Part 41

Finally the baarat had started to move, Akshay and Samar on either side of Shaan, they were laughing at his situation, all the baratis are dancing, even dadi too, all are overjoyed. Shaan is smiling!!!

Baraat had reached its destination, Khanak's house; Dhruv, Raj and Nirav also join with baraatis in their dance. Misha and other girls are watching the baraat from balcony, giggling, planning how to steal his jhootis. There's custom telling that, Dulhe raja should step down with the help of Dulhan's brother, for now, Dhruv and Raj are like her brothers, so they help Shaan to get down from his ghodi, he's relieved!!!

DD and Raj's father welcomes all the baraatis with jaimala, all are escorted to the front door, where Raj's mom is waiting with a thali. She does aarti for Shaan, Shaan is all smiling, she does a teeka, another custom of oulling his nose, to keep him in his bounds and not to hurt their daughter in any ways!!!

Raj's mom lean forwards to pull his nose, by this time all the girls have come down, cheering for her. Akshay and Samar pull Shaan backwards, in order to save him from getting that pinch, this goes on until Shaan surrenders himself, telling that they have the right to do it, and promising that he won't hurt their daughter, his Khanak!!!

All baraatis are let in, mandap is ready, but first is jaimala, so, Shaan is seated on a chair, on the stage, he's offered drinks, he denies it. He's waiting for Khanak, but now wonders where's Aayush???

As on cue Aayush runs to him, he's wearing a dhoti kurta, looking as the most cutest guy ever!!!! Aayush runs to his papa, Shaan makes him comfortable on his lap….

Shaan: hey champ!! Your looking great!!!

Aayush: thanks!!! (slowly Shaan pecks him on his cheek)

Pandit comes and tells to call Dulhan, as its time for jaimala, Shaan is eagerly waiting, in this meantime, Aayush is greeted by Khandelwals, Akshay picks him up, Khushboo gushes on Aayush, Dadi is all smiling, Samar is by Shaan's side, Sunil and Madhvi are speaking to the guests, DD, Dhruv, Raj are running here and there…..

DD: Misha, jao Khanak ko lekar aao!!!

Misha and others run to get her, Khushboo joins them too. They open the door of her room, she's sitting on the bed, all ready, breathing audibly, due to nervousness, she in her green and pink lehanga, looking like the most beautiful and gorgeous bride ever!!! She's got little make-up. Her head is covered by dupatta, its adored with maang teeka, and a bindi on her forehead, her lips adored with lite lipstick as she didn't wanted the darker shade, her eyes lined by kohl, her cheeks are pink, because of the rose powder and also because of the amount of blushing, her arms adored with dark shade of mehandi,making her look serene!!!!

Khushboo, misha and other girls gush over her, as she's the most beautiful brude ever!!!! They take her down for jaimala, Shaan senses her coming, stands from his place, Khushboo and Misha are covering her, he tries to peer, but his efforts are gone in vain!!!

Both the hearts are beating as fast as they can, finally Khushboo moves out of the way, Shaan gets to see her as his bride!!! He's happy to see her, at the same time bowled by the way she's carrying her, she has held her lehanga with both the hands, her hands have become sweaty, her head bent down, she slowly climbs upon, as she moves near to him, Shaan's spirits are pouring, he has a wish of jumping over and hugging her, as she looks the best in this attire and he's loving it!!!!

Now both of them standing opposite to each other, Khanak is urged by her friends to look up at him, as even he's looking best, Khanak finally looks up at him, he broadly smiling at her, his eyes telling that, she's looking gorgeous, her eyes replies to acknowledgement, telling that he's looking more handsome today than ever!!! Her eyes search for Aayush, she sees him standing on the eat where, Shaan was sitting and Nirav next to him, she smiles at Aayush, Aayush is on top of the world, he's jumping on the chair, Nirav has held him securely, so that he won't fall!!!

Both of them are handed the garland, first the dulhan has to put, she's having it in her hands are hands are shaking, she looks up at him, he's smiling, she's about to put it around him, but Akshay and Samar lifts him up, Khanak is shocked, Aayush squeals in laughter, Dulhan side people screams. In no time she;s lifted by Dhruv and Raj…

Misha: Khanak dalde!!!! (lots of cheering) Khanak bends forward and outs the jaimala around him, even Shaan puts the jaimala for her, both of them are brought down, loud clapping for the couple!!!!

They are made to stand together for pictures!!!! Everybody say cheese!!!!!!! Group photo is taken first then Aayush, Khanak and Shaan, many photos of these three!!! Aayush gets tired with the amount of posing, Raj takes him, to get Aayush to eat, now its Khanak and Shaan, posing for pics, in amidst of so many people, they get a private moment…..

Shaan: I can't wait for all this rasams to get over!!!! (speaks into her ear)

Khanak just stares back at him, she has lost her speech….

People came over to wish them and showers them with their blessings and gifts!!!

They are called for pheras and to tie the knot, Shaan had left his jhootis near the mandap, first she's made to sit right side of Shaan, Kanyadan time….

DD comes over, he places Khanak's right hand on Shaan's right hand with a flower, they are said some mantras, Shaan can feel her hands cold, she wanted her parents to be there so badly!!! Shaan squeezes her hand in assurance telling that he'll be with her, Khanak nods!!! They put into the fire place, they are now made to stand up for the pheras, Khushboo takes her dupatta and ties it with pink shaal which is now placed on Shaan's shoulders, in first four pheras, Shaan is moved in front and Khanak following him, and in the last 3, Khanak is made to move in front and Shaan following her, both of them have listened to vows and promises to themselves that they'll be fulfilling each and every needs of eachother!!!!

