well i agree...ramayan is the only serial which i watch nowadays...infact my whole family does! 😊 all the actors r doing a very good job...especially Ram ji 😳..hez really good... adbhut hai mahima...do akshar ke raam ki!! 😳

i watch only two serials

Even I complete all my work before 9 30 and hate interruptions in between. I work late night from fri to sun, but no one can make me work after 9 on ramayan days. he he

I still prefer old ramayan. All actors suit their characters.(not only leading ones.) Arun Govil was in his late 30's but does not look that old and he had a godly aura. Dara Singh who was in his 60's did an unbeatable job..same goes for Arvind Trivedi(ravan)and Vijay Arora(Meghnad). Dipika was also natural but only in the first 2-3 episodes she was a bit stiff.
In this Ramayan the sets and techniques are better because we are now 21 years further. I think Debina has one set of expressions. Hope she will improve. Gurmeet was stiff in the beginning but now he is better.
The songs and dialogues are inspired from the previous one..thought sagars would try something new. I also hoped they would "tell the story from other perspectives"which had not been shown in previous one. I still watch old ramayan every day and I know it's not perfect but for me I still get a divine feeling from watching the old one. 😊

Well...I would agree.....earlier...they defined young and handsome as 30+
and so Arun govil was passable at that time as a young Ram
Same goes for the old Sita....

Now however....young means 18+..so we are used to younger people and hence find the arun govil as too old...😉

Dipika(old sita)was 22 when she enacted the role of Sitaji.

debina looks old when compared to Gurmeet.. coz gurmeet looks very young. I read somewhere Ramji was 16 when gone for vanvas. n Gurmeet suits this age span.. well a real 16yrsold cannot perform so nice as gurmeet.
Debina nowadays look a bit slim too. I thing shes lsing weight to match more perfectly with Gurmeet.
But anyways they bth r awesome and Ramji (gurmeet) aaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssoooooooooooommmmmmmee eeeeeeeee...

whatever we saw in the first few episodes of the previous ramayan is what is going on till one in the new one. Where we said deepika stiff for her two three episodes is what we have seen for twenty episodes of debina. Is commendable how she had been holding onto loads of similar scenes. Of course it looked like similar sets of expressions. The time when sita actually had to do something and became the sita is yet to come. Same for other actors. And somehow i find debina also to be young cos woman always looks a little more mature than men
