Beautiful analysis Eveline...
You have exactly reflected Rudra's inner feelings here...
I loved today's episode as I saw the promises of the new beginnings today...and not to mention wonderful dialogues...

Yes, the writers here are out of this world (not me though, I ramble mostly) and they add so much worth to the show!!

As I see it, Paro is way more stronger than Rudra. Apparently she is timid, helpless, vulnerable but exactly the opposite is true. Rudra is the needy one here, the one that needs rescuing...

Nope, don't be humble you write beautifully and I still remember your post on Paro's eyes and how they give a peek into her thoughts.

Right you are and the episodes now are showing exactly that. Though Paro seems weak, mostly due to the sudden downward spiralling her life, she is the stronger of the two and will help him eventually to give up a lot of his emotional baggage from the past. It's these contrasts that the lead characters are both portraying which is fascinating.
Would like to read your take on Paro so far too, as you have an ability to see nuances and convey them so effectively.

👏 Beautifully written. Wonderful portrayal of Rudra's inner most feelings. I felt more sorry for Rudra than Paro today. And I officially hate "that aurat". She is pure evil...

That aurat..holds the key to Rudra's happiness!! And yes Rudra needs understanding, love and help more desperately than Paro!!

Wonderful dialogues and awesome actors...these scenes would never inspire such writings if these two were not so superlative 😊

hey..you are so good for my ego!!😆 And I have not forgotten my promise!!
About Paro she seems to be at an emotional plateau for now...more stable than she ever was in the show till now. She has come to terms with her losses, accepted her plight and now is more or less focused on getting out of his clutches. She is one hell of a determined female, although helpless, she is resourceful. Waiting for the time when her focus shifts from herself to Rudra...now that will be a treat to watch and talk about!!

How heart wrenching...how cruel!! Such a poignant reminder that how important a mother can be in a child's life. How can a child ever cope with the fact that his mother didn't love him enough to stay ...that he was not worth her loyalty. How can an innocent ever overcome the bitter truth that he/she was abandoned by the one who supposed loves unconditionally. Was he that bad, that unwanted?? Rudra's scars are so deep..and the extent of his father's injuries is another matter altogether.

As you so beautifully pointed out, his mothers actions have left his life broken in three different dimensions...the before, the vacuum and the after...

@Bold: It's perfect, couldn't have labeled it better😊

Also regarding the scene where he said he hadn't killed innocent people spoke volumes. Rudra is a soldier. We assume that it's so easy for them to pick up a gun and just shoot. I suppose it is, when you build up enough hatred and view the the target as an enemy and nothing else. But there is bound to a point in a soldiers life where at least once they would've humanized a target, would have wondered if they had a family or children and i think that's when every human life starts weighing on them. In spite of this they soldier on, because there are scores more wrong doers that need eliminating.

So Paro's steadfast belief that he'd killed innocents must have rankled somewhere deep, hence the outburst.

I also like the sheepish, slightly embarrassed expression on his face when he realized he'd gotten the dabba of atta. For a second there it almost created an illusion that Paro was his guest and he as a host had to provide for her.

When he cracked the joke about his hot tempered Masi/Kaki it gave a sense of him including Paro in an inside joke.

I don't think there'll be a sudden "o my god i love you woman" moment with Rudra. He'll first have to view paro as innocent then the development of a sense of respect and then probably his recognition that she's a beautiful strong loyal woman and hey that doesn't have to mean bad juju😆

Ok, so, I watched it! The dialogue that kind of stayed with me, though was when Rudra says Gaddari ki saza maut hai! Was that a dialogue only applicable to that particular scenario or was this some sort of a warning, or premonition of sorts, an indication as to how Rudra treats betrayal-does the belief apply to the situation with Paro, in future?-was what it made me wonder(Blame the Othello angle for such overactive imagination)!
Rudra is never going to, completely heal himself! His wounds run too deep for that! They will stay with him in the form of ridiculous insecurities, unbelivevable possessiveness! You said it perfectly-his love will be possessive & stifling! Paro has her work cut out for her!
I'd thought it was just me, but they have made a shift from 'tum' to 'aap' in the way Paro addresses Rudra-it may be a small thing, but I'd like to ask the CVs if I get a chance, as to which woman would address her husband's murderer(in her view) with that much respect! It irked me & I had to get it out of my system!
You've done quite well with this post, in terms of explaining Rudra's psyche!

@niyoti...great that you mention the soldiers psyche here. I have wondered multiple times before and lately quite frequently about how do they justify their actions to themselves. Obviously a lot of training, especially on the emotional front, is needed for such men. And trying to prove themselves less of killers in the eyes of a common bystander can be a daunting task. Rudra here is filled with a need to make her see that he is not a discriminate killer. He wants her to understand and respect him at some level. Today is the first time I heard a personal agenda in his conversation. It felt for a moment he cares more about his reputation. I have already made a post on that epic scene and his adorable reaction 😆!!
And why Rudra, all men in a way, need to understand and respect the women first and then only can they fall in love. There can be no love without respect !!

You picked that up too!! The Othello lover in me was quite happy to hear that. But if and when that happens (and I seriously doubt that knowing this is an indian telly show n all)its a looong way off. So far now he remains the protector and not the destroyer..phew!!
Children seldom come out from their abused past. It stays with them in one way or another. In form of extreme rage or melancholy, fear or insecurities, self doubts or lack of trust...they never fully come out it.
And I was not so perceptive in the aap and tum angle but what I felt was that she was trying to be nice with him...masking her inner hatred...trying to wrangle a release from him...a hint of manipulation..trying to butter him up here I guess!!
