Part 46

In the morning everyone had gathered in the dining hall since it was a Sunday so everyone was free. Sunil & madhvi were sitting on the sofa next to akshay & khushboo & shaan & khanak were sitting on the other couch next to each other.

Sunil:- toh beta shaan khanak kya decision liya hai tum dono ne

Shaan & khanak looked at each other first & then khanak looked down & shaan looked at khanak & then at sunil & shaan said:- dad woh……………………………

He once again looked towards khanak asking dt if she was totally ready for it & she nodded her head a little in assurance indicating that she was totally ready for it now.

Shaan finally spoke up to sunil & said:- dad hum dono…………………….hum dono shaadi ke liye taiyaar hain

Everyone beamed with joy & madhvi & khushboo hugged khanak & sunil & akshay hugged shaan & then sunil said:- toh bas phir main aaj hi pandit ji se poochta hoon ki shaadi ke liye shubh din kaunsa hoga

Madhvi:- haan sunil hum aaj hi pandit ji se baat karenge

Khanak blushed thinking of their marriage & looked down & the khandelwal family enjoyed this moment very happily.

Sunil & madhvi called the pandit & the pandit arrived after some time.

The doorbell rang & pandit ji arrived.

Sunil opened the door & welcomed the pandit ji in & everyone sat down

Madhvi & sunil welcomed the pandit ji & sat with him on 1 couch & shaan sat next to sunil & khanak sat next to madhvi & the pandit ji were sitting in between madhvi & sunil.

Sunil:- pandit ji yeh hai shaan aur yeh hai khanak…………………he said pointing towards shaan first then khanak

Sunil:- aur pandit ji aapko inn dono ki kundliyan dekh ke shaadi ki date batani hai aur pls jitney jaldi ki date ho utna acha hai kyun shaan khanak sahi keh raha hoon na main

First sunil looked at the pandit then at shaan & khanak & both of them looked down.

The pandit saw their kundlis

Pandit:- maine inn dono ki kundli dekh li hai aur kaafi achi hai…………………………………

Madhvi:- toh pandit ji kab ki date nikali hai inn dono ki shaadi ki

Pandit:- 18^th may ki date nikali hai

Madhvi:- kya 18^th may par woh toh bahut jaldi hai………………………………..5 din mein hum itni saari taiyaariyan kaise karenge oh god………………………..koi aur tareek nahi hai kya pandit ji

Pandit:- agar 18^th may nahi toh phir 2 saal baad shubh taareek aayegi shaan aur khanak ki shaadi ki

Sunil:- arre nahi nahi 2 saal baad toh nahi phir toh 18^th may hi theek hai…………………kyun shaan khanak beta tum dono ka kya kehna hai

Sunil looked first at shaan then at khanak & when shaan started speaking he looked back at shaan.

Shaan:- dad humein koi problem nahi hai 18^th may se…………………….baaki aap log jaisa theek samjhein

Khanak nodded her head in a yes & looked down.

Both shaan & khanak were praying inwardly that their marriage becomes scheduled for 18^th may only because now they can't even wait for 2 days so 2 years were out of question.

Madhvi:- toh phir theek hai shaadi ki taareek 18^th may ki tay hui theek hai

Sunil:- ok jaisa tum kaho madhvi

The pandit fixed the date with everyone's assurance & as soon as the pandit went everyone started discussing on how to go about the wedding & who will prepare the guest list & when do they go for shopping & all

Shaan, khanak, khushboo, akshay, sunil & madhvi were sitting in the dining room & discussing

Madhvi:- toh ab dekho…………………..humare paas 5 din hai…………………….toh ek din toh shaadi 18^th ko phir 17^th ko engagement aur sangeet rakh lete hain aur 16^th ko mehendi kya kehte ho tum sab

Sunil:- haan madhvi yeh toh theek hai

Khushboo:- haan mom par phir toh mehendi ko 3 hi din hai aur phir sangeet aur engagement aur phir shaadi…………………………..oh god aur abhi toh itni saari shopping karni hai………………………………kaise hoga mom dad sab kuch kaise

While speaking all this khushboo got up from the couch & started walking with a tensed face & everyone started looking at her as she was walking.

After khushboo stopped speaking madhvi spoke:- arre khushboo beta tum itni chinta kyun kar rahi ho……………………………………..abhi time hai thoda sa aur aaj toh waise bhi Sunday hai toh hum ek kaam karte hain aaj se hi shopping start kar dete hain…………………………………….infact aaj se kyun abhi se hi start kar dete hain………………………….aur waise bhi yeh teeno log (she said pointing towards sunil, akshay & shaan) yeh teeno bhi toh ghar pe hi hain toh bas……………………………..ab yeh teeno humari shopping mein help karenge………………………shaan, akshay aur sunil humein shopping leke jaayenge ok

Sunil:- what hum teeno kyun………………….

Madhvi:- kyunki my dear husband humein shopping sirf khanak ki nahi shaan ki bhi karni hai……………………………& ab bina bole tum teeno hum teeno ko shopping leke jaaoge aur humari help karoge.

Madhvi said this 1^st pointing towards shaan, akshay & sunil & then pointing towards khanak, khushboo & herself.

Sunil:- ok baba chalo

In this whole scene shaan & khanak were staring at each other in between but no one noticed it & they left for shopping.

Shaan was driving one car & khanak was sitting next to shaan & akshay & khushboo were also riding with shaan & khanak & were sitting at the back & sunil & madhvi then decided that they should let all the kids go for shopping as they thought that the 4 of them would be able to do better shopping & would be able to shop without any disturbances although shaan & khanak had opposed their decision & told them that they should also come with all 4 of them

But sunil & madhvi told them to leave for shopping & sunil & madhvi will prepare the guest list.

Sunil & madhvi asked khanak if she wanted to invite someone from delhi but she said that now everyone she knows is here in Mumbai & sunil & madhvi know about them but still they insisted if she wanted to call someone from delhi some relatives or anyone but she refused saying that she doesent have anyone in delhi now because she knew all her relatives were just relatives in terms of words & not related to her in terms of feelings so she dint want 2 invite anyone else.

Sunil & madhvi smiled to this & said ok & they sat down in the dining hall & started preparing the guest list & on the other hand all 4 of them went for shopping.
