ohh flashback mein flashback. so sam's death is the reason shaan left music. really sad some one should made him comeout from its guilty. may be khanak will do it. shaan saw sam's death nightmare and saw another girl this time which is similar to khanak. khanak left her father's house and living alone. but one question again khanak's legs are how much handicapped? is she have to on wheelchair all time or she is like sanjay datt in saajan. coz its very difficult to leave alone for handicaped person who is on wheelchair and i had saw handicapped person on wheelchair who need someone's help to put them in car and make seat in car they can drive but they need help how can she do it all alone housing, marketing and all other things? study and work of interior designing can be done i can understand.

so shanak again met and got friend. accident again! ohh so she was handicapped at her 14. and now shaan related that nightmare hospitalized girl to khanak.

shaan getting rj job is very good way to connect him with music. As for now he is doing business without his heart as he was in show this job will help him to get little enjoy n rejoice his work but will he accept it?

Chapter 4

The next few days Ananya was at Khanak's place, she was glad to see her feeling better & to have a good friend like Shaan around but she warned her to be careful as these days it's hard to trust strangers. Khanak took her advise but she also explained why she sees him as a friend, she feels secure around him & he seems to be nice like their father's driver after all Shaan is his son. Ananya was restless seeing her sister living alone given that she can't walk, her sister assured her that she'll soon find a roommate that too someone who work in her agency.

Her sister asked lastly if she'll ever come home, Khanak was sad but she said that the day her parents will realize what she really want she'll come home cause right now it doesn't feel like a true home for her, all those years she felt more like a stranger than being a part of their family.

Shaan was at home, discussing with his brother-in-law & sister Poonam in the dinning table along with their father. Poonam made some delicious parathas & vegetable curry. His brother-in-law made him realize that business is not going well these days & that they both might starting working on something rather than just focusing on the shop as Poonam is also there to handle it. Poonam then revealed to her family about the RJ job offer that her brother got, Shaan's father & brother-in-law were happy to hear about that & were curious about Shaan's answer. However Poonam knew what would be his answer, Shaan won't work in something related to music, but this was an opportunity to not to miss, she thought that maybe this was the perfect chance for him to move on. Shaan started answering, they were all tensed around the table & staring at him.

Shaan said that he'll think about it but he doesn't know if he can make it as an RJ. They were finally relaxed & glad, his father encouraged him asking to at least give a try as there's nothing to loose. Shaan saw happiness in his family's faces, he is ready to rethink about Mohan uncle's job offer after all he only has to play music & talk, interact with the audience, it has nothing to do with singing or even playing a guitar like he used to back during his teenage days.

Within a month, Shaan took the opportunity given by Mohan uncle, he started his 1^st week as an RJ in a radio program dedicated to the ever green classical Indian songs along with a female RJ. Thanks to her help, he became used to playing the songs, reacting to the audience's requests & interacting with them. Slowly he gained lots of fans, he was quit popular among female fans & had a good knowledge about R.D Burman songs & Kumar Sanu's hits. While he was busy working as an RJ at nights, during the day he was in the shop with his sister. His father was also doing fine with his leg & already started working for Mr. Mehra. Shaan's brother-in- law was working into some changes in their shop by adding a set up & small cozy place where people can listen to music & chat with each other, more like a music centre.

On the other hand Khanak was also busy at work, she already found a good friend, Soni in her working place, she moved into Khanak's house as her roommate. They are both currently working on a hair salon's interior together. Khanak & Shaan didn't had a chance to talk with each other the entire month as they were busy with their lives & work. Somehow Khanak was missing him, she didn't even had his phone number, the last time they met was 4 weeks ago in Shaan's shop.

Khanak and her roommate Soni were preparing the dinner, Soni then checked the time & was excited as her favourite radio programs starts at 7 p.m. Khanak was curious about it.

Soni: - It's gonna start in 3 minutes!

Khanak: - You & your radio program. What's so special about it haan?

Soni: - Arre, you have to listen, it's awesome especially RJ Shaan.

Khanak: - Shaan?

Soni bought the radio she kept from the room & reached the kitchen with it so that they can hear the program while coking. The music program started, a song of Kumar Sanu was playing. Khanak actually liked it, then she got to hear a familiar voice, is it the same Shaan she knows...Yes it was definitely him, how come she didn't even know that he started working as a radio RJ, well she was happy for him but also upset as he didn't informed her about his RJ job. Khanak then asked Soni to call them as she has a request, she was curious if Shaan will answer to her call. Soni dialed the number three times, it was busy, she tried again for the last time & he answered.

