Great take Diya, I felt so bad for Paro even Rudra was stunned to see Mamisa disown Paro who she had raised like a daughter. There was shock and disgust at what he just witnessed and it only enraged him further. I too noticed the sense of protectiveness when Rudra came between Thakur and Paro, stopping him from coming near her.

It really was a power packed episode with powerful performances from Tarun. Ashish and Sanaya. Looking forward to tommorow's episode.

Hi Diya,

How have you been? A brilliant take on such a fabulous episode. Don't know how many times I have sat through the weekend to watch it again and again.

Then read a few posts...and yours too and did not know what new to add to such a beautiful summary.👏⭐️ There was also a post about Paro still being in her wedding attire and whether Rudra will get her some clothes. Oh Lord she is now a widow! I was left wondering will she not be stripped of all her ornaments? Will she not be made to wear white or grey or whatever?

And this Monday morning it struck me...and so I had to say my bit...a slightly different perspective of the whole scenario where the village disowns Paro.

Why do I think Rudra was more stunned than anyone when seeing Mamisa disown Paro?

Well being a young man he has not come across a situation where a widow is ostracised by society for being a Widow. Let's not forget for even a second when Rudra put that bullet through Varunsa's head, Paro lost her identity at that very moment. For the villagers it wasn't too hard to disown her for she was a Widow the (konewali), which is supposed to mean "she of the corner" or "She who no longer lives". It was a norm of a very rigid society and village. Mamisa is hurt no doubt and will grieve for Paro...but society does not allow even the loved ones to embrace their own for a widow is still considered a curse. For Mamisa to relent to Thakursa's orders was not very hard to do, for even otherwise would Paro be allowed live a life of peace and bliss after this?

(At this point I don't know if the CVs will show this ugly side of war and battle, for it is the civilians who suffer the most)...Rudra is yet to realize the consequences of his act on this young innocent child-like bride....the aftermath of his actions...when Paro is STRIPPED off her bridal attire and the village/villagers begin to treat her as an outcast and with contempt.

After the hospital drama and promo playing out ofcourse Rudra might be forced to place her at his uncle's place. For he lives in his BSD quarters and his seniors will not allow him to retain her at the station for too long...being his burden and presuming she will eventually sign those papers some day he will take her along.

Rudra very easily said to Paro that it would take just three months for her forget her pain... Boy, he is so very wrong...it's going to take a lifetime of Patience, Understanding and whole lotta Love!

And with Paro remaining faithful to her dead husband.(For her Varunsa was a good man). All his misconceptions of an unfaithful woman are going in for a toss! His inner demons force him to think the women he has known are selfish traitors...but he just does not know that being born a woman itself in his society is a Curse.

Major Rudra may have won one gun-battle...but he has a bigger battle ahead of him to fight...one he has brought upon himself...The Human Battle...An Innocent Beautiful Young Lone Widow vs the rest of His Bad World!

And this battle ain't gonna be won with Guns ...but instead with Roses!

Am I being overly dramatic here? 😃

hugs

dd

dd!!! 🤗 Great to see you back!!!

Fantastic post!!! I love the different perspective you added! Yes, Rudra has not yet realised the enormity of the consequences for Paro ... today he was only appalled and disgusted with Maamisa for disowning her ... but soon he will realise what it means for a young girl to be widowed in this feudal backward society. And then his own internal battle will start. He is the one responsible for Paro's widowed state ... he can't wash his hands off her situation.

Mandy 🤗 Good to see you here!

Yep, I noticed that instinctive protectiveness of Rudra towards Paro ... the beginning of his own internal conflict ... Paro was left completely alone, it was shattering to watch.

Excellent performances from all the major players ... hope the larger than life actions sequences are done with, and from now, we get the pure story telling.

The most commendable part of today's episode was as many in this forum have mentioned in their posts -- the acting by the leads. Ashish and Tarun Khanna were, as if, fighting with all their strength to win a competition. They were brilliant. In fact the whole face off scene with dialogues and acting went superb! And Sanaya's avatar expressed all, surprize, shock, pain, helplessness and at one point, indifference to life - when she raised her hands for handcuff.

Great post, Diya.. loved it!

@bold ... that last was the most telling ... hats off to director and actress both ... the blankness, the indifference to pain, to life ... Paro the Birpur belle has died.

another amazing thread yaar, isn't it commendable that you and "ps" spend" almost 20 hours for the RR community...
