war is not yet over.

Then there were the PaRud moments: Rudra starting a slow burn, arm around Paro's waist, pulling Paro in snug to him, as he led her out of the haveli. Interesting that Rudra carried Paro in over the threshold, and he still half-carried her out.
Another sweet moment was when Paro cools Rudra's seething fury with her calm "why are you angry now?" A pointer to the way forward in their relationship, as Paro's cool rain will douse his hot temper. It was touching to see Rudra care enough for Paro, inspite of his anger, to ensure that she wears a helmet and rides safely. The bike mounting lesson...umm...definitely caught my eye, much as it glued Rudra's gaze to the mirror.😆 And ensuring she held on to him, just confirmed my feeling that he really doesn't mind her hands on him.

PaRud moments stole the day today ... Paro with her calm common sense, can see right through Rudra's anger ... a portent of the future ... she will be there to calm him ... like gentle rain on angry fire. And his rage will get tempered into slow petulance and simmer down ... she is a strong woman, she can take his rage onto herself and temper it down. And Rudra may bluster and roar, but he will never let go his role as Paro's protector.

Of course, the fact that he can't keep his eyes ... and hands ... off her, is an added bonus 😆

@Bold: Yesterday reminded me of the second in the original Star Wars trilogy - The Empire Strikes Back. Waiting for the Return of the Jallad! 😆
@Strong woman: Yes she has a core of steel, tempered by all the tragedies that have been her life. She is intrinsically strong, she'd have to be to be able to not carry a chip on her shoulder, the way Rudra does. It's just that her strength has never been tested before. And Rudra, a loving son, has depths of love that have never been tapped before. His will be a love worth waiting for.
@Hands on: I say, bring it on CVs, we can take it! 😆
