Gaayu - I saw your responses on that Aye Baiko thread, and wanted to ask... if you thought on the same lines...

Dont you think (Veeni, if you are around, you comments please, coz I know you love Shaantanu's tumbling english as much as I do) that Shaantanu, will end up calling her sweetheart or something more easily and possibly translate has pyaari baiko( LOL) for her...

I somehow never saw him calling Tasha that... it was Tasha Tasha at the max... but I guess Khanak has endeared herself to him so much, sweetheart and such words will come naturally to him, while addressing her ( not any time soon, but possibly after they both realize their feelings and express them as well) , given his way of speaking... and that 'yaar' bit will come more easy... and english toh jaise uski mother tongue... pehle english mein sochta hai phir hindi mein bolta hai!! It's the other way around for people from vernacular schooling eh!! LOL, ROTFL

Oh yeah Gaayu, the KKH sequence was aired way too much - it bloody gave me a headache and that too every god damn 15 minutes!! LOL

just saw the new promo... poor guy.. i don't get why the cv's think we wud love rbo if they make KT strip... we love rbo for its uniqueness, the fact that it has a good storyline, that it is not OTT...infact, IMO rbo has a very mature, though not HUGE as geet or dmg, but MATURE fan following.. but it seems the cv's think we are some strip-off hungry fans that just wanna see kt nude..😕 what my point is, is that they shud know we are a group of fans who r LEAST interested in this OTT type sequences... the hero dancing in towel - that's not why we started watching, or still watch, rbo ...yes kt is hotttt..and v LOVE HIM.. and he has a nice body... per that doesn't mean the poor guy has to film scenes like this just to get the trp up.. ppl shud watch this show for its content, its story, the amazing acting of its fantastic actors - they shudnt be watching this just to see the hero stripping off.. 😕 so i dunno why the cv's are doing this...i really hope they do not become into the trp crazy sorta production houses out there who wud do just abt anythign to get more viewers... i have seen NUMEROUS dramas gettign RUINED just becuz of this sole reason... mjht geet (which i thought had a pretty interesting story in the beginning, but now ... ) , etc.... i REALLY don't want rbo to go that way - it's been directed in a very realistic, unique, and logical manner as compared to other shows on tv today...wud be a shame if it gets turned into some OTT trp crazy show.. *fingers crossed*

i'm just afraid the cv's don't take this as a sign that they can again and again make him do such scenes - just to get the show more ratings... kt seemed uncomf. with this seq. and it makes sense - seeing the new promo 😛

Sidra - Yaar aapne sahi farmayaa... I dont know why CVs are thinking we are some 'strip-off hungry fans that just wanna see kt nude.' fans.. WE are not... We started watching the show for its content and not for these silly filminess and definitely not to see the lead actor strip for god's sake... its a show with a social message and a very deep and impacting one at that... please dont fill in sleaze... please ... and TRPs can take a frigging hike ... if you are a team keen on conveying a point across stick to it, dont fall for the TRP game and ruin and dare I say insult your own creative and original approach !

o.k... really need to go now, LOL, but can't help saying this-

Sidra is 100% right. RBO has a 'different' fan following compared to other Star One shows. I sent a link some ages ago, abt an interview by a channel exec who said they were taregtting urban women in the 25-35 age group thru Geet and Odhani!😕 Looks like Geet has been hijacked by the 14+ crowd! RBO is the only quality show the channel has...

My feeling is, like with all serials, after 3 months, the channel starts wanting TRPs. So the PH is testing the waters with this... if this works, that is, brings in the crowd that watches the other shows, then they may keep the story focused on ShaNak only... and forget abt Dhulwadi, Suraj, etc....

if it doesn't do anything major, then we may get back the original plot...am guessing here.

Looks like we r worried for KT😆 But I think he is fine... he seems an extremely confident young man for his age, knows what he is doing.... just being compared to Ranbir Kapoor is a major publicity boost for him... to have worked on a 3 hero show like LNMDJ to a single lead in RBO is good progress na... so that man has a plan in mind and is just doing that... again, am guessing.

Tomorrow's epi shld tell us how this wk will go.... I still have faith in Swapna ji... she seems very intelligent...let's see.

Gaayu - I agree Swapni Ji seems very sure of what she is doing and so is KT. But all said and done, for a show that has a such a deep and impacting message at its core... sleaze and stripping finds no place and the viewers or the intended audience is definitely not keen on it...

Fingers crossed and hoping that another superb show doesn't bite the TRP dust!
