Parvati must be the full name like on paper. All the villagers must be calling her by her pet name Paro. It will be clarified only after first few episodes.

Exactly Mac! I am not asking cz I don't know that! 😆

@Nelo - baby we all know that! its just that we have to pick a jodi name and if we use Parvati and pick the 'vati' part to create the jodi name and then halfway in to the serial no1 uses Parvati n every1 uses Paro then the jodi name will stop resonating with the character name!
