Good on you Sunara.
Fantastic post. 👏👏👏👏👏
It has been a much needed one.
To turn around and say things about Sanaya's clothes all the time.
For goodness sake people if you have a problem don't watch the show. You can always use a remote control and change the channel to watch whatever you choose.
I for one am loving Sanaya's outfits but for people to say they are not based on reality. Have they been to India lately?
What Sanaya is wearing is based on reality.
I totally agree with post and in fact I am going to bookmark this so if there is ever any more posts on Sanaya's clothes I am going to add this link and tell the people to read this before they start that discussion all over again.
Well done.

It's okay if someone's criticizing her outfit. They have as much right to criticize. Some may like it, some may not. I don't like the way she puts her dupatta on. It's seems as if it's there just for the heck of it. What's the point of it? Why just give her any dupatta? And please before you judge me and say I have narrow thinking or I'm moral policing, let my clear myself. She can wear shorts and I won't question as long as it goes with the flow and doesn't look out of place. I thought this is a forum and I can have my opinion without getting judged and getting name-called. That "internet mommies" comment was uncalled for. No one questions when there are so many appreciation, fan-girling, drooling posts on her but there's a problem if someone doesn't like her costumes?

some people r abusing twitter and even posted here that sanaya is being abused - the internet mummies r those..
and if u see i have 3 separate points. 1st 1 the condescending 1 is actually is for those such people..

u have a personal dislike to the dupatta. which is no problem at all. but if the reason is 'sanaya being forced to wear such stuff' then the mummies comment applies..
did u read the last 2-3 lines?

people actually have the audacity to tell a tv show with main lead wearing such clothes will get girls molested/raped..
now hope u get why sm of us r angry..

@red - there has been abt 50 of such posts within a month.. n each 1 was allowed to remain open. so if its the case, my post with an opposing view is also my right to post isn't it?
cz i have nowhere asked any1 to not post.
simply questioned some double standards i have been seeing around..

hope it didn't offend u..

What is the need for such a condescending post..this is a forum and people will have different opinions.

Everyone who does not like her outfit is not insinuating that she is being exploited

Everyone who does not like her outfit is not insinuating that she is unnecessarily exposing and is looking vulgar

Everyone who does not like her outfit is not insinuating that if women wear such clothes they are inviting rape.

There might be much simpler reasons for not liking her outfits.

Everyone and their families has different sensibilities...how do you know that people are coming with some agenda if they are saying it is not possible for them to watch with their families. This forum has women (and some men ofcourse) from all age groups, nationalities and walks of life. How can you be so sure that it is fine for each one of them.

Ultimately its upto the PH and the actress what she wants to wear. But why stop people from posting their opinion if its not derogatory to anyone.

Since this post is made in this forum, I would talk only about this forum and there's no need to judge. Sanaya is a celeb whereas members are not. If Sanaya gets criticized, name-called it won't be a big deal because it's all a part and parcel of their job but it's not the same for members!

And I didn't read the entire post. I didn't need to neither could I read any further. Your tone itself kinda offended me and scared me if you ask.

You have every right to make a post on opposing views but not to judge and name-call.
You're one of the sincere and understanding members around here. So, this post coming from you kinda shocked me!

thanks for this.
I recently found this about rajisthani women in this on a site about tribal women in Rajisthan villages.

You can clearly see short cholis with waist exposed. All part of the norm there.

In all this, I think Sanaya looks gorgeous and love seeing her.

I have no problem with criticism but lets don't mix fictions with reality by saying woman are the reason of getting rapped because of there dressing sense it's just a bad taste.

I wish they open her dupatta abit more from the front I don't like how it's looking at all.

Great work sunara. I saw one post yesterday and thought if someone could reply to it point by point. You have compiled it very well. Appreciate the time and effort. I really like her look in rangrasiya. Brings out the sexiness inherent in traditional clothing. But calling it exposure never crossed my mind. This much we all expose when we wear a sari!
