@SYS...fab analysis...I had huge problems with the shanak scene..it seemed like shaan got the best lines and Khanak got...nothing!!! one's character did a slow turnaround and the other did one too...which was what I felt was off...

The other problem I have with this track is ...so the CVs seem to have decided not to deal with the trust issue at all...then why the hell in the next scene do you show me Rahul trapezed around a woman with drinks??? are you throwing the fact that we are the stupid viewers who will watch anything on our faces???

@Aditee and Vaishu...honestly, with Golden RBO, they did imitate movies once in a while in fact the whole dhoti wearing scene was inspired by Swades which is turn was inspired by a K Vishwanath telugu movie which I cannot place at all..completely blanking...however Golden RBO was an original and only scenes were incorporated and not the track...there is no doubt that a movie take-off takes away some originality...but since rock on, it is my belief that the 'story; aspect of RBO has truly gone out of the window because writers don't seem to know what to tell after the I love you ..and that is the issue, what is it with TV that they think that once the protagonists have confessed their love and realized it there is nothing more to say...how unoriginal!!!..that genre of story telling is yet to take birth on television...

Sunil-Madz: I like such scenes cause they're cute but yes they are showing signs of caricaturization.Which I don't want.I guess they dont have time to write out a separate plot for them-even though that would be better time utilization than a Rahul-Jenny whatever that is-and since they know that we want the Khandelwals they are just putting in random scenes now.

sorry haven't been up-to-date with the epis much...i was gonna do an analysis on the good days, yesterday, but was too busy with uni...

I noticed the change in expression too.

But I put it down to her being torn between family loyalties and her knowing Mangal is wrong.

VERY very true.

None of the serial seems to know what to do after the 'confession' if they start pre-marriage and do the whole falling in love journey.

Even though the real tests come after two people either get married or commit to sustaining a relationship!

And with their backgrounds there are SO MANY things they could have done.

Sigh.

Its too late to reminisce over what could have been.

@SYS: yes, there could have been so much to show,,,, with these two characters...sadly that was not the case...

@Ad and Vaishu...frankly I have no problem generally with them adapting the swades movie even tho it was one of my fav movies, notwithstanding the fact it was the only SRK movie I loved...however, I have always said this treatment is everything....I really wonder if they will get it right...I mean its a tall order...

a. get Shaan to open the mill while his dad and mom become caricatures thanks to a dhulwaadi hangover

b. Get Khanak to teach in a school after she has said lets go back...and this track apparently wraps up this week so what she will only teach until D is for dhulwaadi?

c. Anand needs to help them and also die

d. Shaan needs to repent for not trusting Khanak and Rahul needs to be punished..yet Rahul will get to romance - push and pull another woman...

e. Mangal right now is the only consistent character in the show...because he has arrived straight from Golden RBO...has not been blemished by Rock On....
