hey I am equally tempted to write a FF( u may call it by any name)
I dont have that much good command over english as I have over Hindi.
.So any grammatical errors and any other errors please bear with me..
"Shantanu itnie choti si baat pur jhoot lekin kyon- "Chapter 1:
Khanak was thinking as to what is keeping shaan away the whole day without even
telephoning her even once.....but comforts herself saying "
"ab toh who kalakar ban gaye hain ....unke pass kayi kaam honge aur kayi logon ke phone
aathe honge
r uperse yeh secretary kii pareshaani bhi aa gayi hogi"
she seemed satisfied at her own answer.😃
and she gathered her happiness thinking he has promised to get back home early
.."ab mujhe jaake kuch unke pasand ka garam khana banana hain
bahut thake hue honge kya pata teek se khaye honge ya nahin
she talks to herself "hmmm..chinese noodles banawoongi..shantanu ko bahut pasand hai
aur samay bi zyada nahi lagega woh abhi aathe hi honge"
Just when she is about to leave the room the landline telephone rings
Khanak picks it up thinking who could it be and says" hello "
just then a female voice politely asks "May I speak to Mr.Shantanu Khandelwal"
Khanak guesses it is a phone meant for shantanu and answers " ji ... aapp ...aap kaun hai"
The female voice answers back sweetly with a laugh audible over phone ..
' arhe... Mrs.Khanak Khandelwal aapne Mujhe pehchaana nahi mein hoon shantanuji ke
secretary Koel singh "
Khanak now recognised her voice as she had spoken a few words with her just a day
before..before and after the concert..
that time koel was very excited over the fact that shantanus concert was a great success
and the arragements had been perfect.
.she even congratulated khanak..to which khanak had smiled blushingly with a thank u and
shaan was looking at khanak with a warm smile
...The scene flashed before khanaks eyes ...
She recollects ' areH koelji aap maaf kijiye...... meine aap ko pehchana nahin"
Koel laughs even over more loudly over phone
"Mrs.Khanak khandelwal yeh aap kaisie baaten kar rahi hain..
Phone mein chehra thodi diktha hain ....waise Shaan sir se .mujhe
.bahut zaroori baat kaam hain isliye meine ghar phar phone kiya sorry...
Khanak is now totally taken a back
All the while she was thinking shaan was with his secretary at the coffee shop trying to
reconcile between her and her Boy friend.....
But now his secretary is asking" where he is"
but stilll khanak is thinking in her mind and defending shaan
"aisa bhi ho saktha hain ek aur secretary ho unke office mein"
she politely asks koel" ji aappse kya main ek baat pooch sakthi hoon"
koel is surprised but replies " ji kyon nahi poochiye"
Khanak questions koel "Kya aapke office mein shantanu ke liye koi aur secretary hain"
Now koel bursts ito laughter..thinking what sort of question is this...
' sorry ...mein hass padi .. mrs.khanak u are too sweet
I mean mera matlab hain...aap bahut meeti ho.
.Hamare Office mein shantanu ke secretary sirf mein hi hoon"..
again laughs and stops..
Khanak is suddenly sad at the thought that shantanu has lied to her again...silent and
thinking ..over what made him do that...
But she collects herself thinking she cant say such things as to shaan had told her he was
with his secretary koel at a coffee shop to the same koel now ...
because it would create an impression of shaan being a lier in the eyes of his own
secretary and later she would not respect him..if she begins to think he is lieing for small
things.,that too to his own wife..
so she with dryness decides to answer on shaans where abouts framing an answer in the
mind ...
but koel continues ......
" madam Main subah se sir ki mobile pur lagathar koshsish kar rahi hoon ..
...ring jaathi hai par pata nahi kyon sir pick up nahin karthe .......
ya pata nahin mobile mein kuch karaabhi hain
Haan madam r baaton mein bhool gayai...Sir se Zarorori kaam yeh tha ki..... subah se sir
ko naya concert ke liye book karne ke liye.office mein .bahut saare calls aa rahe hain
.... pur sir office mein nahin hain ....
Isliye meine unsab logon ko kal phir se phone karne ke liye bhola hain.
. Sir ke mobile number unke izzazat ke bagair mein kisiko nahi de sakthi thi na
..isliye meine ab ghar pur yeh baat batane ke liye phone kiya...
Khanak is not responding.
Koel continues thinking khanak is not liking her calling home for official work
" madam please sorry for the disturbance ..meine socha tha shayad sir ghar
pur aaram kar rahe honge isliye meine yahan phone kiya.."
there is a fun punch in that aaram conveying a double meaning...
But khanak is in no mood to note down the fun element..
khanak with a slight strong and firm voice "koelji shantanu ghar pur nahi hain"
Koel shows a surprise at her answer
" OH!! its o.k madam ..meine kuch aise hi socha ki sir concert ke baad bahut thak gaye
honge aur shayd aaj ke din aaram kar rahe honge isliye shayad sir ne mobile ko bhi pick
up nahi kiya""
thre is a real apology in koels tone
.....But wants to compelete her job of informing shantanu..
"Mrs.khanak aap bhura na maane toh kya aap bata sakthi hain ki sir is waqt kahan
hain..
kyonki meine saare logon ko kal dubhaara phone karne ke liye kaha hain aur sir ka kal
office mein aana bahut zaroori hain"
she does not want to ask khanak to inform shantanu lest she forget and shaan does not
turn up at office the next day due to some reason or the other ....
..what will happen to the rescheduled phone calls.
..all seem to be from top audio companies waiting for a tie up...with RK company...
it would result in unprofessionalism from the company...
she was worried knowing well about Rahuls strict temperament over expecting perfection
in job..
in the mean while khanak had framed in her mind what to answer
she replies to Koel calmly with no trace of any emotion whatsoever over her voice..
"Mere khayal se woh apne dost duck ke cafe mein gaye hueh honge aur shayad wahan se
nikhalke abhi raaste mein honge "
hinting to koel clearly as to she cannot catch shaan immediately over phone..
Khanak continues with assuring voice to koel
"..Koi baat nahi woh abhi aate hi honge mein unko bata doonghi.... aap kal subah phir ek
baar unko yaad dhila dena..aur kuch kehna hai.."
she now wants to end koels call."
Koel now is assured khanak is not upset with her so wants to end the call with prasing khanak
"aur kuch nahi ...haan...Mrs.Khanak Mein aapse ek baat kehna bhool gayi.
.AAp ki smile I mean muskurahat Is the best I have seen I mean sab se zayada achi hain...
.. Aaj tak meine kise ko itne acche muskurahat ke saath dekha nahin.
Kayi log itna rupaiyye udathe hain aur daanth ke doctor ke paas jaathe hain achi smile paane ke liye
Lekin Bhagwan ne aapko paidhayishi mein itna acha muskurahat diya hain..Aap bahut
kismatwali ho aur haan... shantanu sir bhi jho baar baar aise muskurahat dekhthe rehthe hain"'"
..there is a sigh in koels talk since she is a bit jealous her smile is so ordinary....but
cheerfully .continues
Mrs.khanak ....i love ur smile....Bye good night "..
If it was some other time
khanak would have blusehed and felt very happy innocently at such a great compliment
from little known person that too a female
but this time she was in no mood for it
Khanak was holding the phone for some minutes with shock and with tears waiitng to flow
but controlling it
even after Koel cut it off ...she murmured ....
" shantanu aapne mujhse itne choti si baat pour jhoot kyon bhola"
The question kept repeating in her mind...
Just then she heard the entrance door opening
..
she came back to senses..
..It must be shantanu she thought...
.but was no longer eager to run and welcome him..ðŸ˜