Shaan: - Hello, welcome to our show, this is RJ Shaan speaking. So kaisa tha aap ka din?

Khanak: - Hi RJ Shaan, main tik hoon what about you?

Shaan: - Doing good, aap ki awaas...

Khanak: - Mujhko pehchaan lo RJ Shaan, you know me well.

Shaan: - Oh, guessing game...interesting. Voice is familiar, hme...let me guess...

Khanak's friend was so excited, on the other hand Shaan's colleague was enthusiastic. Shaan's guessing time is over, he is about to answer, Khanak is waiting for his answer with expectations.

Shaan: - Mil gaya...Tum Khanak hai na?

Khanak: - Haan.

She couldn't stop laughing, Soni was so surprised to see her like this, she didn't even know that she knew Shaan before, she was so envy of her. Shaan asked Khanak on which occasion she made the special call to him & if she has any song to request, to dedicate for someone. Khanak was thinking , she didn't had any song on her mind but yes she said that she called him as she wanted to know how he is doing as an RJ & that she missed her friend. Hearing that, Shaan's colleague started to talk.

Female RJ: - How sweet, seems like both of you are really close friends. I can sense some female fans getting jealous from now on, hai naa ?

Shaan was laughing, he was a bit embarrassed, on the other hand Khanak didn't liked the way she spoke. Shaan reassured everyone that they are just friends, he then asked his friend for her song request.

Khanak: - Mujhe ek cheerful song chahiye please, something which will be perfect after having a tiring day at work.

Shaan: - Hme...Let me think...I think I got the perfect song for you Khanak. Thanks for calling us & keep loving, supporting our show. Here is your song!

Khanak & Soni were just sitting and listening to the song, well as promised it was the perfect song to end a tiring day, the well known Zindagi Ek Safar song. Khanak was just smiling, relaxing while listening to it without any tension, she felt happy but also emotional as she remembered how she used to dance on that song when she was 10 years old with her dearest mother. This was one her mother's favorite song, she always used to dance full of joy whenever she heard it.

Soni then asked her about her friendship with Shaan, she was so curious about it.

Khanak: - RJ Shaan nahi, sirf Shaan...Well it has been only 2 months since we got to know each other & gradually webecame friends, he is a really nice guy.

Soni: - You are so lucky yaar, I'm sure he is so handsome & super cool. Aur uski awaas...oh god, girls are already going crazy for him yaar!

Khanak: - Crazy girls & you are also one of them!

Soni: - There are only 2, 3 pics when we search on google yaar. So tell me how does he look? Are you sure that you two are just "friends"?

Khanak: - Hum sirf dost hai. Well I only know that he runs a shop with his sister & brother-in-law, his father is working for my family. We got to know each other because of his father. And please he is not that cool like he sounds on the show, not a hero wala type but he is a really sweet guy, always willing to help others.

Soni: - Yaar please arrange a meeting with him for me please?

Khanak: - Oh god...Ok ok, done.

Soni thanked her while hugging Khanak. On the other side Khanak was happy to have found two new friends. She was finally glad to have started a new chapter in her life, she had a teary in her eye. Somehow she was sad, deeply hurt inside as her family doesn't support her apart her sister Ananya.

On the upcoming days, Shanak & Khanak hanged out with each other, Soni got to meet her favorite RJ, she is already idolizing him as the perfect guy for Khanak. Moreover Khanak was so happy to have found a true friend in Shaan, she is the only one friend she trusts the most after she came back to India. It has been only 2 months & she found such amazing friends, she was also happy to see a new side of Shaan these past days. It seems like he is himself while working as an RJ, she always felt that he wasn't at his place in his shop business.

After earning his 1^st pay of RJ, Shaan went for dinner with his family & later on he went to meet Khanak as she asked for an ice cream treat near their hometown. Shaan's sister Poonam was so curious about the new friend of him, she was constantly asking about her whereabouts but Shaan just told him that she is just a friend like her colleague or even Natasha. Poonam was happy to see some changes in her brother's life, lately he has been lively & happy, his new job was doing wonders.

Shaan came with Khanak to the small ice-cream stand. Shaan asked her what ice-cream flavor she wanted, she opted for strawberry ice-cream just like him. They started having their ice-cream & were eventually chatting for a while.

Khanak: - It's good to see you doing well, being happy & all.

Shaan: - Thanks, seems like you are also doing well & how is your friend Soni?

Khanak: - God she is totally mad over you, just like all of your female fans. But seriously I don't like the female RJ...

