Incidentally, yesterday @ Music World, I saw that the entire DVD set is available in a package (forgetting the price right now). Do you recall how many episodes did this Ramayan have - from the first to the Mahaprayan? This box had 300 episodes listed - wondering whether it would have included Karkati, Gretelasuri, Swarna Kamal and all those other myriad adventures collected by the Sagars 😆

Mallika Di told me of a 20 DVD set, and I was wondering if it was highly edited, because NDTV Ramayan is more than double the episodes of RS's Ramayan, and the latter came up to 16 DVDs after being edited....shouldn't the new Ramayan be longer, maybe 30 DVDs or so?

That's a pretty good deal, esp if it was not edited as much.😲 How many DVDs was it?
Does anyone know where I can get a good deal for Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna (without the Mahabharat epis)? I looked in the Sagart Arts website, but it seemed a bit pricey to me and I was wondering if India had any good deals.

Lalitha, did u try amazon.com? It is available there and also Indiaplaza.com has a good mythological collection. I am not sure if they have Shri Krishna though. Check with them. U have to click on the 'shop USA/Worldwide' link.

Thanks Khalrika! I'll check amazon, but I'm not sure the prices will be much lower than it is in the Sagararts website.

This week the episodes of Indrajeet's funeral and Sage Aghasthya teaching Ram the Aditya Hrudaya Stotra.

When I read the Valmiki Ramayana and the Kambaramayana, both the versions mention Indrajeet was brave and courageous and fought well. Does any version idolise this Demon Prince? Does any version mention that he met his father before plunging into his last battle?

I was wondering if Ihad missed reading anything.
