Great post Diya. Today both Ashish and Sanaya were fantastic for me. Even Tarun was excellent in his all Evil character. Just Perfect. For me cherry on the top was this scene Rudra placed himself right in front of Paro blocking Thakur from reaching to her was just Awesome 😉.

No yaar..just for fun I used your username 😛

I was actually thinking about writing all that you wrote...coincidence!

I am liking Sanaya, Ashish and Tarun Khanna's acting.

As for the serial, I think I will be honest - it has just started and when Paro and Rudra's story exclusively will start, that's when I will be more into it.
Going by the latest promo, it does seem that woh din door nahin 😊

🤗

I know what you mean S, I will also get more invested in the show when Paro and Rudra's story is the main focus...which will hopefully be next week...the promo looks so amazing, their chemistry is off the charts I think!! Today the men were so fierce and Paro's dejected reaction after being denied by Mami was so heartbreaking. Such great acting from all 3 actors, so proud of Sanaya for making an impact with her subtle acting between all that testosterone!

I watched the episode now and when it was finished ... my reaction was - finished so early??? It was such a power-packed episode! Enjoyed every bit of it.

The most commendable part of today's episode was as many in this forum have mentioned in their posts -- the acting by the leads. Ashish and Tarun Khanna were, as if, fighting with all their strength to win a competition. They were brilliant. In fact the whole face off scene with dialogues and acting went superb! And Sanaya's avatar expressed all, surprize, shock, pain, helplessness and at one point, indifference to life - when she raised her hands for handcuff.

Great post, Diya.. loved it!

Truth be said then its only now that the stage is set. There is someone wronged, someone scorned and someone abandoned. Rudra cares for Paro in his own twisted, consuming way; but there's no denying that he does. It was a fantastic episode with the big three enacting wonderfully!!

Rudra tries logic with the Birpur residents ... why have none of your daughters ever come back home? For any festival, any mourning, any celebration ...

I was actually impressed that he;d done his homework on this -- 17 years, one every year, no one has ever returned; that maisa brought paro up as a mother...good attention to detail by the writers

It seemed to me that Paro was the only one registering his words, absorbing them ... Agree!

Face off between the Thakur and Rudra ... zinging one liners between the ice cold serpent and the raging young officer ... Thakur warns Rudra ...'make sure your blood does not boil so much that your dimaag evaporates in the steam and disappears.' Good warning, actually ... 😛 and very good scene! 👏 well matched adversaries indeed; glad that both have brains and use them - rare occurence on the small screen!

And the Thakur disowns Paro with a sweet tongued blessing ... 'be brave, be strong ...' not before Rudra blocks his way to Paro ... protective already? 😳

.. he can't believe that Maamisa can disown her own adopted daughter, can forget ties of blood. I wonder if somewhere, sometime this will/does resonate with his own abandonment trauma esp when he sees her coping with it so differently from him
...

"Living dead"...so true. THat is exactly what came to mind. And she nailed it, as did Ashish and the others

Great post!

What a trio!! Have been a fan of Tarun Khanna for some time now and am so happy to see him performing well in this new role as well...and of course, both Sanaya and Ashish are just spectacular in expressions.

Ashish has so much subtlety in his dialogue delivery and expressions - he nails the right emotions without going OTT..simply love it.

Sanaya ke toh kya kehne! She has proven again and again how good she in emotional scenes - she makes you cry for Paro with her portrayal of devastation, vulnerability and despair.

Simply superb 👏

Hectic weekend, just catching up with replies ... 😛

Shwets, you're spot on ... Tarun Khanna was fabulous ... for some reason I remembered his role as Ravan in the scene ... his play of eyebrows was hilarious and evil at the same time ... especially the sideways look he gives to Maamisa when Paro is begging her ... and Tejawat is for a moment nervous that Maamisa's love for Paro might betray her .

Ashish was fab too ... I am more and more impressed with him as an actor as the show progresses ... he was filmy in the action sequences, as required ... and now he nails it in the more subtle sequences as well. No wonder Sanaya called him one of the most under-rated actors in the industry.

Sanaya is just awesome. The entire episode was filled with the face off between the two very aggressive men ... and she stole it with the last scene 👏

Lol ... you are most welcome to be biased 😆 Ashish was fabulous in the scene with the thakur ... and I loved that he had done his homework ... his arguments with the villagers about their missing girls were spot on ... if only the villagers could come out from the shadow of the thakur. I agree ... I alse feel that Paro's abandonment by her family has struck a chord deep within him ... he will now seesaw between the feelings of protectiveness and sympathy ... and the feelings of 'she's a beautiful woman, she has to be bad' ...

I am looking forward to that internal conflict within Rudra 😳 Ashish is a fabulous actor, it will be a treat to watch!

Great post Diya. I was happy to see my three favorite rule the screens; Sanaya, Ashish and Tarun. They did a commendable job in portraying their characters, be it the raged officer, cunning Royalty, and the devastated and bewildered girl. I was very upset to see Paro get disowned by her own people. Rudra is right in asking why the brides never returned and why the people never bothered to contact them after their weddings. Did they feel that all will be well as Tejawat got them wedded? How can they naively trust a man and disown their children for his one word. Poor Paro pleaded her aunt to take her back and yet her aunt had to turn her heart to stone to let go of her girl. She watched how badly Rudra treated Paro and she was well aware of how much the girl was terrified. Did she not realize that Paro has already lost too much and she doesn't have the strength to lose more. Paro of Birpur has died today as she ceased to exist for her people. She has accepted her fate to be with the BSDs as she has no where to go, no one to hide behind. She's going to stop feeling emotions and toughen up as she's already at her vulnerable worst. There is nothing left for Paro to lose. I just hope Rudra is there to help protect Paro, he's the only one she has got whether she likes it or not.

Sidda, you said it all 😃

Rudra came well prepared today with all his facts ... but the villagers are either too scared or too brain washed by Tejawat ... so many years of influence will not be washed away so quickly.

Paro of Birpur died to today ... very true ... and from the ashes, will the phoenix of a new Paro arise? This is the beginning of the journey of the new Paro ... her re-birth ... Rudra has seen her village and her mother-like Maami abandon her ... that will strike a chord in him for sure.
