Dude....these people do their homework through their agents when they have to attend such reality shows...

And just as a mutual contract between them....The reality show promotes the movie and raves about the actor and in turn the actor raves about the reality show...

Its the most fake thing in the world....

I HATE it when all these actors go and rave about the reality shows and say I have seen you....Ya right !!! I'd rather they say that I havent seen

Like when Kareen went into Big Boss...Shveta asked her....Do you actually see the show on tv....and Kareena went ...Umm no I had seen some of the last season but this one I havent seen....! They kinda sidelined that convo of Kareena's....If she had said "Yaaa I do watch"...then they'd have made a promo of it !!! Saying Bebo loves Big Boss !!!

I hated the way a reality show commented on Salli saying - "If I had been Ash...I'd have never left you"......Dude...how low can you go....The channel actually made that into a promo....!! That woman...whatever she might have done...Is married now.....Ethics say that they oughta have cut off that scene....

So dont get me started on Reality show appearances of Actors !!

Dont worry, I am "chilled out" "cool" what ever you would like.

I dont mind you defending KT so staunchly, you must be in love with Shaan ;-)

But whether you like to admit it or not it does make him look like a wannabe and not cool :-)

Togep: I dont think the Friends star cast contested for the Nov elections for me to be "against" them (ha ha)

I watched it, but will not agree that it was/is the best product of Hollywood, like I said "to each his/her own"

Also an FYI, being critical doeas not imply "hate or against"

You know what....I think Indian TV is regressive...

They show all this nonsense of Saas-Bahu jhagda....This mightve happened in the last decade...

But nowadays the women are working....educated.....And they dont behave like this....No kitchen politics happen...

Indian TV should get into the Episodic Formats.....As it is they are soo keen on aping the west...then why not ape the good things !!

Leave aside actors....U go to a college campus and ask ...How many of you kids watch Indian TV shows...............U bet they'll smirk in your face and say we only watch HBO/Star Movies/Star World...! At the most maybe they'll say...Yeah...I watch KBC/Koffee with Karan.....but you wont get them saying - Pratigya/Kyunki Saas/Rbo or any such soap !

I am not telling KT is wrong and all ....

i would have been happier had he mentioned at least some of the old shows which he might have defintiely watched.before entering acting in T>...

Anyways.....I m feeling silly to be writing soo much on such debate-less topic...

Everyone has their own views...And none of us are likely to change it after hearing each others arguments...

Even though I might not take this argument personally....Maybe one of you might hold it against me...

I dont want that....I come here to enjoy and take a break from work....I m not interested in making enemies here....

So I guess....I'll rest my case here...

P.S - Aditee and Shriya....No Hard Feelings Guys !!! Dont hold it against me alright !! LOL.....I am a very nice person and I DO DO DO watch Indian TV shows.....!! Hahaha !! And I dont care what other TV/Film actor watch....!! ROFL !!

s at teh end of the day it is everyones personal choice..we only told(me and aditee) we wouldaahve been happier had he told something on our Indian soaps too..

Of course I do respect his freeedom to make personal choices.

I don't see the big deal in all of this, where did he even imply his 'wannabe' attitude? Did he not simply say "I don't watch a lot of television" 😆

I'm not going to defend Friends, because well, I have never watched that show. But I don't see how KT saying the fact that he watches Friends affects his personality in any way. It is just his personal liking no? who are we to judge of that?

If he doesn't watch tv soaps, doesn't mean he's going to lie about it to make him seem like he does.😆 I didn't think being honest about one's likings could cause others to judge. 🤔 And I don't see why he should watch his his soap, just because he acts in it..doesn't mean he has to watch it. He doesn't have to show appreciation for his show by stating that he watches every single episode of it! 😳

@shriya: about the tele stars liking characters like Pratigya..it's their personal liking, you just mentioned it because you like that fact. JUST like KT mentioned that he just likes sitcoms rather than tv soaps.😳 it's all about what one likes and dislikes..nothing to do with their personality or the fact that they don't want to seem "uncool".

and yes, I am a fan of KT and of Shaan, yes I am defending him..no, not because I am a blind die-hard obsessed fan but because I feel what he said was his just his personal opinion and nothing more. 😳 I just feel it would be biased to put everyone into one category.
