Okay a bit late.
Just wanted to mention some things that struck me/made an impact.

The sharp turnabouts these characters produce when needed-Shaan going from completely clueless to extremely mature and worried about the Dhulwadi villagers and their problems and feeling like he owes them something.
And if he has to go on a guilt trip can he go on one regarding the whole infidelity issue first?Or at least simultaneously?

The inability of the writers to portray Shaan and Khanak as strong individual characters simultaneously- Khanak asking Shaan to return home just because he gave 2 samosas to the kid?Back to Mumbai?Even though her home village is suffering?I wouldn't mind her giving him food but this is too extreme!

Despite all my issues with the character portrayal liked the Shaan-Khanak scene. Its the first step towards a more mature Shanak.I just hope they retain their Shanak-ness though.
Oh and loved that few seconds close up we got towards the end when they face each other. It was un-intensely intense.

Sunil-Madz are the cutest buddhas! I just hope RBO doesn't go on to caricaturize their characters.

Mangal-Shaan-Sarpanch scene: Miss Pankaj Dheer.Thank god things are making sense now-them going to the Sarpanch first was very realistic.
Love Mangal! He might not be the AG but I love this guy all the same.
Loved how they ended it with hot-headed Shaan.

Good Morning !

Rock On movie itself is not that popular and adapting is the biggest blunder they did.

Swades I think if they show it properly it might click.

Let's see. Waiting for today's episode.😊

Dont you think Swades would have blended really well if they didnt have a breakdown like Rock On in between?
Now it looks like we are having to go from a businessman Shaan to a rock star to a entreprenuer again.
Flow bigad gaya
Hope this gives it the necessary shot in the arm to leap forward

@ aditee

Agree with you. He is at his best in that scene.

I almost watch it everyday.

Cannot compare with anybody.

This remains as one of the golden moments in his acting career.

Kal KAHAN mar gayi thi?
Blue was a b----- joke!
I wasnt too crazy abt Sunil Madz scene
They are OK.......... some times Sunil shows shades of brilliance
Madz is quite fatigue inducing
I rather like her as the snotty high-society b---- that she can do so well
All this slumming doesnt quite become her

Yumna,

Nice to see you.

Have you observed yesterday when Shaan mentioned about Mangal Khanak ;s expressions changed.

I think she is scared of Mangal doing some harm to Shaan.

In that context she might used 'Ghar chalte hai'

My 2 cents. I might be wrong.

Vaishu,
I watched the SBB/SBS clip I must say I am very selfish and partial and nothing can compare to the original.
Swades happens to be MY all time fave SRK movie. He was brilliant in that, quite unpretentious and understated👏👏
However much I love HT and KT, its going to be mighty hard for me to enjoy that song re-done by the two😭
YM's sincerity in narrating the background of a scene always brings a smile to my face😳
She talked about that scene almost as if it was a real life event😳
She has a very expressive voice and her diction is wonderful!

I was asleep before yesterdays episode even aired.Abhi aa ker dekhi.

Sunil-Madz: I like such scenes cause they're cute but yes they are showing signs of caricaturization.Which I don't want.I guess they dont have time to write out a separate plot for them-even though that would be better time utilization than a Rahul-Jenny whatever that is-and since they know that we want the Khandelwals they are just putting in random scenes now.
Sigh.
What happened to a well-rounded, making sense in most cases story line?=(

I have yet to go through yesterdays analysis. My mother is calling me to eat some new mushroom thingie soup she made=s

Might be true!
But I notice she tries to shield him from the "realities and harshness of rural life"
I thought it was an extension of that!