Shaan: - Kyun, are you jealous like my fans?

Khanak was surprised, she was staring at him with wide opened eyes.

Shaan: - I was just joking!

Khanak: - Ya whatever!

Shaan: - Oh, I missed hearing that from you.

Khanak couldn't stop laughing at that comment, Shaan was just smiling & looking at her. It felt nice to see her laughing. He thought that the more she comes to know about her the more she seems like any other girl but there is always that protective feeling which comes on his mind when he is around her. He liked her that way, smart, sometimes nave but deep inside she has a sensitive heart.

Shaan: - Tum aise hi rehna, aachi lagti hai.

Khanak stopped laughing & started staring at him, she was actually blushing & then looked away saying that it's late, she must go home. She felt nervous while walking back to home, she couldn't even look at him. Shaan noticed that she was really calm on the way back to home, he asked if she was alright. It was a calm night, there was some wind & she started sneezing. Shaan asked if she feels cold, he then took off his black leather small jacket he was wearing & ended up by putting it around Khanak. She was touched by his kind gesture to which she thanked him.

Few days later, while going to see a client's house in the morningwith Soni, Khanak took a break at a coffee shop. She saw Shaan with a charming young woman, she was going to greet Shaan but he seemed to be in some curious conversation with that person. Khanak backed out, she sat down with Soni & what they ordered. Khanak's eyes were constantly on Shaan & that girl, Soni was talking to her about work but Khanak's mind was somewhere else, well indeed she was curious about that girl. Soni then noticed that something is bothering Khanak, she went to her & ask her if she is fine, Khanak didn't said anything.

The same night, Khanak & Soni were listening to Shaan's program. Soni noticed that Khanak seemed upset, the other times she always used to cheer Shaan's program & to enjoy peacefully but today since they went to have some coffee. Soni asked her what's the matter.

Khanak: - I don"t know...I'm confused about Shaan...

Soni: - Kya hua, you two had a fight or?

Khanak: - Arre nahi yaar, I think he has a girlfriend.

Soni: - Oh...So you just came to know that he has a girlfriend & you are upset about that?

Khanak: - Well yes...I mean I'm his friend & he didn't even told me...

Soni: - I thought that you two will be perfect together...What to do now?

Khanak: - Forget it, we are just friend yaar but how come I didn't even knew he had someone in his life!

Before going to sleep Khanak decided to call Shaan, but he didn't answered, she tried again but still no answer. Soni assured her that he'll surely let her know about his girlfriend to her maybe he wants to take things slowly & that's why he didn't wanted to introduce the girl to his friends. Khanak agreed but she was not really feeling happy to hear or see that Shaan has someone in his life, she as a friend has to be happy but she wasn't, she was wondering & confused about how she feels right now.

Chapter 5

Khanak's father, Mr. Mehra's health was bad. She immediately went to see him at home & few days later when he was back on his foot, he went to see her at her working place. He invited her for lunch, she agreed. They went to some chic, big restaurant. While waiting for their order, he asked her about her whereabouts, he told her that even though she is far from them he always kept an eye on her. He asked her to take care of her well & to choose well her friends. Khanak was glad that her father still cares about her but that advice about her friend she didn't liked that comment at all. She wanted to question him about it but didn't wanted to ruin the mood, after all she is meeting her father after a long time.

The order came, they started eating & Khanak's sister Ananya came to eat with them as well. While dropping Khanak to her house, she requested her father to come to her place but he refused. He also asked her to come back home as without her their family is incomplete & whatever she does, he'll be proud of her, he wants to pacify & start a fresh with his daughter. Khanak was surprised at his words, he seemed to be sincere, she didn't said a word but left there saying that she missed him.

The next morning, Khanak was in front of a tomb, she was wearing a white kurta with a blue jean & a scarf around her neck. She had some flowers in her hand, she was looking at the tomb with sad eyes. She then left the place 10 minutes later putting there the flower bouquet.

Shaan was waiting outside, he came with his new car to pick her up. While driving he noticed that she was silent & sad.

Shaan: - All good?

Khanak: - Pata nahi, it's a special day today...Do you remember I told you about my uncle who died from that accident where I was also with him.

Shaan: - Oh ya.

Khanak: - Today was that accident date, I lost my ability to walk & he left me & my mom alone.

Shaan stopped the car, Khanak asked her what happened but he was unable to answer. Today was also the day where he & his friends got into that terrible car accident which took his best friend away from him & the others forever, it was an unforgettable day!

