Dear friends,
Announcing the launch of much-awaited *coughing* Critics' corner:):):)

There are some members in this forum, even if they are a minority, who like to talk about various aspects of the show both in appreciation and to comment critically.

Here is how 'criticism' is defined in this thread. Please check this link on wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism

To quote from the same page, "Criticism is the judgement of the merits and faults of the work or actions of an individual or group by another (the critic). To criticize does not necessarily imply to find fault, but the word is often taken to mean the simple expression of an objection against prejudice, or a disapproval. Another meaning of criticism is the study, evaluation, and interpretation of literature, social movements, film, arts, and similar objects and events. The goal of this type of criticism is to understand the work or event more thoroughly."

Here are some ground rules that we should all follow in order to make this thread productive an engaging:

1. Constructive and Objective criticisim only

2. Provide criticisim for the whole show- not just RaSam or ShaNak- this way it stays objective, and constructive as in..you cannot just say- I loved RaSam scene, tell us what you liked about it..You cannot just say you find Shanak boring...why are they boring?

3. We are here for RBO fans, RBO forum, RBO lovers, RBO critics and RBO CVs who want a better show. Everyone is welcome - this is an extremely friendly forum that welcomes everyone with open arms...except those who want to instigate us against each other...frankly, if you are that kind, stay away...we don't need no instigation...we can do it ourselves...but we are too classy a folk...and such behaviour shall be reported to the moderators!

So let us discuss/debate/analyse a show we all much love... take it apart scene by scene, line by line, angle by angle, and examine till our eyes and brains pop out!😆

{Sorry folks, I forgot to acknowledge Saaz who also contributed towards this write-up. Thanks Saaz and very sorry for being so forgetful}.

Ensoy:)

WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL COUPLE THESE TWO ARE!
I cannot bring myself to say anything else at this time.
Like Doc D said it felt like "we were intruding".
Leave alone the fact that HIS MOM ACTUALLY DID!
Very very handosme guy, with oodles of S-- APPEAL!
She looked lovely in blue, just dont care for those "Asha Parekh" (Thanks!) style clothes
I think those the the newst fashion, Deepika Padukone appeared in KBC wearing soem what like that, puffed sleeves and all.........
Her hair looks moderately OK, but still not back to its silky splendor
This post is totally ABOUT THE TWO
THE STORY CAN WAIT!😉
The rocking chemistry continues to sizzle
They just have to look at each other, sparks fly.......
I realize as a dear friend said "There is nothing else to show in this relationship NOW, so all we get is romance"
True!
But THEY DO IT SO GO ----MN WELL!

Thanks for the thread Aditee!

LOVED the ShaNak scene, hated the vulnerable looking girl.
Khanak was never one to say "khalijiye na Shantanu" or maybe I didn't want her to say it? either way..the scene would have been perfect if she hadn't said that one line. It killed it, kind of.
Shaan was being..Shaan.
The total MCP dialogue, about him being her biggest priority, was definitely him!

The hand holding that lead to twirling was so cliched! It was nice, but cliched. This is the kind of thing I curse other shows for, but when it's shown on ShaNak..even the worst becomes the best for me.😆 damn those two!
Acting; I don't even need to say anything, the episode speaks for itself. When Shaan said "chillao na", it felt like he was actually compelling her through his voice..if it was me in Khanak's place, I would have definitely done what he was telling her to do.😆

The background music is so amazing, always gives me this fluttery feeling. I wonder why they cannot come up with new original tunes for the Rock On track instead of using bollywood songs. ):

I will definitely come back later with some criticism! The effects of the scene have to wear off before I start pointing out all of the negative aspects. 😆
