Sanaya and Ashish was acting a scene out during RR launch and. Paro was a strong character in that scene she give it ton Rudra well.

@ Bold: For me, Sanaya started becoming Paro when she picked up the hand-mirror in Kesari-Ram's shop. I remember feeling intrigued that she was fascinated by the hand-mirror, but not the tricolour bangles that Bindi coveted? And then when she didn't shy away from her and her rescuer's combined reflections in the hand-mirror, but continued to gaze. Then there are her likes: the colourful butterfly Rukmini, Imli with salt on the side. And other oddities: her absence of bias against Laila, curiosity about all kinds of men, her ability to stand her ground and speak her thoughts, whether to Varun or the Thakur. And her ability to keep quiet (about Rudra), Her one tiny complaint to her Lord... In short, everything that I didn't expect. I'm pretty sure that list will continue to swell as Paro is completely unveiled to us and as Sanaya completely becomes Paro...

TVbug... loved your description... I loved the mirror scene too... and her not turning away the gaze... but it did not touch my heart... she was still Sanaya ... she became Paro in the convo... the next revelation was when she asked Laila about the third type of man...timid shy sheltered Paro... who would have thought that she had it in her to talk to laila and ask questions... that shows there is more to her than we see on the surface... hope that scratching brings out hidden courage...

Her previous characters may have made an immediate impact but Paro is a stayer ... will grow on you... and am sure Sanaya will make her grow...

nice post!i love all the things u pointed out at!!truly intriguing isn;t it despite looking so simple?

I saw Paro on the scene just before that.. where she is in the tractor and talks about missing her home n familiar surroundings n breathes in the air of her home for one last time..

but what fascinates me is that be it Swati, u, me or many of us. we all seem to agree that she became Paro to us end of 3rd or 4th episode onward not before that.. well there should be something correct in what Sanaya did at that point.. cz all these independent views kinda seem to reflect 1 another up to a certain extent...

n thus our expectations of her fully grasping Paro eventually (which she 99% did on Friday, if not 100%) seems quite realistic..