Khanak: - Shaan kya hua, are you ok?

Shaan:- Ya, ya...I remembered about something, actually for a second I thought that I forgot about that day...It feels strange!

Khanak invited Shaan to have a taste of the cheesecake she made, she noticed during the entire moment that he was preoccupied by something. Shaan then got a called from Natasha, Khanak wondered who she was, then she remembered of that day she saw him with his girlfriend, she thought that this was definitely her. After he finished the call, he joined Khanak.

Khanak: - You are hiding lots of things these days...

Shaan: - Kya matlab?

Khanak: - First of all I didn't know that you had a girlfriend & today you was so upset in the car, something is definitely wrong!

Shaan: - There's nothing like that Khanak.

Khanak: - I saw you with a girl in a restaurant, you two seem to be really closed to each other & I'm sure it was her on the phone. You too had a fight aur kya?

Shaan: - Please Khanak, I'm not in a mood for jokes & I don't have any girlfriend.

He finished eating, he helped Khanak to finish the dishes & didn't even wanted to have a coffee that he left the place saying he's tired. But Khanak stopped him by grabbing his hand, he turned back to her.

Khanak: - Kuch toh hai, c'mon hum dosti hai na, tell me what's the matter.

Shaan: - Today is also a very important day in my life, I also had an accident on the same day as you had that accident, ajeeb hai na.

Khanak: - Haan, but you never talked about it with me. You lost any dear ones?

Shaan: - Hme, my best friend Sam, we were like brothers!

Khanak: - I'm sorry...It must have been hard for you too...I won't ask more about it. Just remember that all we have to do is to pray for them & remember the best moments we had with them.

Shaan: - You're right...Thanks & sorry yaar my mood was off, thanks for the dinner.

Khanak: - It's ok. Good night Shaan.

Shaan: - Good night Khanak.

Khanak closed the door, she then went to the window side in the salon to see Shaan leaving, he was smiling & lost in her thoughts. She then remembered all the moments she had with him, their 1^st meeting, when he saved her twice, the ice-cream treat. She went to sleep after an hour, she was sleepless, she was just thinking about Shaan, she wasn't even thinking about that accident only Shaan was on her mind. While recollecting all their moments, she couldn't stop smiling, what was that feeling? Why is she constantly thinking about him these days? Well she was starting to like him, that feeling was so good but at the same time she was scared because Shaan is her friend & she doesn't even know about his feelings, his kind of girl.

Later on during the night it was raining, Shaan was sleepless & he had that same nightmare after a long time, he woke up from it. He was sweating & breathing fast, why does that girl appear in his nightmare once again, after all who is she. Shaan thought that he has to find the answer to his question so that he can be at peace. It feels like that terrible day was chasing after him forever, for how long he has to bear with it, it was so hard for him to move on & now a girl is coming in his dreams, why?

On a morning, Natasha went to meet Shaan in his house, he then talked to her about that nightmare. Natasha asked him that maybe he has to meet a psychologist again as it's seem like he didn't moved on after that accident. Shaan assured her there's nothing to do with that but he needs to know who is that girl & why she keeps appearing in his nightmare. Natasha then had the idea of visiting the hospital where Sam died as maybe there was a chance that the girl was admitted there & that she might be someone who Shaan used to know. After hearing that Shaan became a bit scared. Later on she finally convinced him to take the help of her nurse friend who is working on the same hospital where their friend Sam got admitted after the car accident. Natasha then asked how was Khanak, she noticed that Shaan became really closed to her in a short time, well she felt a bit jealous but on the other hand cause of his new job, she was glad to see a new Shaan, someone closed to the Shaan she used to love.

The next night night while watching an action film at home, there was a particular chasing scene which caught his attention, there was an accident & a young girl was screaming out loud for help inside a red car. Shaan then recalled the moment where he got out the car during the accident he had 8 years ago. There were lots of few details that he forgot during all those years due to the pain & also the fear of recalling that terrible day. But right now, there was a flash which came on his mind, he heard the voice of a girl inside the car which got damaged, she was screaming & crying asking for help.

Shaan closed tightly his eyes to recall the moment, he saw a moment where he finally got outside of the car that he was driving & he actually goes towards the other car, he saw a face of a young girl, yes, it was her who was screaming, she seemed to be deeply hurt. Shaan's brother-in-law called him four times, he finally came back to his sense, he was worried & sweating. He then went immediately into his room, he sat down on his bed lost in thoughts, there was just one question on his mind: Was she also the girl who appeared in his nightmares recently?
