All of them are clapping happily, Khanak is clapping for Shaan and smiling and Shaan is clapping for Khanak. Shaan comes near to Khanak. All are busy.
Shaan: iss barr bhi tumne baazi mar li (in her ear with a smile)
Khanak: I don't think so, (looks at him) not bad, Im really surprised!!
Shaan: that I could play guitar??
Khanak: and you could sing, you never told me (mock upset)
Shaan: tum baat kaha karthi ho, what's wrong Khanak?? (worried)
Khanak: actually mujhe ussi ke bare mein baat karni thi (serious)
Aayush comes running to them, first he hugs Shaan, Khanak is surprised
Aayush: uncle aap bhi bahut achche gaate ho (sweetly)
Shaan: achcha, thank you (picks him up) lekin aapki mom ne bhi toh gaana gaaya hai.
Aayush: mom toh har din gaathi hai, she's the best, lekin aapne pehli baar gaya hai toh (he pecks him on his cheek) yeh aap ke liye. Shaan smiles at him.
Khanak is happy to see the bonding between them. All of them join, there is loads of laughter and more talking, all are enjoying it to the core, Khanak's bonding with Khandelwal's grown more strong. As promised she's preparing kheer. Khushboo is accompanying her in the kitchen. They have become great friends. Khanak is reminded the relation she shared with her bhabhi, it was the same, but now she thinks, this relation is better but something different, both of them enjoy each other's company…
Kheer is served to everyone. She is eagerly waiting, she's nervous. She looks at Shaan, Shaan takes a spoonful, he's impressed, actually he loved it, he just eats it. All others praise her, but the person she's expecting is not telling anything. Dadi watches her starring at Shaan. Shaan easily gets up and goes near her.
Shaan: can I get a second serving?? (with a smile, all others are busy with Aayush but dadi is watching them, with a smile) Khanak smiles and nods. She moves to the dinning table, where she had kept the bowl, Shaan follows her.
Shaan: so you love cooking??
Khanak: I think so!!! (serves for him, he takes it politely)
Shaan: im waiting for the day, u cook something for me (smiles)
Khanak is upset, how is she suppose to tell him, his expectations are growing. She just moves out, without giving him a second look, as her eyes were filled with tears. Dadi notices that,but she doesn't ask any question in front of everyone. Our Shaan once again confused,looks at dadi, she assures him and goes behind Khanak.
Khanak enters into the guest room, which was given to her and Aayush. She stands near the window, wipes her tears, she wouldn't break down easily, she's not that weak… Dadi comes and keeps her hand on her shoulder, Khanak slowly turns towards her, she tries to be normal.
Khanak: Dadi!! (smiles) aap??
Dadi: kyun tumhe laga Shaan hai?? (naughty smile)
Khanak: jee?? (shocked)
Dadi: Shaan ne mujhe sab bataaya hain, aur usne yeh bhi bataaya hai ki aaj kal tum bahut sad rehthi ho?? (silently seeking for answer)
Khanak: (moves around, so that she won't be able to meet her eyes) Dadi I don't know, aap kya baat kar rahi hai, meri aur Shaan ke beech mein aisa kuch nahi hain…
Dadi: agar aisa hai, toh meri aankhon mein dekhkar kaho.
Khanak turns around to see her, she takes a long breathe in. Dadi makes her sit on the bed, she sits opposite to her…
After half an hour or so, Khanak and Dadi comes out, Shaan notices that. Khanak and dadi both are smiling. Shaan is happy to see her smiling.
Sunil: arrey maa, Khanak kaha reh gaye the, maa aapko yaad hai, hum log Kashmir gaye the. (smiling)
Dadi: (both of them take their seats) yaad kyun nahi, wahi tour hai na jisme Shaan darr gaya tha (giggling)
Shaan: dadi!! Dad bus hogaya ha (irritated)
Khanak: kyun?? Aisa kya hua tha??? (excited)
Shaan: kuch nahi hua tha, Dad please…
Khushboo: arrey aisa kaise Shaan, pata hai Khanak, hum sab log Kashmir gaye the, u know waha pe Horse riding, trekking, rafting famous hai na, Shaan aise thaise karke, Horse riding kar li who dhi usne chup chap nahi kiya, sab logon ko suna raha tha, especially uss ghode ko (all of them burst out laughing, even Khanak joins them, Shaan is embarrassed.)
Shaan: bhabhi, aap ka kya tha, Bhaiyya aapke saath the, aur mom aur dad ek ghode par, aur mujhe bita diya akele, pata hai who ghoda teek se chal bhi nahi raha tha, mujhe toh aisa lagtha tha ki mein pakka ghirne wala tha, thank god aisa kuch nahi hua…
Everyone starts laughing once again
Akshay: Khanak tumhe uss ka chehra dekna chaiyiye tha, it was so funny…(laughs)
Khushboo: baad mein humne, matlab mein dad, Akshay aur Shaan, trekking ke liye gaye the, pata hai usne kya kiya… (laughs)
Akshay: oh my god, usse yaad karke aur bhi hassi aati hai…
Aayush: Kya hua tha??
Khushboo: (cotrolling her laughter) woh, he got ready, he climbed half the way, then (laughing) we don't know what happened, he started to yell there, to make him get down…
Khanak: are you serious!! (laughing)
Shaan: stop it aah bahut ho gaya (gets up and leaves the place) All stops laughing when he gets up, and once again starts laughing after he leaves…
Shaan is irritated from his family, he's in his room's balcony, looking outside, Kya zaroorat thi, khanak ko yeh sab batani ki, abb kya sochegi woh meri bare mein… hits his hand on the balcony rail.
Khanak enters the room slowly, with kheer in her hand…
