Yashashri Pays A Price For Overcoming Her Fears




Yashashri Masurkar, also known as Khanak of 'Rang Badalti Odhani', had quite a tough time shooting for a particular sequence recently, where she had to jump in a swimming pool.

Yashashri, who is an aqua phobic (fear from water) was really apprehensive about the shoot, and told TellyCafe.com, "It was a terrible experience because when I go in the water, I panic and then I can't breathe properly. And I had to do it because there was no other way out. Because of my fear, our shoot went on for 18 hours! At first, I was completely blank and could not think where I was. Slowly, I guess my mind got used to it. I was nervous the whole day but luckily, the scene came out really well."

That was the good news. The bad news is, getting over her fear came with a price. Yashashree adds, "I was shocked the next day when saw that my skin had reaction to the chlorine water. It was so bad... my face had boils all over and I had to take medical treatment for that. My make up artist hides it everyday with make up, now slowly it is healing and I am feeling better."

Think of the glass as half full Ms. Masurkar. At least you faced one of your fears head on and might be rid of it for life! A few breakput spots might be well worth it.
