Grief seems to be the only true companion of Paro that never betrays her.

When she just started realizing that life's beautiful at a tender age, she was separated from her parents for eternity with such cruelty that they were denied the opportunity for a last farewell. She wept and roamed in the deserts in the hope that her parents are looking down at her from the world of stars and galaxies. Although Mamisa and Bindi came to her life in the form of a cool breeze, Paro's heart remained gloom and dark because she dared not expect life to be generous to her.

Then enters a fella with the charm of a nobleman who woos and wins the fair maiden at an unexpected juncture of life. Paro subsequently shuns her sense of despair as her eyes glisten with tears of joy. Listening to her heartbeats after what seemed to be a lifetime, Paro realizes that her heart was not a bleak house afterall. But then she had a strange foreboding that something would go wrong - a pang of her overwhelming joy.

The fear that all of the promises for a blissful life were a distant mirage struck a cord in her heart when Bindi went missing during her wedding celebrations. Once again, she was denied the opportunity for a final farewell. Paro leaves everything and everyone behind with yet another false promise of reuniting with her sister in the near future.

As the caravan trode their weary way under the blazing sun, Paro wept with a heavy, uncertain, grief-stricken heart. Although her companion tried to console her, life was too cruel to be trusted. Just then she realizes that every hope was a false dawn. The person whom she had imagined to be the pillar of her life collapsed in the earthquake that shuddered her world.

Next she finds herself as a prisoner awaiting the verdict without knowing her crime. She earnestly hopes that everything she just experienced turns out to be a bad dream but when was the last time when any of her hopes reached the state of fulfillment?

Paro shall face the final blow that will turn her world upside down tomorrow. It is one thing when your worst fears come alive but its a totally different state of existence when life catches you off guard - how could Mamisa turn her back at a point when she happened to be the only person that Paro needed the most?!

Life never fails to surprise Paro. Paro's life has a haunting poignancy. Let's watch how all of these outpourings of life shall shape Paro.

Yep. But while they are both grief-stricken, Rudra's is at least partly self-inflicted.

Poor one has not even been able to mourn her friend's sudden disappearance...even when she was sitting in the caravan...her heart might have been fulll of doubts and anxiety...
am not sure if all that has happened has even sunk into her...some ppl can go into a terrible shock when things happen like this...

and when mami sa disowns her she will be left truly alone in the world...bcoz she would not have the courage to trust anyone again ever...

What a beautiful and true portrayal! I absolutely agree with you! It seems like she's only ever had grief as her companion and she's complacently accepted it till now... However, I felt that we saw the first inklings of her future strong self who will be shedding the melancholy and fighting for her happiness!
On a totally selfish note, I hope that all this grief in her life means that there are many happy moments to come (hopefully with Rudra 😉)

Yes, I was thinking the same whilst watching yesterday's epi. Every step Paro has taken to leaving her hollow life has been cruelly snatched from her after her parents death. Bindi, Varun, n today Mamisa n the village. Every single person she had the briefest contact with to call her 'own', have been harshly removed from her life.

And now Rudra will enter, he will not make her his, nor allow her happiness with anyone else. He will be her protector from afar, & destroyer from close within.
