How will that gentle soul love this damaged man? the killer of her husband?
But I too was struck by the dialogue quoted below: Gaddari ki saza maut. shudder. Was that a foretelling of the dark future that awaits their relationship? So Otheloesque.
He's gone out of his way to save her life, keep her alive, even conquer her death...but there might come a day when his indescribable insecurity, his insane suspicion, of some tragically planted deception, will make him come full circle and then will gaddari ki saza be maut for the one he cares for the most???
Or will her love -- which may eventually arise -- tame him? Make him human, heal the stifling possessiveness and allow him to rise above his terrible demons?
Really wanted to see a bit of gentleness, a calming down...some semblance of normalcy in him...but he's not a man to let his guards down, at least not just yet.. she/the circumstances have stirred up a storm in his life that he knows not what to do with.

Ok, so, I watched it! The dialogue that kind of stayed with me, though was when Rudra says Gaddari ki saza maut hai! Was that a dialogue only applicable to that particular scenario or was this some sort of a warning, or premonition of sorts, an indication as to how Rudra treats betrayal-does the belief apply to the situation with Paro, in future?-was what it made me wonder(Blame the Othello angle for such overactive imagination)!
Rudra is never going to, completely heal himself! His wounds run too deep for that! They will stay with him in the form of ridiculous insecurities, unbelivevable possessiveness! You said it perfectly-his love will be possessive & stifling! Paro has her work cut out for her!I'd thought it was just me, but they have made a shift from 'tum' to 'aap' in the way Paro addresses Rudra-it may be a small thing, but I'd like to ask the CVs if I get a chance, as to which woman would address her husband's murderer(in her view) with that much respect! It irked me & I had to get it out of my system! You've done quite well with this post, in terms of explaining Rudra's psyche!
