Spy - Maharaj, Maharaj. Attack. Attack.
Luvnasur - What attack?
Before the spy can answer, Shatrughan's senapati shoots an arrow at him.
Luvnasur - Spy, tell me who wants to kill you.
The spy points towards senapati but senapati hides. The spy dies.
Luvnasur - Who dared to kill my spy? Come in front?
Some sages, captured by Luvnasur are talking among themselves.
One sage - So he is Luvnasur's enemy.
Another - Yes but it is impossible for him to stay alive. Luvnasur will not let him live.
Third - But we cannot let him die like this. We must do something.
Luvnasur - Soldiers, search all over the place. Bring to me whoever he is. I will punish him with my own hands.
One sage - Then why delay Luvnasur? Punish us because we killed your spy.
Luvnasur - Stupid rishi, do not try to delude me. You all are weaponless. How could you kill that spy?
Sage - We shot that arrow with our yogic power.
Luvnasur - How dare you!
Luvnasur kills the rishis with the trishul.
He laughs - This is Luvnasur's justice.
In Chyavan rishi's ashram
Shatrughan - Where is senapati? Why hasn't he come back yet?
Senapati arrives.
Shatrughan - What is the news? And why are you so late?
Senapati - I have killed the spy, Maharaj. He left the world with our secret in his heart.
Shatrughan - Prepare to attack Luvnasur. He must not know about our plan. Tonight we will cross the river and surround his palace. In the morning we will attack him when he comes out of the palace after doing puja of the trishul.
Luvnasur is enjoying in his palace. Shatrughan's army reaches the secret door.
Shatrughan - Senapati, this is the secret gate through which Luvnasur will come out. But we must be careful. Tomorrow morning, we will attack him.
Senapati - Do not worry, Maharaj. Luvnasur will not escape.
In the morning, Luvnasur does the puja of trishul.
Luvnasur - Mahadev, by your blessings I have become invincible. Let your blessings continue like this. Today I want to be certain not a single rishi-muni should stay alive at or near the bank of yamuna. Otherwise I will not let any of you stay alive.
His soldiers go to obey his orders.
Queen - Maharaj, why are you inviting the curse by killing innocent rishis?
Luvnasur - You are my wife and taking their side? Maharani, we have Mahadev's power with me and that power has made me invinvible. Nobody on the whole Earth can cause even slightest harm to me.
Luvnasur comes out of the palace and sees Shatrughan.
Shatrughan - Luvnasur, your end is near. If you have courage, then face me. I, Darshrathnandan, Ayodhya-naresh Sri Ram's younger brother Shatrughan challenge you for war.
Luvnasur - Dashrath's son Shatrughan, it is not right to ambush like a coward and challenge for war. You have put a blot on your father's fame.
Shatrughan - Cowards are those who torture rishis. Who can be more coward than the one who misuses Mahadev's weapon?
Luvnasur - Shatrughan, you must be knowing that warriors do not attack a weaponless enemy. Give chance to me to bring my weapons.
Shatrughan - Luvnasur, don't you trust your arms? Do you want to hide in your palace like a coward?
Luvnasur - I accept your challenge Shatrughan but you are inviting your death.
Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh and gods are watching.
Luvnasur throws a sword and Shatrughan shoots an arrow. The arrow hits the sword. Luvnasur searches for another weapon. Shatrughan hits him with an arrow. (Even though Luvnasur was going out for food, still isn't it strange that he came out with only one sword when he knew that he had many enemies?
Luvnasur - Shatrughan, you cheated me.
Luvnasur dies. (Looks like the war ended too soon.) Indra and other gods shower flowers on Shatrughan. In the palace, Luvnasur's wife is shocked to see the trishul moving up. The trishul moves up and goes back to Lord Shiv.
Shiv - Shatrughan, you did a great work by killing this sinner. Your fame will be sung for eras. Our blessings are always with you.
Shatrughan ascends the throne of Madhupuri.
Senapati - Maharaj, we have freed all rishis and caught the demons who were revolting against us. Give your orders what further is to be done.
Shatrughan - Put them in prison and send message to Ayodhya that Madhupuri is free from the atrocities of Luvnasur.
In Ayodhya
Kaushalya - Still no news from Shatrughan. Ram, send some messenger.
Ram - Ma, I have full faith in Shatrughan. If I had even slightest doubt, then I would not have sent him.
Kaushalya smiles. Laxman comes there.
Laxman - Bhaiya, there is a message from Madhupuri. Shatrughan has killed Luvnasur.
Ram - Laxman, where is Shatrughan?
Laxman - He is in the darbar of Madhupuri.
Kaushalya - Now Shtrutkirti's worries are over.
Sumitra - When will Shatrughan come back to Ayodhya?
Ram - He has to see the situation there. Laxman, let there be celebrations on the occasion of Shatrughan's first victory.
Precap - Guru Vashisth sees some omens and infers that somebody is planning to attack Ayodhya. He informs this to Ram. (Now who might this be?)
