In my view 2 epis last week were dragging, considering the pace at which the various scenes were unwrapping in front of us. Frankly speaking I felt it dragging just because I got used to the faster pace at which RBO moves. Hardly do we see 3 turns of the head with music (except in one place where it was done purposefully for comedy), or do we see each person's expression individually as a screen shot for any incident or long eyelocks for a complete music bit to complete. I found that the remaining epis are back on track in terms of pace - with many angles of the Khandelwals family realtionship being shown.
Coming to delay in Khanak's confession, I feel each ones opinion would vary depending on the people we have been around with. For eg. when it comes to love I never felt shy, so initially when I saw ppl feeling shy, I used to wonder why they feel shy. You are just expressing what is in your heart or what you want - so why shy. But however I have seen ppl who feel shy even after years of marriage and having children...my Mom is one gud example for me...she just blushes like anything even to this day (just now realized as i typed, how opposite i am to her)
So having seen shy ppl I can understand why khanak has so much hesitation in saying that. Its just 2 days since shaan has asked her to say ILU and its not easy to overcome shyness so soon...that too when u dont have anybody to motivate you in overcoming it. Khanak has come from a backward village, where sitting beside husband is considered besharam, remember the way Hetal chided her for sitting beside shaan when she brought him breakfast in his room. Saying ILU may also be considered a taboo... remember b4 the kuch khas hai song sequence how khanak was saying ... laughing loudly is a taboo for gals from gud house holds.
Believe me there are villagers who consider many things a taboo which we find silly. Fo eg., my aunt's maid comes walking 4 kms daily to work for her. When my aunt suggested to come by cycle, she said - nahi hamare mohalle mein cycle me aaoonge to alag se dekhthe hai.
