I totally agree with you on this.
I am someone who lives abroad who watches this show because it is offering something different and because of me my dad was also watching which in itself is a shock.
So if this show has managed to pull my father into knowing about it (who mostly only watches religious shows or the news) then it is going to take some time for TRP aunties to like it.
I agree that it has only been 3 weeks of the show yet and we are not going instantly become number 1. Thinking like that is absurd. Only time will tell.
I for one am looking forward to the CV's showing the story the way they probably already have written.
Hope they don't come under pressure and tell the story the way it was suppose to.

Thank you for this much needed voice of reason. If we are invested in this show the makers and channel are even more so and they will do what is best for it. Seeing the buzz here, I feel the show is doing something right to enthuse so many people to come here and write and participate in discussions. For once I want the creative's to tell their story the way they envisaged it without interference from different quarters. I too believe it is early days to press the panic button.

An important addition, the channel and Dish TV dispute has led to the drop in all Colors shows numbers, so let us not discount some of these practical issues and put all the blame on doorsteps of Nautanki films.

Thank you.

At bold - ditto.

The intensity is the essence of this story, if it gets the diluted then the essence will be lost. And I feel the show was perfectly paced as they couldn't rush through any of these things.

Well said! Great post.
As for the TRPs, I agree, it really is too early to worry. I for one am sanguine and just really enjoying the show.

Thank you.

Me too.

I was not at all worried about the TRP 😊

This show is amazing & has got very good review from the industry 👏

Every show takes its time. Plus this show is in a very competitive slot. There are other shows which are way established & have a dedicated fan following plus TRP aunties loyalties 😳

Even shows like Jodha Akbar, Mahanbharat, etc started with very low points. Also pyar ka Dard had languished in the bottom part of TRP ladder for months until it started to climb up. 😃 They all are top shows at the moment.👍🏼

Hope the makers continue the good work. TRP will surely follow. 😊

Hence for us the best thing is to chill & watch. 😳

I however am not a contributing factor at all as I stay outside India. 😊

Thank you.

You have made some very good points.

I am not TRP contributor either. However, all viewers contribute in some way. 😳

The story is about Rudra and Paro, their love-hate relationship, the obstacles in their way (Laila, Thakur), how they get past it and fall in love and their journey together. The writers barely got into the real story the first couple of weeks...now that they are getting into it, focusing on the lead characters, it is reflecting in the TRPs, which were steadily rising all week. Judging by the new promo, we are in for another great week.

Great post Fari, very well said!!

Thanks Priyanka.

Completely agree.

Great Post 👏 👍🏼
The TRPs are not worth worrying about if you truly enjoy watching the show
Which I do 😃
I think the show's great and one of its kind
Moreover it is the job of CVs and PH to worry about the TRPs 😆
