The appeal for me in terms of the shows / leads is that they are ' larger than life' we have aBDF officer rudra , who keeps a stubble , slightly long hair and even wears studs 😆 He breaks all the rules while doing his job but hey ...that's the fun , makes him the dabang hero on tv😊

I want his paro to wear gorgeous lehangas and cholis as the villiage belle ...I want to admire her jewellery , her hair pins , her clothes ...that is the appeal of this show and then only will she be the perfect foil to rudra ...the beautiful woman ...

I am not looking for realism in an indian tv show ..also .the initial promos never promised that . If we are looking for realism , then very frankly no character in this show is remotely real - wheather it is paro , rudra , tejawat etc. Ex rulers of rajasthan are busy running heritage hotels nowadays ...not feeding bindisa to crocodiles 😆

Regarding the connect ...well I connected to paro in the 5 th episode of the show , when their was a beautiful scene between her and mamisa . Its the night and she smells her mother's wedding lehanaga ...ever since then , the connect has got stronger .

As a couple rudra- paro have had only one scene together , the absolutely beautiful mirror scene and oh buoy what a chemistry ...kabh dikhega next scene ...😳

Regarding sanaya , she is what i will call a " lambi race ka ghoda " , in it for the long haul . She will keep picking herself up , working hard and moving on from one goal post in her career to another without looking back. Absolutely amazing quality in the fickle world of indian tv actors / actress.

I loved your analysis.😃 As of now I feel the show is doing fairly good. SI & AS are very good too.

And don't say its only TRP aunties who contributes to the TRPs. 😆 Its also the young population who watches T.V. And you will never really understand the actual taste of the TRP aunties. 😆

LOL...Tell me about it, I'm in this forum and can't tell who is who, and who means what I feel like I'm walking in a minefield..I need to brush up on my stalking skills me thinks 😆 😆

Amazing post Swathi, I'm so thrilled that RR has brought you back here!!

For me, Ashish made more of an impact with his entry...he is a fabulous, underrated actor and the fact that he had definitive character helped him assert himself from the start. He no doubt stole the show in week one. However, Sanaya eased into the skin of her character slowly and I thought she finally nailed it with her performance in the last episode. I think both characters have many layers to them and we will see more and more of them as the show progresses. I've liked the subtlety and innocence of Paro's character so far...however when pushed, she will fight back. Next week looks very promising for her character growth.