While doing the pheras they were showered by flowers!!!! After the pheras, she's made to sit to his left side, indicating that her place is now in his heart!!!

Now it's the time for to tie the mangalsootr, he's now holding it in his hands, its black beaded, a diamond, v-shaped pendant in the centre!!, he slowly takes it to put around her neck, Misha picks her jaimala and dupatta around her neck making place for Shaan to put it around her neck. Shaan slowly places it around her neck and hooking it. His fingers slightly brushing her neck, sending shivers to her body!!!!

Now time for sindoor!!! He's given a coin, he dips it in the container containing sindoor,Misha lifts her maang teeka, he slowly fills her parting with sindoor!!!

Now Khanak Mishra is Khanak Khandelwal!!! All of them clap for the newly weds, Aayush who was standing next to his papa, hugs Shaan from back, Shaan returns the gesture!!!

Khanak is happy, she can't express it, even Shaan, their happiness has no bounds!!!!!

They are now made to get up to take aashirvaad from elders, first its dadi, she blesses them to be happy throughout the life, next Sunil and Madhvi, they also bless them, next DD, Khanak hugs DD, and thanks him for being there for her, her tears flow down… DD wipes it, Shaan bends to take his blessing DD stops him, hugs him, and asls him to take a good care of her and Aayush, Shaan promises that he'll give them all the happiness they deserve!!

Next Raj's parents, they bless them too, Dhruv hugs her, as she will be his best friend for ever, he jokes telling that, Agar Shaan ne pareshaan kiya na, toh mujhe call karde, main San se yaha shift ho jaonga aur hum log yaha se bhaag jaate hain!!! Khanak had smacked him playfully, Shaan had smiled has he knew it was a joke!!! He would never let happen that!!!

Even Raj hugs her and wishes her all the best, as he'll be staying here itself, he'll be making visits to her home, to see that everything is fine or not!!!! Misha and Nirav also wishes them, Nirav gives some ideas to Shaan, whichmay come in handy for him soon!!! Samar had also wished his friend and had offered Khanak hi friendship, so that, if she wants to know any secret about him, he's happy to revel it to her!!!

Aayush hugs her, Khanak picks him up and holds him closer to her!!!!!

After that, Shaan comes down and finds his jhootis not there in the place, he wonders, Misha and all the girls are giggling, Khanak hides her smile, Shaan is confused….

Mish (comes forward): Shaan, jhoote doond rahe ho???

Shaan: haan yah toh choda tha, pata nahi kaha kho gaya hain!!

Mish (brings it in front of him and waves it in front of him, Shaan extends his hand to take it from her but she backs off)

Akshay: shaan tumhe achchi jagah nahi mili, apne jhoote chodne ke liye!!

Shaan: matlab???

Samar explains him. His jhootis are returned to him after dulha side agrees to give them a good amount of money, girls squeal in joy!!! Its time for some food, a special seat for dulha dulhan, Aayush on her lap!!!

There's loud request of asking for Shaan to feed her some sweet, he picks it and slowly feeds her, she eats a little, rest he takes it!!!

Aayush: mere liye?????

Shaan takes some more and feeds him, he jumps on to his lap, Shaan slowly feeds him, he eats it all. Dinner is finished with lots of talking, lots of teasing of newly weds, and lots of laughter!!!

Bidaai time, Khanak once for all thanks her friends parents, DD hug her, tears flow easily from Khanak's eyes, she thanks for them for being with her, when she needed her parents the most, and also thanks them to shower her with so much of blessings,

Khanak: iske badle main, mein aap sab ke liye kuch kar hi nahi sakthi!! (tears flowing)

DD: bas hum logon ko bhool mat jaana!!!! (DD is also at his best in convincing her that she didn't had to do this)

Raj's mom: beta tumne hume mauka diya hain, kanyadan karne ke liye, iss se zyada punya toh hume nahi milega!!! (tries to calm down her)

Aayush is confused as to why his mom is crying, Shaan is just looking at Khanak, he has held Shaan's hand in his hand, Aayush looks up at Shaan, tugs on his hand, Shaan bends down to him…

Aayush: mom kyun ro rahi hain????

Shaan: who kya hain Aayush, aapki mom ko dada dadi ki yaad aa rahi hain!!!

Aayush: achcha!!! (Aayush moves towards Khanak, pulls on her skirt, Khanak bends down, Aayush wipes her tears….

Aayush: Mom, aap ro kya rahi hain, dadi waha hain!!! (points towards dadi, dadi smiles) aur dekho papa ka Dad aur mom bhi hain!! voh log meri liye dada dadi hue na, toh aap ke liye mom dad!!! Aur Khushboo aunty aur Akshay uncle bhi hain na, hamare saath tho sab hain !!! (khanak hugs him)

Yes he's right, she's got back everyone, whom she had lost, parents in the form of Sunil and Madhvi, Bhaiyya, bhabhi in the form of Akki and boo, an extra member, she had found dadi, who's so adorable, she had found everything in her life, all the happiness which she had lost she found everyone back, including Shaan, the reason of her happiness!!! Shaan had brought a new life in her, she would surrender everything for him, she promises to herself to give him everything which he deserves!!!

After that they were escorted to their cars, DD and her friends would be coming the next day for reception!!! A ll are happy, newly weds are taken to Khandelwal's house, with Aayush!!!!
