lol! so i am a feminist now!š actually honestly, i am surprised to see all this defending shaan's actions when most of us here are girls and many are married too. i really hought it would have made more sense to sympathize with khanak. i guess i do think more from a women's perspective.

since we are all pycho analysing the characters, let me ask you, why does khanak always have to be the one to work on their marriage? always be the one to reassure shaan? i thought it should be the opposite, considering her first husband died because of his negligence. he should work if not double than just as hard! coz, shaan's a burthal and a man and shaan is just shaan? we can't excuse someone all the time coz' they are being themselves only. that would be really weird. i agree it's a man world but who makes it so? us women only!
Ahhh.. I don't know how to answer this to not provoke a women vs man discussion or a man's world discussion.
When it comes to marriage it is about give an take..
Frankly when it comes to emotional giving .. it is mainly the woman that does it.. may be because we have that maturity and better emotional understanding that the men do.. Men never grow up regardless of what they are professionally they have that child in them that takes over in unneeded situations.. and usually emotional ones (don't mean that they throw a tantrum crying) but act with emotional maturity!
This exactly what I see Shaan as.. and that is where Khanak always steps in..For some reason I feel it very real.. maybe because I know.. being married for sometime.. and having friends who are married.. the stories are the same.
