he is in too much trouble n he definitely needs to speak to her..
dont let his pride spoil him..
he needs a counselling session urgently for his depression r this will definitely lead to problem in their marital life..
he coming drunk to office for the meeting shows how much depressed he is..
if he doesnt discuss it with her all the effort he gives in work is of no use..
so i demand u to give a one to one talk with her abt wat he actually thinks n wat his pbm is..
may be sunil will ask her to join office n this will lead to further depression..
she is ready to have a baby..but if he is going to be like this it wont be a healthy environment for anyone..
he doesnt want to blame her for his present state of mind directly but that thought is getting rooted..thats not a good sign..
i just wish to smack him n say just go n talk to ur wife abt wat u feel..budthal..

i am not all to fond of this guy at the moment. yet at the same time i find myself thinking if only things could've led to this for the show or something along the lines. but. i am not going to compare or go down the if onlys between the show and this. because this is this. the show is almost nothing compared.

she was the go getter. the strong. larger than life. yet at the same time. docile.and far too understanding than needed. so keeping in that. and who he was. the stage that they're at now is not all to surprising nor uncharacteristic.

The thing with HIM is that he is seflessly happy for her..as long as it does not interfere with his work..and that is the key to understanding what selflessness really means..it cannot be one dimensional or conditional..he is happy when she is happy..tum khush ho? main bhi bahut khush hoon..but the unsaid.."agar tum apne aap mein khush ho..tho tum yahan kya kar rahee ho??..."..and that is the growing up that HE needs to do..

and YES this would have been so much in tune with the character of the show's male protaganist...

In many ways, his turmoil and his back and forth between the fiend and friend that enters him dissipates when it is just both of them together..she tends to cling ..clutch to him ..and he loves to be her support..he wants to believe in those confines that he being the support..the one she looks upto is the only relation between them..he wants that..he has never ever been that to anyone..

OH! Chris..don;t you worry about the show..the show is over..which is why I write this story..the story through my eyes and of course through so many of you..

ah the ever ready male ego. they say women are hard to understand (not that i am going to argue that too much) but honestly. males are just as bad. if sometimes. not worse.

i totally see and agree to what you say of his need to that one that some one looks up to. the support. all of it. but if only he could see that he is still all of those. even if he accepts the role she is unintentionally playing in his life outside of their room. especially the work space.

it almost makes me wonder. if there are ever times that such clashes and egos dont come in way. in the dynamic where the supposed weaker sex holds stronger presence

This reminds me of the scene when during the Shaan- Natasha Marriage track Khanak leaves home and Shaan goes to get her back...That auto chase and when he says "Agar tum bhool gayi ho toh main bataa du...Ki tum meri Patni ho...aur main tumhara PATI"...But ofcourse in the show that dialogue was not in this egoistic way !
