Ap21:Finally Dasarath dies;Sumitra’s fury

Part2: death of Dasarath

An anxious blind saint and his wife are waiting for Shravan. Mother is really thirsty and she is worried.

Dasarath enters with slow steps.

Both the parents are happy that their son have returned but worried why he is not talking. They think that their good son is for some reason unhappy with them and they think its right, the way he has to take care of them.

They keep on asking what is the matter and Dasarath responds , I am here with your water.

F:you r not shravan, who r you?

M: where is my dear son?

D: I brought water for you, shravan sent it, he has not come

M: not come what do you mean? My son never takes a move without our permission. Where is he

D: first you drink water

M: you tell me who r you? Where is my son

D: ( crying) he will never come again

F: what nonsense

D: I am raghuvanshi, I never lie

F: then tell the truth

D: shravan will never again come back. He is no longer alive.

Bothe the man and wife exclaim in pain

Dasarath narrates the whole story and asks for their forgive ness

A crying mother: my shravan! Oh my son, he never sleeps without me caring for him

How can he elave me like that

My husband, allow me, I must go to shravan and put him to sleep

And she drops dead

Father of shravan hears this and he falls to ground broken.

Griefstriken by this loss , he curses Dasarath:

Dustmati, your one arrow took two of the lives most precious to me. I will die too. But before I die I curse thee. The way you caused my death, you will die a similar death, pining for your son

He drops to death. A broken Dasarath stands dumb.

Coming from his trance, an aged Dasarath exclaims to Sumitra. He has again seen divine for of ram slowly advancing.

D: Sumitra, for the first time a curse will not come true. I am so lucky I can see ram.

He hops from his bed, before the ladies can stop him , he slowly advances towards the door. Ram, in his divine self come to him slowly. They meet, Dasarath with outstretched arms.

He is completely contented. A completely happy Dasarath closes his eyes and falls to ground in peace.

Silence prevails. Then the ladies rush to his body. They touch him; they call him, no response.

Ram's father went to ram's haven

Part3: Sumitra goes to Kaikeyi, gives out her fury; declares the fatal news

First time I am reminded that she is Laxman's mother

Night time is the jungle. Somehow ram cannot sleep, he stirs here and there and finally wakes up fom bed, worried.

He goes out the hut.

Outside Laxman is patrolling.

R: Laxman

L: brother, you haven't slept yet?

R: I do not know, why but somehow it feels that father is beckoning us

L: let's sit together and pray for our father brother.

Ayodhya

Manthara enters Kaikeyi's room , two maids have brought some gifts for her.

They give the gifts to a pleased Kaikeyi and address her "PRANAM RAJMATA

K: what is this? Why are you calling me this

Manthara seems puzzled too

M: who sent youtwo?

Sumitra enters: I did, rajmata Kaikeyi. She dismisses the two maids.

K: Sumitra! Hwta nonsense

M: maharani Sumitra, maybe you have forgotten that Kaikeyi is first queen Kaikeyi, queen of Dasarath and then she is the would be rajmata

S: she was the queen, but no longer. Now she will only me Rajmata and BHARATKE MATA.

M: r you in your mind?

Sumitra goes straight to Manthara and slaps her tight on her face.

S: the dirt of the feet should be kept at the feet only. I know very well how to treat such vermins

K: Sumitra

S: yes Rajmata Kaikeyi, I know very well how to treat these vermins. You and you only have treated this dirt at the top of you head. You showed such reverence as it should not ahev got, but no! you trusted this piece of vermin more than all of us, you disobeyed the alsws of Raghuvansh. Its because of you, PAPIYASHi that the Sun of Raghuvansh has set to west.

You r the reason for this

Kaikeyi stares dumb

S: for you and you only our dear king Dasarath has left this earth. We none of us now the queens , so you r the Rajmata now.

Kaikeyi screams: NO

Sumitra is today relentless, she is bursting with fury and she has no compassion for Kaikeyi today

S: I brought these gifts for you rajmata, adore yourself. You wanted these, more than anything

You wanted power, wealth, control

Take them wear them, the throne of Ayodhya is empty. Go take your Bharat and sit there and rule. Rule

You did not care for us, maharaj, my ram, my sita, my Laxman na

Only you paid heed to this woman here , plotted with her so that Bharat can sit on throne

Go take them wear the,m sit on throne

Sumitra then breaks down crying. In a fit of anger she takes all the beautiful dresses, the jewels, the ornaments and threw them on Kaikeyi 's face.

wow! I love the Sumitra's fury part... Did something like that really happen? Sagar previously showed Sumitra as a docile woman relegated to the background.

thx tan for the wonderful update i really like sumitra today and the way she talk with kaikey and when she slap manthra i was like 1 more slap sumitra was tooo good

yes and i just loved it today it was like she is truely laxman and shatrughan mother now i m waiting for shatrughan so that he canbeat manthra today hatsoff to sumitra she made this episode intresting

todays was an out an out eventfull one, three diff storylines in three parts, i felt i must rename all of them to do justice to them
