And about, Shaan immediately retracing his steps back to his car, that shouldn't have been the scene! I wanted him to go to Rich and blurt out everything...Everything to him about his so-called Deary WIFE!

I somehow, feel that even Rich suspects Des of her demeanour and stuff. She doesn't seem what she looks or portrays herself to be!!
She is Medusa within the body of Aphrodite...Bah! *poof* Even Aphrodite will loath herself to encase such a horrid creature and Medusa herself will feel the same, for getting a namesake like her!
Though, Rich can't possibly place what goes on in Des' mind, he does suspect her! And maybe he isn't broaching the topic now, only because of the contract's Special clause, I suppose! Or even HE may lose his job!😆

Coming back to Shaan going back home right after meeting Des in the Annex...
You know Des is capable of making tales! And am sure that now since Shaan has threatened her, she won't leave any stone unturned and without revealing what she has done, she'll put the blame on Shaan and make him the wrong-doer and the Devil, Master-mind of all this fiasco!
She IS a TELL TALE *****!!!🤬 (Sorry, I don't normally use it...I never use it, actually!! Only in my work of fictions!)😳
And Rich may believe her but only half of what she says. Would love him to carry out the investigation and discover the real truth!! And... Umm...I'll leave it right here! Pehle use Pata toh chalne do!!!😛

And when the confrontation will take place, Sooj will definitely support Shaan, which in turn, will give him a name that 'Only because Shaan is his friend, he is supporting him' or 'May be Shaan may have told him only his side of truth (the actual truth of course, but what does the world know!!) and has won his sympathy'!!!🤢

And yes, Des, may also, accuse Shaan of trying to kill her!! God, how come that slipped off my mind? 😲 Umm...well, now I remember!😃
You never know what the world will say and think!

And IF Khanak decides to fly back to LA by the Pacific, then that'll be another horrid period for the two, while Shaan is flying from west to east and Khanak's going in the same direction, but away from him!! Like completing a circle, you know!! Teehee...😆
OR Shaan, who's decided that no matter what, even if the freaking volcano has started to erupt in Iceland, nothing...N-O-T-H-I-N-G can stop him from reaching Khanak and bringing her back home...to THEIR Home! But now there's an IF...If the flight risks to fly above the damned volcano and if something happens, like the eruption hit the plane and it crashed...then... Khanak will face the ultimate test of her already twisted and torn Life!! 🥺
