The evil minded Ravan,who was maddened with lust grabbed Sita just as the planet Budha/mercury holds the (star/nakshatra) RohiNi

read the next verse:

With his left hand Ravan grabbed Sita's nape (neck, back of her plait) and with right he grabbed her thighs,thus lifting the lotus eyed Sita.

Experts comment that Sita might have fainted, because the way Ravan lifts her,as stated above; is easier when somebody is in a sleeping position.

Valmiki's Sita is human so Ravan touched her,nothing happens by mere touching.....If any one is at fault,its the sinner and never the victim. whatever Valmiki has written is true,yet why are people not able to accept bitter truths??
If Sita was touched, against her will,that does not become any sin on her part.

Writers like Kamban also did not like Sita being touched by Ravan thats why in his Ramayan(in Tamil) he makes Ravan cleave the earth itself ,when Sita faints.

I too agree with u nothing happens by mere touching. A woman does not become impure if she is touched forcefully against her will. If it is so then I think no women in this world will be ever able to maintain her purity. Sita was frightened because because Ravan takes his Dashanan -Dasgreev rup. Raavan also holds her hair. Our Sriptures says that holding hairs of a woman to show force causes ruination, destruction of the person doing so. By touching her hairs Raavan invited his death.

I didnt like the concept of Laxman Rekha. there was no laxman Rekha in Valmiki Ramayan. Why it was added by later writers? Its really insulting. Sita never crossed any Laxman rekha or maryada rekha

They shoud properly show Ram crying for jatayu n doing his last rites. Jataayu sacriface was selfless. When he sacrificed his life for saving Sita he didn't desired anything in return.

Sagars are going too fast. I hope they slow down a bit and concentrate on details. They never showed Jatayu meeting Ram and Sita before(as per the original story) and suddenly they show Sita recognising Jatayu. Akhilendra Mishra is a very good pick for the villain. He is as good as if not better than the older Ravan(Arvind Trivedi).

though debina was too cold in her response when jatayu gets injured trying to protect her
same her expression didnt change much when she discovers sage is none other than ravan
akhilendra as ravan was awesome honestly
abt lakshman rekha i dont know scriptures much but it was there in prev ramayan and by that rekha it means a woman has to stay in her line
once she crosses that she cant come back

it works in general normal life too

Laxman rekha concept is very insulting.

Valmiki wrote Ramayana in a very special style(Anubhuti metre). Each verses of ramayana r wriiten in same metre containg same no of syllabus. So there is very less chance of its getting changed.

If there was any laxman rekha then why Ram rebuked Laxman for leaving Sita alone. Ram loved laxman more than his life. Balkanda says that he didn't use to eat anything without Laxman. For the first time he rebuked him. This shows that there was no laxman rekha.

Raavan touched Sita in Panchavati only to abduct her. He keep tried to bait her with chief queen hood so that he could make her to surrender before himself.he tried to change her mind n he said that he will provide her all luxaries of the three world. By making Sita surrender before himself he wanted to take appropriate revenge of Surpanakha's insult. He wanted to insult Ram that why he didn't ude force.

But Sita was a very strong lady she scornfully rejected all his proposals. She was a staunch husband devotee n a lady of strong determination. Raavan miserably failed in all his attempts to change her mind.

i will def let u all know what was exactly shown in jai hanuman show as tht show was made under the guidance of ppl who did great research in ramayan .

I DON'T KNOW WHY debina's expressions r not coming properly ,those were some very precious scenes of sitaji lamenting as an imp twist came in her life after tht ,plz!!!!! debina don't spoil the whole charm of separation scenes of ram-sita.

when we as viewers cud notice tht debina was not acting from her heart,then why can't these sagar's .

wonder how debina is gonna act in her weeping scenes in further episodes

Sitaji was good but not the best , Ramji n laxmanji performed well. Yeah even i dont like sitaji on ravans shoulder, even Ramji never touched Sitaji in the show and see this ravan , but its ok.
