well we cant compare both ramayan because there is 20 yrs difference between them plus the old ramayana was weekly so there was no detail in that while new version is daily so there is lot of detail part and 20 yr differene is lot of difference i liked both ramayan cant say which 1 is best

Yeah I am starting to like this version of Ramayan too....earlier I didn't like the lead actor but he's starting to grow on me 😆

old ramayan was great too...it was the hit serial of that era! 😉

it's always soooooooooooooooo pleasure to watch RAMAYAN !! it really gives an eternal solace to our mind & soul !!!

gurmeet is just genius in the role of RAMAYAN !!!

ankit is also great & the actor playing shatrughna is so handsome & fab !!

the othee sagar heroes i like are --------ANAS RASHID as prithvi raj chauhan & the actor who plays the role of sai-baba in the show saibaba on star plus !!
by the way the other mythological show JAI DURGA MA on star plus ,i guess is not as popular !!! i saw 2-3 episodes of tht show but not at all impressed by the acting of any actor ,rajkumari sumukhi is not at all doing a great job & the show is also a bit dull types & over acting by many actors !!

yeah!! kayamath is very boring now a days becaz of stupid milind-ayesha track ,by the way kasturi ,saatphere clash at the time of RAMAYAN ,THT'S WHY ramayan is giving them a tough competetion ,how does kayamath is related to RAMAYAN trp's !!!😕

i agree this ramayan is better though old ramayan was really good..this one is more entertaining and colorful..it's shown in more detail as it's a daily..also i like gurmeet more as Ram though Arun Govil did a great job

but the TRP'S are decided by the IST .

BY THE WAY i wud always chose RAMAYAN over anyother shows which i watch becaz we all cannot compare such a genius ,inspirational & fantabulous show RAMAYAN to anyother shows !!! it wud be soooooooooooooooooo foolish to compare RAMAYAN with any other show !!!

there was a confusion in the mind of the people when it started. But the show started growing on us. The final verdict started when they simultaneously started showing the old ramayan. 😕 then we could make out the difference between the two. And called this new ramayan way ahead of the previous one. We had not seen and many had half forgotten what was shown back then. It was more like word of mouth that it was the most popular show. Now when you see it you find arun grovil old and deepika having one single static expression on her face. You cant make out what she wants to convey. This actor gurmeet has reached peoples heart with his godly handsome looks and debina with her minute detail acting. Even when she is not mouthing any dialogue
