Rangrasiya promo: Sanaya Irani back with a love-hate saga

The promo says it's not a hate story and it's not a love story either - but it's a love and hate story, how original!

Rangrasiya starring the popular actor Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma revolves around two people who have very different ideologies in life but still manage to get attracted to each other. The promo shot in Rajasthan tells the story of a village belle Parvati (Sanaya Irani) and Border Security Officer Rudra (Ashish Sharma). While Parvati loves the idea of love and romance, Rudra is irked by the particular emotion itself, yet the two are pulled towards each other by an unknown force. Their love story is aggressive and passionate - so they say.

The promo showcases Sanaya clad in a bridal dress looking as gorgeous as ever and Ashish loading his gun to shoot someone. As soon as someone is shot, a group of women come and strip Sanaya off her red bangles. The next we see Ashish aiming the gun at Sanaya's head... intriguing, no?

Frankly, when we saw the trailer it got us a little curious and very intrigued. However, the synopsis of the show is hardly that impressive. The whole concept of love-hate-love is redundant and done to death. But the trailer of Rangrasiya gives us some hope that maybe the makers - Saurabh Tiwari and Abhinav Shukla of Nautanki Films have finally come up with something different and original (fingers crossed)...

Ajay Rohilla roped in for a cameo performance in Rang Rasiya; Atul Srivastav likely to join

The shoot of Saurabh Tewari's much-expected show on Colors Rang Rasiya' kick-starts in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan amidst great expectations. And as our readers would know, Tellychakkar.com has been constantly reporting about the rich cast that is being added to the show, produced by Nautanki Telefilms with every passing day.

Recently, we wrote about Vishal Gandhi being roped in for a promising role. And now we have the news of veteran actor Ajay Rohilla playing a very important cameo role in Rang Rasiya. Rohilla was last seen playing a cameo in Star Plus' Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara.

As per sources, he will play a character who will create all the drama and thereby thicken the plot with some unusual twists and turns. Ajay Rohilla and Kali Prasad Mukherjee will play fathers of the two leads in the show, is what we get to hear.

Another important name that we hear is of senior actor Atul Srivastav's. Sources inform us that talks are presently on with the actor, and if things go as planned, he will essay a fatherly role, yet another important character in the story line. Atul Srivastav was last seen in Zee TV's Afsar Bitiya.

We tried contacting Ajay Rohilla, but he remained unavailable for comment.

Atul Srivastav on the other hand said, "Talks are on for the show. But there is nothing concrete at the moment."

Rang Rasiya premieres on 29 December on Colors.

Kali Prasad Mukherjee to play Ashish Sharma's Father in 'Rang Rasiya'

Saurabh Tewari's 'Rang Rasiya' to be aired on Colors soon with interesting Love Story and Popular Star Cast.

And joining the star cast of the show is seasoned actor Kali Prasad Mukherjee, who will play a pivotal role on the show.

Source inform that Kali Prasad who was last seen in Do Dil Ek Jaan will play the role of male lead Ashish Sharma's father Rudra on the show. He will start shooting in a couple of days for 'Rang Rasiya' .

When contacted, Kali Prasad said, "Yes am doing the show. It's a very interesting character to play. It has a lots of potential to it and I m just waiting for the shooting to start."
