Shaan had a blast last night, he had enjoyed it to the core, but yes in the middle it was disturbed by Kiya, but as usually he had not cared, he had just blowed of the incident from his mind, but he had made a mental note to ask Samar about Kiya.

He's now laying on his bed, seeing the empty side of his bed, which won't be remaining empty after tonight'.. That thought made him broadly smile' He sleeps back on his back. From next day onwards his life would be filled with her, only her'..and yes Aayush, his new son!!!!!

He's disturbed by the knock on the door, he wonders who's it, at an early hour of moerning, he gets up reluctantly, swearing under his breath, he opens the door, shocked to see his mother'

Shaan: Mom!!!! (sounding sleepy though he was wide awake)

Madhvi: Good morning beta, get ready and come downstairs, wear something easy!!! (brightly smiling)

Shaan: why???

Madhvi: Haldi beta iss liye!!

Shaan: itni jaldi???

Madhvi: haan voh Khanak, ke liye haldi bejani hain naa!!

Shaan has no idea about it, he gives an expression like explain????

Madhvi: arrey beta, jo haldi tumhe lagegi, ussi haldi Khanak ko lagana hain!! Abb hogaya tumhara, abb jaldi karo!!!!

Shaan smiles, Madhvi leaves, Shaan gets ready for his haldi, he's now seated, he's covered by ladies, he's visibly embarrassed!!! His mom comes first, he smiles shyly , she applies haldi first on his legs, then on his hands and then on his face, at first he makes a face, but after he enjoys it, whole Khandelwal clan had enjoyed, Khushboo and Akshay playfully had put haldi on his nose, he had grinned at them!!!!

On te other side, Khanak was ready for her haldi, but Aayush is still sleeping, he had slept late yesterday, but he had also wanted to attend the haldi, but Khanak didn't wanted to wake him up, meanwhile, mish comes to her'.

Misha: arrey chalo na Khanak!!!

Khanak: voh Aayush!! (points to Aayush)

Misha: kyun?? Abhi tak nahi utha?? Toh uttadena!!! Shagun ki haldi bhi aagayi hain!!!

Khanak: haan!! Lekin'..

Misha: koi problem nahi, main use le leti hun!! (as she knows her friend very well, she carries Aayush in her arms) abb chalein????

Khanak smiles and both moves out, her was first applied by DD, in her father's place, after applying haldi, he had pecked her on her forehead fondly!!! After that Raj's parents, then her friends, first foremost Dhruv, he applies it all over her face, Khanak yells at him, all others laugh!! Next is Raj, then Misha and Nirav, finally Aayush woke up, he was now in Raj's arms, he starts seeing through his half opened eyes, he asks for his Mom!!!!

Raj: tumhari mom toh gaayab hoayi hain!! Yeh dekho yeh koi yellow aunty hain!! Shaayad aapka maom ho!! (laughs under his breath)

Aayush is in no mood for fun, he's still looking at everyone, trying to figure out where he was, rubbing his eyes with both of his hands'

Khanak: Raj stop it!!! Mish can you just wash his face, so that he'll be fully awake!!

Mish: yes maam!!! Pehle tum toh fresh ho jao!!!!

Dhruv: itni jaldi?? Nahi nahi!! Kuch mazaa hojaye!! (winks at Raj, Raj grins, Mish takes Aayush from Raj and moves in)

Khanak: dhruv tum aaj kal sirf masti hi kar rahe ho!!

Dhruv: arrey Khanak jab saare functions katam hojate hain na, toh hamari saare fun bhi katam!!! Toh we'll enjoy to the fullest!!! (does an hi-fi with Raj)

Elders also agrees, Khanak shakes her head, she's smiling seeing her friends enjoying haldi, Raj had literally put haldi on Dhruv's face, Dhruv not to be left out, through all this chaos, she was missing her parents immensely, the most important day of her life, and her parents is not with her. If her parents would have been on the top of world, she was reminded about her brother's marriage, where she had lots of fun with her mom and dad, in pulling her brothers leg, now it was her time, her friends were pulling her leg, but her parents were missing, she's now in her room, looking out of the window, she was left alone, to clean herself!!!

Her phone rings, she's lost, she misses the call, once again it rings, she's startled, she looks at it, she smiles an half smile looking at the screen, its flashing Shaantanu's name!!!! She picks up the call, she's not allowed to speak'.

Shaan: Khanak!! Tumhe pata hain I took completely an hour to clean myself, it was horrible, but still I did this only for you!! Kyun ki mom ne kaha the same haldi you'll be putting on, u know what I mean'..

Shaan: achcha voh sab chodo, yeh batao, r u struggling to get your haldi off, u know im free right now, I don't have have any problem in helping you'''.he chuckles, but senses that she's silent, she hardly does that'.

Shaan: Khanak??? Are you alright??? (A lone tear comes down her cheek)

Khanak: yeah'

Shaan: Khanak, what's wrong??

Khanak: kuch nahi, tum bolo!!(tries to be fully composed)

Shaan: (he realsies its an important day of their life, then she would be')Khanak, r u missing your parents???

Khanak is silent, tears flow freely from her eyes'.

Shaan: Khanak!!! Listen, ur parents r with you, you remember the words you told to me na, when I had asked you about you missing them (in his house, when they were sitting and talking near the pool) You had said that you see them in Aayush's and your happiness, ur happy right?? toh phir??

Shaan: Khanak please don't cry!! Shit!! And I can't get out of my house now!!! (his parents orders)

Khanak: Shaan!! (controls herself) im fine!!!

Shaan: r u sure Khanak???? (worried)

Khanak: yep!!! (smiles)

Shaan: (lets out a long breath) thank god!! Ek minute ke liye aisa laga'.

Khanak: Shaan!! Stop it, kitne bholte ho!!! Anyways I've to go take a shower now!!! (back to herself)

Shaan: sshhoowwweeerr!!!!

Khanak: haan!!! (clueless) Shaan grins and shakes his head'.

Shaan; ok!!! But don't forget aaj raat''

Khanak: (wide opens her eyes, and then smiles shyly) Shaan!!! Bye!! (cuts off the call)

Both of them smile at the phone!!!

Update was Lovely ………Haldi function & Masti described beautifully. Shaan agreed for function as he got to know that the same haldi will be applied to his Love :) For me attractive part was the way you have beautifully included Aayush & his Sweet antics. Wakening up & searching for Mummy. As usual Raj was super cute :)

Khanak Missed her parents………Awee…….Felt really sad thinking about her situation. Loved the excitement in Shaan's voice & the way he handled khanak after knowing her mood ………Beautifully Written !!!
