So another week passed by
Here is what I think
Hits:
Production value: I know I am repeating but I cant get over the grandness and movie like feel of it all. I know its gonna be pulled down once they move indoors or to the sets. Just hope its fairly decent and not a let down after the high standards they have set.
Lairu-Parun: the contrast of the two makes nice viewing. On one hand, a relationship of convinence, a means to meet needs from Rudra's side and taking whatever she gets out of Rudra in the name of a relation from Laila's side ( I am pretty sure she wants to be more than his bedwarmer but pretends not to care because she doesnt think he would give an girl more than this) and on other, the hopefulness and promise of a loving future, the innocence of it all. And all this makes the Parud story even more interesting. I just hope they dont show Varun as being in the know of Thakurs plan. that would ruin the innocence of Parun story for me
Sanaya as Paro: I havent connected as I did with KKG, maybe its the clothes and the whole look that make Paro different from the other Rajashthani choris from the show along with the diction and subtle mannerism but as long as its improving I am game. 😃 The scene in the temple and friday episode was nicely done. I do hope the character grows slows
Thakur and also Thakurain: The villian is turning out to be a well written character and seems to have have a decent role to play in a show tauted to be a passionate love story. And Tarun does well. I have always liked Sadia Siddique and IMO she does well as Thakurain here too
Misses:
Pace: A few scenes stretch a litlle IMO. They can be crisper and story can move a tad bit faster.
Butterfly: It can definitely be given a pass. It often looks odd with Paro sometimes seeing elsewhere while talking to the butterly. The flaw lies with the tech team there
Dialect: Many characters often switch between normal hindi and Rajasthani in a single scen and across different scenes. I wish they stick to either rather than flitting from one to another
one doubt: I presumed that the baratis got the raw material for guns from across the border so that it could be assembled and distributed in the village and beyond. So why are they taking it back after assembly. what was the piont of bringing spare parts to the village taking so much risk 😕
Oh and can they make Rudra wear the uniform cap too or not make Aman wear one (I would prefer Rudra wearing one). The uniform does count for something right
