Rudra's plan was a colossal failure, he lost all the advantage he gained on Thakur and Paro is now more hostile to him than before. So, CVs let us know that Paro did get spotted by Thakur's men and promptly the news reached him. Thaurayan's expressions on hearing Chandangadh indicates a history with that place.
Rudra got a earful from his CO and rightfully so, his brawn over brain methods are not yielding any results. He clearly underestimated Paro, who everyone thinks is a "bewakoof".
Today Paro made it clear why she returned and she has no plan as to how she will confront the challenges she is facing, but face them she will. Her Bolenath has blessed her resolve. Her brief conversation with God asking for strength and her determination not to cry seemed to be addressed to some forum members to who had already signed her off as a cry baby 😉
Highlights were the Rudra-Paro scene and the roti making one. Sanaya and Ashish are awesome when they come together onscreen. Paro's calm yet determined tone and Rudra barely able to restrain his anger from boiling over was well done and is the essence of their characters. Diya, your title is apt, both feel they stand on solid ground and will refuse to give an inch. Interesting times ahead.
Dilsher and Paro scene was also very telling. Dilsher is hurting and wracked with insecurities regarding his wife's abandonment, but he still has a sympathetic heart and is not against all women folk. His outbursts are his way of coping with his losses and betrayal. Unlike most in the forum I don't think his marriage suggestion to Rudra is any kind of approval of Paro, it was more of his taunt or sarcasm with Rudra. He knows how Rudra treats and thinks about Paro, it was one of his jabs, after all the son-father are each other's punching bags.
Finally can't stop enjoying the Ranawat brothers' spicy comebacks to the masala kaki, who seems very agitated about the prospect of giving a share of the property to Rudra and Dilsher.
Next week looks interesting, promo shows Paro will be outed and family will assume the pant wearing Paro baisa as Rudra's wife. So, the MU is created by Dilsher (despite refusing, he has involuntarliy become part of Rudra's WPP 😆). Masala kaki will be in a tizzy!! 😆
Lovely analysis, U! Yes, Rudra has come out of the encounter looking rather inept ... he is in danger of allowing his prejudice against beautiful women, and his hurt pride at being bested by one, take over his better judgement.
ROFL ... forum members had written her off as a cry baby ... some people are either way too judgemental or just way too fond of finding fault!! 😉
The PaRud scene was awesome ... showed a lot about their characters ... very well delineated and brilliantly acted ... Paro scared and timid, yet taking her newly found courage and resolve in her hands and facing the monster ... Rudra, smarting from being bested ... he can't believe that this meek girl can dare to answer him back ... the way he fell back, when she yells for the first time 'kahan jaati?! You left me nowhere to go!'
There is no hint of attraction here, no eyelocks or any hint of romance ... two very different people caught in circumstances and reacting to them ... very powerful scene!!!
I loved the Dilsher-Paro scene too ... very telling, very subtle play of emotions there ... both actors again excellent ... the actor playing Dilsher is wonderful! He will be Paro's support, but will also be a mirror for her to face her feelings, ask her awkward questions ... and be her shield against the rest of the family, especially the toxic kaaki. Rudra will be required to handle Sumer, though.
Next week looks very interesting ... Dilsher declares Paro his bahu ... how will the family react? Kaaka-sa has seen Paro in custody. 😕
More importantly, how will Rudra react?
And will his intelligence inform him that Thakur knows Paro is alive? That might have a bearing on his reaction.
Can't wait for next week ... so much is happening now!
