Good post May.Well presented thoughts.There is always 2 sides of a Coin.It depends on how and what one infers from a thing happened.

There are a few good points raised by the other members as well just as u did.one of which i can say is:

(1) Khanak saying "thanku" instead of "Thank U".Comeon nw she's been using these words for a while and she should be able to say it.And its Khanak, she's clever enough to get along with people and situations.Why show her like a gawar saying "thanku".

(2) Shaan has known khanak inside out, her lifestyle , got adjusted and loves and accepts her the way she is.He's even been to dhulwadi to explore life in real.He however does "Burthalgiri" though at times.

Now that they are on a honeymoon , shaan encounters few things that links him with his lifestyle and so is he enjoying it. He's not ignoring Khanak.The disco scene seems quite natural something that could happen in real life that too ina place like Goa.

So in this case, perhaps wat u said would be great if happened - "Khanak can learn the sociail norms of the city....And perhaps Shaan will realise at last....That it not enough for him to just love Khanak, but he has to teach her about city life, for her own sake....Not to change her, but so that she doesn't remain ignorant....She is his responsiblity and he needs to teach her and make her comfortable & confident in the outside world"

Shaan and Khanak compliment each other.While shaan's educated,knows duniyadaari - Khanak's samajdar and knows maintaining relationships , the good and bad of being human.Both should help each other in carving themselves.

Shaan can teach Khanak English, encourage her towards education / perhaps realise the talents she has and help her in grooming herself so that she's independent and has an identity of her own. In the same way, as Khanak drives Shaan towards his Goal and make him realise his reponsibility and him being Individualistic and Independent.

However this as is the later part, something that can be looked into and focussed after the Honeymoon track,the point of focus now is Shanak's honeymoon.Hope the track's going to be taken of well, though unique,let it be logical and realistic .The linkage to the scenes and editing needs to taken care by the CV's.

@Preiti - Excellent post and like you I would like Shaan to encourage her towards a proper eduaction too...But like you said, this is the honeymoon track....So I started with what we have in front of us.....

I agree on the note for the CVs....And editing is something which we seem to mention time and time again too....

@tanya I think giving old fashion dress because her knowledge about them is mostly through films and not in reality..so she might have sen boby and that imag mus have been registered in her mind

I mean she has not seen closely how young girls dress in short dresses..and dance to item numbers or whatever.

I want the see the complete scenraio in the party hall before commenting fully😊

ediitng really is now sliiping again..i agree taht she needs to have education more😊

Great post May, and I hope to see this too.

Shanak are in the early stages of their marriage, and in the real world they would still be finding out new things about one another, whilst at the same time trying to adjust to married life.

Especially Khanak, her childhood in Dhulwadi would have been so different to where she is now. Instead of highlighting these differences through making fun of her pronunciation of English words or her feeling she has to change her attire to fit in, the CV's need to develop this side of Shanak's relationship which will only strenghen their understanding, bond and love for one another. And correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that what most (if not all) of us want to see?

Shaan helping Khanak feel more comfortable and confident in her surroundings would be a meaningful gesture on his part too and for me, a track along these lines is the next logical step for them. Not having babies!
