Loved how he "asked" her before going off...Not that he wudve listened to her if she had asked him not to go and not as if she wudve asked him to stay put...

But for headstrong ppl who take their own decisions...Its a big deal to make that move and "ask"...Even if they have no intention of agreeing if the answer is not as per their expectation...!

He cudve "told" her..

On the other hand...he was "sure" she wud react the way she "did"...I think that is one major reason why he asked...He wanted to re affirm if he was right in judging how she wud react...!

I just remembered there was a rain sequence, they were driving back frm offc, the song played was
