Need to pull an all nighter but couldn't resist putting in my two cents for today:KT-YM--->VERY VERY natural and cute with the dog!No matter how much I don't like dogs, must say, the three looked like the perfect family!Plus when they argue over the name and Khanak just picks the dog up and moves out of the kitchen with Shaan following.Cute it was.K-family scene---> KT was amazing!Had the right intensity of pain in his voice, no tears no drama, everything said and done in the way one would expect Shaan to.Shaan is a guy who needs acceptance and love.He has been ignored by his parents in their race for more and some misplaced notions about need for 'things' triumphing other emotions and other needs. He loves his parents but the bitterness lingers somewhere in there. It was brought to the fore marvelously by KT.[Oh KT-YM scene that stood out for me here and made me rewind and see it again was when he looks at her when she is laughing along with the parents and the look he gives her and how she is all cute in response.]Dharam--->Was absolutely marvellous!(BTW-was it me or the guy has lost quite alot of weight??)Loved the way he said : Unko nahi pata unn ka baap ek driver hai.Plus was happy that dialogue was not followed by Shaan consoling him and telling him just how great a service being someone's driver is.Like Shaan-Dharam bonding.Kind of reminds me of kids I have seen whose parents are the same and how they tend to be closer to their servants than their parents...Okay as for my issue with THE scene of the day-it was long needed.Hit the right emotional notes.I have always been irked by Shaan not laying it onto his parents for being the kind of parents they were so I was satisfied.BUT I didn't like what they made Khanak say.I mean I totally got when she tells Shaan to shut up since respect for elders has been drilled into her, is part of her make-up.However I wanted to see her torn between respect for her parent's in law and feeling bad for her hubby.I more or less re-wrote the scene in my mind so I am just going to pretend that that's what happened.P.S: Was kind of hoping for Khushboo being in the scene and Shaan asking her why,if she is so eager for a baby in the house, did she kill her own?
Hey DocD
Thanks!*hugs* (hugs in bold are really crushing wali hugs)The love is much needed comfort at the moment.I wanted to do a detailed analysis but lack of timeHaven't read anyone's take yetShall do tomorrow and comment.Re: Black: Hahah didn't want to say it but the scene was one of those where there is perfect amalgamation of ShaNak and Yasharan.I love those scenes.Sigh😍
