The Mandir Scene

• Shaan expressed his unhappiness and that he didn't like how she just accepted it....Shaan stopping her was a powerful statement....As if to say,' I am not going to let you go out of my life Khanak '....
• Even though she tried, Khanak was unable to do aarti for the engagement.....Thus she never got a chance to pray for Shaan and Natasha's furture....She was also unable to lie about her feelings....As Shaan saw her pain clearly in her eyes.....
• Shaan got blessing from Gopi's hands not Khanak....Therefore, Gopi's was wishing her Bhaa happiness.....In her mind she would have asked for ShaNak's happiness....Since Shaan has taken Suraj's place, Gopi's Bhaa can only be for Khanak....

In the middle of all the confusion, their destiny took over....So much has to be resolved, but it as if in that small gesture, Gopi sealed ShaNak's fate....

Nice post May ..indeed Gopi sealed ShaNak's fate..remember Gopi was the one who had done the gatbandhan during their wedding rituals..

Also its the same day where in the morning khanak had prayed for Shaan's happiness and Shaan had said 'hum dono ka din achha guzare' .. at the end of day both standing there hurting so much..but the day is not over yet ...cant wait to see what the day still has in store for these two..

Beautiful post May, and so very true !! ShaNak are truly destiny's children, because even though destiny is always playing with their lives, it is only because to show them that they are made for each other. I loved what Gopi said the other day that ShaNak are truly meant for each other or why else would they be together now, when she is from Dhulwadi and Shan from Mumbai.

I loved how you simplified the Mandir scene which was quite symbolic. Also I would like to appreciate the CV's for giving us the Mnadir scene before the bedroom one, because Shan needed that one sign from Khanak to really believe that what happened that night was wrong, and he got that sign from her in Mandir, because Khanak may lie for whatever reason anywhere else, she wouldn't lie while standing in a Mandir, and also she is the most vulnerable there, that's why I think he never took his eyes off her for even a second, because he knew that whatever she potrays in that time will answer a lot of his questions.
