Shaan is badly pissed hearing her talk happily reg kids and all and blasts her like hell. Finally he says - mein tere baka bak sun kar thak gaya hoon. Just leave me alone. Chale joan yahaan se. Khanak is deeply hurt by the third marriage comment by Shaan. When Boo commented abt her dho baar shaadi/pyaar ka experience, she somehow gathered strength and replied. But she never expected this frm Shaan. she immediately wanted to leave him and go - but her heart did not allow, she controlled herself. She looks towards shaan, he is holding his head and facing the other side. She wonders - what shall I do. I dont want to lose him. As she is thinking she notices the purse in Shaan's back pocket.

She slowly moves towards him and puts her hand to take the purse. Shaan jumps like a frog - shocked - anger writ all over his face - kyaa kar rahi ho tum. She shows him the purse and says - Aap subah se mujhe daant ke alawa kuch nahi kilaa rahen ho. Mujhe bahut bhookh lag rahi hai. Shaan says - toh maang sakti thi nah. She replies - aap abhi aapse baath karne se mana kiye ho. Shaan gets badly irked and says - just go - apni pet pooja achchi se karlo. Khanak nods her head silently with a cute pout and leaves. Just as she reaches the door, she turns back and asks if shaan also wants to come to eat. Shaan just gives her a angry stare and she leaves.

Shaan is angry and puzzled - 'meine itna use bola aur use koi asar nahi hua. What kind of a gal she is? Is her heart made of stone? If any gal was told abt third marriage she wud have broken like anything - but kahank she is really stone-hearted.'. Suddenly his expressions change to guilt 'No I am stone hearted. How cud I say that to her. She lost Suraj becoz of my recklessness. She married me to save me frm being killed. She has always been ther for me as a sincere friend in all times of musibat. How can I talk to her like this - God I am too selfish. Khanak I'm sorry'

He leaves the room looking fr khanak and reaches the restaurant. Khanak sees shaan entering the restaurant. She is overjoyed - shaan spoke so badly to her but still she is not angry - she is happy to see him com fr her - poor gal. Shaan comes to khanak's table, she gives a beautiful smile and invites him to join her. Shaan's heart sinks more with guilt. He cudnt meet her eyes. Shaan says - 'khanak .. I am sorry. Mein bahut hi bura kahaa. I am extremely sorry'.

Khanak says - ' woh sab chodiye kuch kaayiye, subah se aap bhi kuch nahi kaaya'. Shaan looks at her and gives her a small smile but guilt is written all over his face. They have a quite dinner. Sunil & akshay's hopes for a romantic dinner for them goes in the drain.

Later they start towards their room. But khanak stops him - 'shantanu ek minute, hum kapde nahi laaye. Kal ke liye kapde chahiye nah.' Shaan nods - ' haan, ab hum jaakar bahar kuch kapde kareedh lenge' They move out of the hotel to look out for shops. They walk to the market and buy some clothes andf walk back. On the way suddenly it starts raining. They run under a shop's shed for shelter. But both become completely wet by the time they run.

Shaan on the other hand cudnt overcome his guilt still. The fact that khanak silently bore all the hrsh things he said added more to his pain and guilt. He was feeling very bad for her. He slowly turned to look at her - he wanted to see how she was feeling - is she thinking abt all the bad thngs he said. When his eyes met khanak's face - his guilt turned into puzzle. What is the look on her face. What is she seeing so hesitatingly on him. He looked at himself to see what she was looking. And suddenly found himself dropping the carry bags in his hand on the floor and covering himself up crossing his hands. Khanak feels embarrased and immediately turns to the other side - Oh god how will i be able to face shantanu now. What happening to me. What am I doing.
