Till now we have seen ShaNak mostly in their own sphere....Also with the family and testing new shores, with the addition of Shaan's friends....Today was glimpse into their reaction as a couple to the outside world...I was apprehensive about watching today's episode, but it turned out differently to what I had expectedđ....I still hold judgement on the 'Lavni' dance till it is shownđł.....
So, Shaan was behaving as a normal guy who is enjoying the world cup fever and dancing....He wasn't neglecting Khanak in the episode, as far as I could see....Khanak tried to dress herself in a modern style....Perhaps to prove she can do it or to fit in, aswell as for Shaan.....
Though I don't, going to clubs/discos is what many people in the city do....Before their marriage Shaan must have lived a city life-style we were not shown....Till now we have seen Khanak adjust to Shaan's family....Now she is seeing him a young man about town....He perhaps sees her change of dress as a chance to introduce her to his world, so to speak....
Perhaps this is a lesson in the reality of life for both Khanak and Shaan....Khanak can learn the sociail norms of the city....And perhaps Shaan will realise at last....That it not enough for him to just love Khanak, but he has to teach her about city life, for her own sake....Not to change her, but so that she doesn't remain ignorant....She is his responsiblity and he needs to teach her and make her comfortable & confident in the outside world.....
I really truelly hope this is what we will seeđ.....
